Look at the horizon.

Look at the ocean.
Look at the rivers.
The valleys.
The skies.
The stars.
You want more than anything to go to the ends of the earth.
Is this a free spirit?

Trapped in reality, you can only look at what You cannot have.
Gaze at the mountains, spirit.
Long for it.
Long to touch the clouds that hang just out of reach.
Look at the sky, blue one moment and black the next,
Over and over, as time passes you by faster than you can draw a breath.
Wonder where you would be if only you could leave reality.
You are a spirit, free but trapped.
Look to the heavens, take a deep breath.
And continue through your trek through this world, not daunted.
But once and a while, my free spirit, take a look at the skies.
Gaze from the edge of the ocean.
Wonder what is beyond your bounds.
Wonder about the world outside of your reality.
