Margo POV:

I rolled over in my bed, checking the time on the alarm clock.

1:34am.

Okay, everyone should be asleep by now.

I looked over to the other side of the room, making sure Toga was asleep in her bed.

Sure enough, there she was....sleeping like a baby. A demon baby, that is.

I carefully climbed out of my bed, tip toeing across the room that Toga and I shared.

This is what I was waiting for. Everyone needed to be asleep, so I could go talk to Bakugou.

I was still in my villain costume, from earlier. I simply slipped my mask back on.

I double checked Toga, one more time, before I quickly left the room.

I swiftly walked through the league of villains headquarters, my heartbeat picking up every time I passed another person's room.

I couldn't say I wasn't stressed. If anyone caught me going to see Bakugou...I would most likely be killed.

I held my breath, as I passed Dabi's room....then Shigaraki's. I was trying to be as quiet as I possibly could.

I let out a silent sigh of relief upon making it past Shigaraki's room, passing the last bedroom.

I opened the door to the room Bakugou was being kept in, seeing his slumped head.

He was still pretending he was asleep. He was definitely dedicated.

I slowly walked over to him now, kneeling in front of him.

"You can cut the shit now. We both know you're not really asleep." I mumbled to him, manipulating his hearing so he didn't recognize my voice.

Even though I was going to help him, I was still a little hesitant to give him my real identity.

I couldn't say I fully trusted my own fate in Bakugou's explosive hands.

He immediately opened his crimson orbs, slowly lifting his head to meet my gaze.

He glared at me, dark circles starting to consume the space under his eyes.

"Start talking." He seethed out, adjusting in his seat.

I rolled my eyes at his irritating behavior.

"Seriously? I'm risking my life for you right now. You could be a little bit nicer, you know." I scoffed lightly.

"Enough with the bullshit small talk. Tell me why you're here. Tell me why you're doing this." Bakugou called out, trying to keep his voice down.

I sighed softly, debating on how to proceed with this conversation.

"I'm gonna help you get out of here." I simply said to him, reaching into my pocket for something.

"Hah. Yeah right. This is probably all just a big set up." He retorted, watching me reach into my pocket.

I pulled out a set of keys now, dangling them in front of his face.

Bakugou's glare contorted into slight surprise when he saw the keys.

"Not a set up. These keys unlock your handcuffs. I stole them from Shigaraki a little while ago." I told him, reaching for my earring earpiece again.

"Come in. Anybody there?" I asked desperately into my earpiece.

I began pacing the room, trying to get a signal.

All I heard was static.

I didn't just want to let Bakugou escape blindly from the league of villains. I wanted someone, preferably Aizawa, to be there to pick him up and bring him to safety.

"Who the hell are you talking to?" Bakugou asked, more confused than angry at this point.

"Look. I want to let you go, but you're really deep into villain territory right now. I need to make sure someone is there to pick you up, once I let you escape." I explained, desperately trying to get a signal.

This could be his only chance to escape.

But, of course....Bakugou being Bakugou...he was still extremely paranoid and suspicious of this whole situation.

"I still think you're full of shit. I don't need your fucking help escaping from here. You'll let me escape from here, only to be met with guys even worse than this once I get free, right? I know this is a set up. Just get out of here already." He scoffed dismissively.

I was quiet, trying to decide what I should do.

This plan could only work if Bakugou trusted me. If he continued acting this way, we would both end up dead by morning.

There was only one thing left I could think of to make him trust me.

This thing would either make him trust me, or make him never trust me.

But, it was the only thing left I could think of.

I turned off my quirk, no longer manipulating his hearing.

"It's not a set up." I said clearly, using my real voice now.

Bakugou's eyes narrowed slightly, as he heard my voice.

"What the hell happened to your voice?" He mumbled, trying to hide his confusion from this situation.

I turned to him now, slowly walking over to him.

"Bakugou, I'm asking you to put your trust in me. I promise you, I'm going to do my best to get you out of here." I said, kneeling in front of him again.

He furrowed his brows in concentration now, as he listened to my words.

I could tell my voice was starting to become familiar to him now.

He was about to speak again, before I cut him off, lifting my gloved hand to my mask.

Well, here goes nothing.

I slowly peeled the mask off my face, revealing my identity to Bakugou.

For the first time, he was speechless.

His eyes widened in pure shock, upon seeing who I really was.

"I'm going to help you." I uttered to him, seeing his eyes going wild as he studied my face and my costume.

I was quiet for a moment, letting him get his thoughts together.

