Siddharth woke up early as he had an important meeting with foreign delegates today. The meeting was in a five star hotel and he had to be there at 9:00 am.

He got ready quickly and went to the meeting. After finishing his meeting successfully, Siddharth went to the office directly grinning widely which earned him shocked stares from everyone including Raj and Neha.

He went to his cabin and sat in his chair. He looked at the time and thought that the post must have reached her by now which he had sent her 2 days back.

He doesn't know how she will react but he had to try if he had to make her fall in love with him again.

That day in the hospital, after discussing with Dr. Ramesh, he had decided that he would woo Anu again but only after the confirmation he got about her health from the doctor.

He had no problem in meeting and talking to her but he was worried if it would trigger her brain with memories which may effect her health. Doctor said that she had been getting flashes of her past and it will be easy to regain her memory if he tried to be normal with her like before.

Doctor said that she is becoming restless while thinking about those flashes and when she doesn't get answers she is stressing herself in the wrong way. It's better if we ourselves give her the answers and so Siddharth decided he would accept whatever she wants.

If she wanted answers then he will give her all the answers and if she doesn't want to talk about the past then he is ready to let go of their past and live in the present.

He decided he would make new memories with her and make her fall in love with him again. After all she is his Anu, she would not get rid of him so easily. He will woo her and make her his again.

Little did he know that she had already fallen for him again and is head over heels for him.

He was working all day with a smile on his face. He didn't even got angry at an employee who had made a mistake and didn't reject the leave application of a girl who wants leave for 15 days. She thought he would glare at her and tesr the application apart but instead he just signed it calmly. That girl looked at him like he was an alien.

Whole staff was surprised at his attitude and behaviour.

Siddharth didn't get any message or any call from Anu regarding the post and he also didn't ask her. He left it to her and will wait for her reply.

But he was restless regarding her answer.

" What happened to you?" Raj asked when he saw Siddharth smiling to himself.

Siddharth snapped his head towards Raj who was looking bewildered at him.

" Nothing." He just shrugged.

" Take care of work, I am going." Saying this Siddharth stormed out of his cabin not letting Raj talk anything.

Siddharth went to his house straight away and ran around the house searching something. When he found it, he ran upstairs making his mother follow him and she was shocked as he was opening his old room again.

" What are you doing Sid?" She asked him.

" I want to go to my room back." He said making her worry.

" What? But....." He cut her off.

" Don't worry Ma, nothing will happen to me. I did wrong by keeping her memories away and punsihed myself when I am supposed to cherish them." He said smiling at her who nodded her head skeptically.

But his smile eased her tension, it's not everyday he smiles like that. She smiled at him back and went away to let him be alone with whatever he wants to do.

He went inside his room and looked around. Everything was same as before but he had damaged some things and all the photos were scattered around. He didn't let anyone in his room to clean them and let anyone touch Anu's things. So they are just the way he had left them.

He started cleaning his room all by himself. First he picked up all photos from the bed and ground. Then he dusted every corner of his room and broomed the whole room. He threw away all the waste and dirt. And then he started arranging all the things in his room one by one.

He decorated all their photos on all the walls and kept all things in his closet safely. He smiled looking at his room in satisfaction and to say the truth he missed it. He missed his room, he missed looking at her photos all the time, he missed waking upto see her beautiful face in the photo which was placed in front of his bed on the wall.

That's it, he thought he will correct every incorrect happened in their lives but for that Anu has to give him a chance and he prayed that she would.

It was already night and he didn't observe time while cleaning his room. He ate his dinner and slept hoping tomorrow will be a new beginning of their lives.

Siddharth started to get worry as he didn't receive any call or message from Anu today also. He thought of waiting for one more day and ask her directly.

He attended meetings and it was evening already. He was continuously working without any break and that's when his phone rang.

" Hello?" He picked his phone looking into a file.

" Siddu." He heard and he froze.

" Siddu?" He heard again which snapped him out of his trance.

" Anu....hi." He said nervously.

" Can we meet?" She asked him softly.

" Sure.....where?" He asked smiling.

" At the park." She said and he agreed.

