I woke up with a start to see Bill next to me. "Bill..."

"Yes?" He says, snuggling his head in my hair.

"I had this dream that- that there was another version of me. And everything is a story she wrote, and she was born mute, and Tad's actually alive, and-"

"Princess," he cuts me off. "It's okay. That was just a dream- dreams hardly ever mean anything. But," and this he says with a smirk, "I'm glad you're finally talking to me about your dreams. Is this the kind of 'scary' dream you've been having as of late?"

     "No...not even close...this was the first night I haven't had a scary dream...it was just...weird."

"Well weird is better than scary, isn't it?" I shrug. He kisses my forehead then says, "Get dressed. I think we should go out today." He leaves me be while I search for a suitable outfit. I hop down the stairs to see him shirtless, wearing only his jeans.

"Not gonna wear your shoes?" I ask, pecking his lips.

"I guess I might as well..." He does as he says, then looks at me. "You like my outfit for the day?"

"You're going to be getting a lot of attention in that getup, mister. I like it, but I'm afraid other girls will like it a bit...too much."

"You're the only girl I care about," he whispers, leaning close, lips grazing my ear. "Don't be getting too jealous.~" He takes me by the hand and we head outside.

"So where are we going?" I ask.

"No clue. I just thought we could use some time outside the house. Don't you get bored of sitting around the house with nothing to do but look at each other?"

"We don't just look at each other. You know what all goes on in that house."

"Suggesting something there?"

I shrug. "Maybe, but that's not the point. I'm starving and I really want to eat a plate of pancakes that weighs more than I do."

"That sounds great, but you're going to have to share with your favorite guy in the world~"

"Dipper?" I joke.

"No, me! I can't believe I'm not your favorite!"

"You are my favorite, baka. But you probably won't be allowed in the restaurant like...that."

"Do you really think that it matters what I wear to Greasy's Diner? Good god, the employees could dress like this and no one would care."

I shrug. "Good point." We walk in together when suddenly, I get a strange feeling in my stomach. "Something's wrong..." Bill looks at me in confusion when we sit down.

"What is it?"

"I..." Visions cross my mind of Tad in a different dimension, and I know it's him even though he's in a different form. From behind, he just looks like a typical blond guy, nothing out of the ordinary. But then I see him turn around, and notice that he's a carbon copy of Bill, except for his eyes. "Wh-what?"

"Babe? You okay?"

"Oy! None of this makes sense!" I put my head in my hands to be treated to more visions. Flashes of Tad with me, things that haven't happened but I know they will soon enough, horrible things Tad will do if he gets a hold of me. "No..." A druglord shoots him and Bill as well. "This can't...no...."

"What is going on?" I shout. Then, I remember everything. How did I forget? How did he forget??? How was I talking????

"I didn't forget a thing," Bill says. "I've been waiting for you to remember."

I don't understand any of this.

"Believe me, you're not the only one. I doubt any of the readers are getting much of this either."

Way to break the fourth wall again...second time, two chapters in a row...

He shrugs. "What can I say? I'm a master of breaking things...like hearts, for example."

Please. You're hardly a heartbreaker. I think dork is a better word... He looks offended. But you're my dork. I kiss his cheek as he smiles goofily.

"Technically, I'm not your dork. I belong to a variant of you."

I bloody created her, Bill! That means you belong to me just as much as you belong to her.

"Whatever you say, princess. You sound jealous though, so it's kind of hard to take you seriously~"

Shut up.  He chuckled. Why was I able to talk then but I'm not now?

"Have you ever tried to talk? Maybe it's like a mental thing. Like, you got used to not talking so you just assume you can't?"

You think I haven't tried talking?

"I don't know what you do when we're not together!"

I've never been with you before.

"Yeah, well...I don't know what you do in your free time."

     Obviously.

"Anyway, enough random, useless talk. When do you think Tad will enter our wonderful little world again?"

Any moment now...he's scheduled to walk in any minute now...
