Backstory: Heidi grew up in Montreal, to an Israeli mother and Indian father. She has four brothers, all older than her. She went to a community college in Montreal to start her degree and met Brendan in a coffee shop. The two were together for two years until Brendan proposed when she was 23 and turned him down when she said she wasn't the "marrying type." Heartbroken, Brendan dumped her and she moved to Toronto, finishing her education. She works at a Toronto hospital as a dietitian as well as a substance abuse counselor occasionally. She met Freddie through mutual friends and have been with him for a little over three years.