"F-Flat Chest?!" He asked in shock.

I shot him an irritated glare at his words.

"Seriously?" I retorted, quickly walking around the room as I tried to get reception to Aizawa again.

"Oi, why do you keep walking around the room talking to yourself? And damn—Flat Chest!? It's really you, huh!? You're the USJ villain?! You didn't really beat me at the USJ, you know! I've improved since then! I would kick your ass now!! Fuck, I swear when I get out of here, you're dead to me. You dumb bitch. Idiot. Moron. Did ya really think I wouldn't find out!? You stupid fucking extra—" Bakugou started spewing, as he began understanding the situation now.

I quickly walked over to him, slapping my hand over his mouth to shut him up.

"I know how this looks, alright!? But listen, I switched sides. I've been working with Mr. Aizawa for the past month now, to take down the league of villains." I rapidly explained, trying to catch Bakugou up as fast as I could.

Bakugou's eyes narrowed, making me think he was actually listening to me. Until....

"What the hell is in your face? You didn't have all those piercings before. And with all of that fucking eye makeup on, you look like the poster child for shitty Hot Topic—" Bakugou sneered, already picking apart everything about me again.

As much as I was completely irritated with him right now, this was actually a good sign.

He was already treating me how he normally does, despite knowing my identity now.

"—can you please focus!? And besides, don't act like you don't shop at Hot Topic yourself, you explosive moron." I hissed at him, grabbing the keys to unlock his handcuffs.

I hesitated slightly, not having a clear plan.

"Look, Bakugou. I've been trying to get ahold of Mr. Aizawa for hours. I can't get reception to him. So....that means, you and I are on our own for your escape." I explained, trying to get through to him one last time.

He simply glared at me, waiting for me to continue.

"Here's the plan. I'm going to unlock your handcuffs. Then, I'm going to escort you out of the villain territory, back into the main city. From there, you'll know where to go. You'll be safe—"

"—how many times do I have to tell you. I don't need your damn help!! Unlock me and I'll find my own way, you shitty flat chested bitch—"

"—no!! You don't know where you are! Navigating villain territory is a complete maze. You'll never make it out of here alive without my help." I desperately explained to him, looking at my watch again.

I turned to him now, slightly starting to panic that this plan wouldn't work.

"Bakugou. Please. Please, for once in your life, just trust me. Let me help you. Then, I promise you never have to talk to me again." I said, looking for any signs of agreement from him.

He grit his teeth in frustration, quiet for a moment as he weighed his options.

I know it was pure torture for Bakugou, accepting my help. This was probably a hard decision for him.

"Fine. Let's do it." He simply muttered, giving me a small nod of approval.

I shot him a quick reassuring smile, before I unlocked his handcuffs now.

He quickly stood up, stretching his back from sitting for hours.

"Alright, Flat Chest. What's next?" Bakugou mumbled, casually walking around the room, snooping through the villains' stuff.

"First things first....stop calling me that. Forever. Secondly, We need to go now, while everyone's asleep. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get any communication from Aizawa. So, he won't know you're coming. But, if I can get you safely out of villain territory...you'll be able to find the rest of the way." I explained to Bakugou, realizing how dangerous this plan was.

But, it was more dangerous for him to stay here. Shigaraki didn't seem too happy about having him here. Bakugou could become a Nomu by morning if I didn't get him out of here now.

Bakugou thought about the plan for a moment. As much as he didn't want to admit, I could tell he was thinking about how dangerous and risky this was.

I watched him slightly shake his head to clear away the thoughts of fear, before he turned to me now.

"So, what are we still doing here? Let's get a move on." He grumbled roughly, nodding for us to go.

I sighed in anxiety, quickly controlling my own breathing and fear.

"Alright, let's do it." I said matter of factly, opening the door to the room.

No turning back now—

"Margo? Margo, can you hear me?" I suddenly heard from my earpiece, over the sound of crackling static.

I immediately gasped, stopping in my tracks abruptly.

Bakugou ran into me, due to my quick stop.

"What the hell is the big idea—"

"—Aizawa!! Mr. Aizawa! Can you hear me??" I quickly said, shoving my hand over Bakugou's mouth to shut him up. Again.

I heard a nervous chuckle from the other side of the earpiece, immediately recognizing who it was.

Great. My stress just spiked to a whole new level now.

"Well, not Mr. Aizawa. But, we're here to help you. Got a plan?" Eijirou asked from the other side of the line.

Oh boy, this just got more interesting.