" I will be there in half an hour." He said.

" Okay.....bye." saying this she had cut the call.

He felt different, happy and more than that he was excited to meet her.

He quickly shut down his work and got out of his office. He started driving towards the park and in between he stopped two times to take flowers and icecream for her.

He looked into his watch and he was five minutes late. He got down from his car and ran into the park hurriedly taking flowers and icecream. He looked around for her but couldn't find her.

It was getting dark as it was already seven in the evening and the park was almost empty. He walked towards the bench where they always used to sit and saw there was a red envelope on the bench. He kept the flowers and icecream on the bench and reached for the envelope.

He opened it slowly and his eyes widened at the note he saw.

I love your smile and I love it more if you smile because of me - A

His heart was thumping loudly in his chest looking at the note.

What is she doing?

He walked forward and saw another red envelope with a note on a bush.

I love your eyes and I love them more if they shine because of me - A

He gulped and looked around for her.

And suddenly the whole tree in front of him was lit up in lights.

He stepped forward when he saw red envelope dangling from a tree branch. He removed it and opened it carefully.

I hate your tears and I hate them more if they are because of me - A

He had tears in his eyes reading that.

He walked around the tree and saw her standing there facing the other side looking down. She was wearing a saree and she was looking like a goddess.

"Anu?" He called and she stiffened.

" Anu." He called again and she turned around.

She looked at him who is as handsome as ever and she couldn't help but stare at him. His eyes looking at her with love and he was smiling at her. She always wants him to be like this smiling and happy.

He opened his mouth to ask her something but she cut him off.

" Please don't ask me any questions, just listen to me." She pleaded and he nodded his head looking at her cautiously.

Many questions were swirling around his mind right now and he was afraid what she has to tell him because she was looking so scared and nervous.

" I wanted to talk to you about many things but I don't know from where to start." She said chuckling and he just looked at her.

" Siddharth I know there are many things you all are hiding from me but there are some things I got to know by myself. I don't know what had happened in the past and I don't know what will happen in the future. But I know that I have given you so much pain and I hate myself for that. Whatever was the situation and however it was you were with me all the time even when you were not sure that I am going to live and even when we are miles apart from each other. You were always there guarding and protecting me without letting me know." She said gulping the lump formed in her throat and tears fell from his eyes.

" This is what everyone calls as love. But for me what you did was beyond love.....it was beyond any emotion, any power and anything in this world. There are no words to describe for what you did for me and kept doing till today and I can say for sure you will be doing in future also. And the question arises in my mind.....Do I really deserve this much love? Do I even deserve you?"

Every word she is talking are coming straight from her heart and he was just listening to her intently.

" Regardless of what I deserve, whom I deserve, what had happened in the past and what will be happening in the future, I just want to be with you. Most important thing is now.......this is my present and I want to live this present with you." She paused to look at his reaction and he was looking baffled at her.

" I know this may sound absurd to you that all of a sudden I am saying this but I thought a lot about this. You won't even believe me if I say I have started falling for you and has feelings for you not from now but from the day when I met you for the first time or should I say when we met again. My brain might have forgotten you but my heart recognises you and I could feel you even without looking at you if you are there somewhere near me. It's clear that only you are there in my heart and it only beats for you." She said the whole thing looking directly into his eyes.

" I love you Siddu." She said.

He was both crying and smiling at her words. It came as a shock to him as he didn't expect her confession at all.

" So, Mr. Siddharth Khurana, I don't need anymore answers, I don't need to know anything......I just need you. I love you and want to make new memories with you and to be with you forever. Will you give me a chance?" She asked smiling going on one knee and held her hand out to him.

To say he was shocked will be an understatement. She was proposing him.....his Anu was proposing him.

He immediately held her hand and pulled her up. He hugged her tightly and cried. He cried out all his pain for the first time. He doesn't know what he would do without her, he can't even imagine his life without her and from the time he came to know about her disease, only one fear was there and that is fear of losing her.

He cried for a long time holding her tightly in his arms afraid of losing her if he leaves her and she also cried along with him. He had missed her so much, it was like his soul has been taken away from him.

