Queen Elsa was combing her long, platinum-blonde hair as snow fell outside her window. Unlike the events of last summer, this snowfall was natural and not caused by her wintery magic, which she now had control over.
Her Emotions, Joy, Fear, Sadness, Anger, and Disgust, however, were all over the place in Headquarters.
"Okay, everybody!" Joy announced. “Today's a big day for the people of Arendelle, and I want them all looking their happiest!"
“Joy, I know this means a lot to Elsa, but... you know it's just a party, right?" Sadness said timidly. “What if no one wants to come?"
“Sadness, don't be silly!" Joy assured the blue Emotion. “Who doesn't love a great, big Christmas party? Now let's get Elsa in the perfect holiday outfit."
“Already on it, Joy!" Disgust replied. “It's a little something of my own design."
The rest of the Emotions looked through the POV monitor and saw Elsa looking in her mirror, wearing a sparkling, navy gown with a translucent ice cape.
“Disgust, do you mind if I add a little something?" Joy asked. “Not that I don't love your design, because I do, but I have an idea."
“Sure, go ahead," Disgust answered. Joy then inserted an idea into the control console which Elsa received.
The Snow Queen then took out a piece of ermine and wrapped it around her shoulders. Then, she plucked a bit of evergreen from a wreath and tucked it in her braided hair.
“Nice one, Joy," Fear complimented.
“Thank you," she replied, smiling sweetly to her purple companion.
Suddenly, Elsa heard voices coming from downstairs.
“Surprise!"
“Not yet, Olaf!"
“Sounds like someone else we know is excited for the holiday, too," Anger pointed out.

Elsa gracefully made her way down the stairs and into the ballroom as Olaf the snowman popped out of a cake and into Princess Anna's arms.
“Surprise!"
“Olaf! Not yet!"
Joy laughed. “He's hilarious!"
“Anna's right. Our surprise holiday party doesn't start until after the Yule Bell rings."
“Sorry, the suspense is tearing me apart."
Anna put Olaf down and reattached his head to his body.
“I'm excited, too, Olaf. This is Arendelle's first Christmas in forever."
“The first of many to come."
“Elsa, look! They're arriving!"
Yes, this was the first Christmas in thirteen years Elsa would get to celebrate with her little sister, Anna. The orange-haired Princess of Arendelle was too little to remember their first Christmases together, but Elsa remembered and she missed them terribly. Which was what made this year extra special.

The two sisters and snowman made their way into the courtyard, where all the townsfolk were waiting for the Yule Bell to ring.
“Hey, it's Kristoff and Sven... And the Yule Bell! Why am I so excited about that?"
“Olaf, the Yule Bell signals the start of the holidays in Arendelle."
“Guys, you gotta admit, Kristoff's better looking when he's not dressed like a smelly reindeer," Disgust pointed out. “I still don't think he's right for Anna, though."
“She's done way worse," Anger reminded her.
Once the clock hit noon, Anna and Elsa rang the bell together, starting the holiday season.
“Let the holidays begin!"
The royal sisters had the castle doors opened and gave Olaf the signal.
“Okay, now!"
“Surprise!"
The trio turned around and saw... everyone heading out the gates. Anna tried to stop them, but they said they had to get home for their family traditions. Eventually, the last villagers in the courtyard were an elderly couple.
“Oh, Mr. and Mrs. Olsen! You're welcome to join us in the castle, if you'd like."
“Thank you, Your Majesty. But Olga and I should be getting home to knit socks for our grandchildren."
“Aww, that's nice," Sadness said softly.
“It's our tradition."
“Yes, and we wouldn't want to intrude on your family traditions."
“Traditions?" Fear repeated. “What traditions? Do we even have any?"
“Oh! So the surprise is everyone left."
“This is embarrassing," Disgust groaned.
“Hey, I say it's their loss. Who needs a big party, anyway?"
“What the heck is he doing?" Anger asked, bewildered.
“I've got just the thing to cheer you up. My favorite traditional troll... tradition. Care to join in?"
“Uh, yeah!"
“This cannot be pretty," Disgust predicted.
“Come on, guys!" Joy said. “We gotta give him a chance to try."
“Okay. It starts with a gathering song, ‘The Ballad Of Flemmingrad.'"
“I love ballads!"

They gave Kristoff a chance, he tried, and Disgust got the last laugh... or in her case, gag.
“Now you lick his forehead and make a wish!"
Anna wore a fake smile as her boyfriend licked the Fungus Troll sculpture's forehead. Elsa just wore a face of horror.
“Oh, I'm gonna be sick!" Disgust wretched.
“Who's next?"
“Elsa, you're up!"
Disgust pushed a few buttons on the console, causing Elsa to slightly gag, and ran off to puke somewhere.
“Come on! Tastes like lichen!"
Olaf leaned close to Anna and whispered...
“You're a princess. You don't have to settle."
“He has a point," Fear agreed.
“Okay. Not so much your royal activity. I get it. But, wait until you taste my traditional Flemmy Stew. It may smell like wet fur, but it's a real crowd pleaser."
“If it smells like wet fur, I don't want to know what it tastes like," Anger decided, about to press a button before Joy beat him to it.
“Oh, thanks. We're good!"
“Big breakfast."
Disgust returned wiping her face with a purple handkerchief.
“Sorry about that," she sighed. “Did I miss anything."
“Oh, nothing important," Joy answered quickly.

For those of you who are hoping for my third book with Poppy's daughter, Flower... I decided I'll do it. I'm just gonna write this first.

Inside Elsa is probably one of my best reviewed fanfics, and I'd like to thank all my readers. I hope you guys enjoy book three. It's longer than book two, but not as eventful as book one.