" As I said earlier, I hate to see you cry......I am so sorry for everything I put you through." She said wiping his tears.

" No, it's not your fault. Situation was like that and I hate to see you cry too." He said wiping her tears.

" So will you give me a chance?" She asked him again.

" Yes and you don't need to even ask that.....you don't know how much I longed to be with you." He said and she smiled widely hugging him.

" And I should be the one who should be proposing to you, not you and I should be the one who should go on knees to ask you for a chance." He said.

" Oh! I just beat you in that." She said laughing.

" Hey! I was ready to propose you if you had responded to the post I had sent you." He pouted.

" Oh." She said.

" Oh? I had sent you the offer for joining back in the office and your answer is oh?" He asked in disbelief.

" Yes." She said.

" What yes?" He asked.

" I will join back in the office." She said and he grinned at her.

" So about the proposal?" She asked.

" Huh what?" He feigned confusion.

" Hey! You said that you are ready to propose if I responded to the offer." She said exasperated hitting him making him laugh.

She gawked at his laugh, it was the most beautiful sight she had ever seen.

" One second!" Saying this he walked back few steps and she looked at him to know what was he doing.

He came back bringing flowers and went on his knee. He held flowers in front of her and smiled at her while she looked at him with wide eyes.

" There's so much happened in our lives and If I look at you now nothing matters more for me except you. You are all that I ever wanted in my life. I loved you, still love you and will love you forever." He said smiling at her and a sob escaped from her mouth hearing him.

" Will you give me chance to correct every incorrect in our lives and to love you forever?" He asked her.

She took the flowers from his hands  and jumped on him making them both fall on the ground. He hugged her in his arms while she cried.

" Okay, so your answer is yes I guess." He said playfully making her chuckle pulling away to see her face.

" I love you." She said looking into his eyes.

" I love you too." He said and smashed his lips onto hers.

How much he missed her!

They kissed and kissed don't know for how long.

" You kissed me!" She shouted grinning at him.

He raised his brows at her laughing.

" I used to get some flashes of you kissing me, holding me, hugging me......and now I understood that you were that person all this time." She exclaimed happily.

" Ofcourse....who would it be other than me!" He asked annoyed thinking that she thought it was someone else.

" Hey! It wasn't clear so I always get confused." She said getting up and he also got up along with her.

" So?" He asked.

" So?" She asked.

" What are we now?" He asked sitting on the bench.

" I don't know, you tell me." She said shrugging.

" We are in a relationship now....so that means you are my girlfriend." He said making her blush.

" So you are my boyfriend now?" She asked him excited.

" Yes genius, I am your boyfriend now." He said chuckling.

They talked for a while. She was shocked knowing how they first met and other series of incidents which led to their love story. She was happy knowing that their fate and destiny was together which brought them together again.

" Oh shit!" Siddharth yelled making her jump.

" What happened?" She asked him.

" I totally forgot about the icecream.....it must have melted totally." He said showing her the icecream.

Her eyes lit up seeing it and she took it from and started eating it even though it is melted. He tried to take a spoon from her but she shoved his hand away glaring at him and started eating happily.

" What?" She asked him who is looking at her like he was about to cry.

" Karthik was right! You love icecream more than me." Siddharth said pouting.

She laughed loudly keeping her head on his shoulder making him look at her lovingly.

I would like to clear some things as many of them raised doubts in the last chapter.

In the last chapter, everyone thought that Anu might take a drastic step but I would like to let you all know Anu's character is not so weak. She had gone through so much, faced bravely everything with a smile and even fought with the death. She got a new life and she better knows how to live it fully than to destroy it. Yes! She had sacrificed her love once thinking that he might destroy his life after her death but she herself saw how distraught and broken he was without her. So she wouldn't do that to him never again.

Siddharth stayed away from her because of her health as it took a lot for her to become alright and he wouldn't risk it for anything. Anu was digging her past because she was confused with the reality and the flashes she gets. It's not just because they want to stuck to their past or doesn't want to move on. It's hard for them if we think from their point of view.

The last chapter was an eye opener to both of them and see the reality that it's them and their love matters the most......nothing else.
