I would start this with the story that came to my mind the second I found that emoji.

Now look at this.

They both hated each other, then one day, the guy parents told him he had to marry the girl to 'save the family company' {this is another scene I see too much} and well, he approached the girl, but like expected, she flips him off and I was like, ok, good story.

Work time comes to an end and she was about to go home only to have this guy 'abduct' her and brings her to his house, all he did was touch her body small and proceeded to make love to her against her wish[since he was trying to form 'Daddy'] and then they were in love.

Now, the author had made it very clear how this two hated each other. This guy kidnapped her and since it was against her wish, he raped her, I don't care if she enjoyed the rape, rape is rape and she fell in love with him?

Are you mad? Ok, I am sorry, let me not insult even though I really want to 😑

The thing that puts me off is when it happens too fast, and it happens to the two most cliche people.

Q: What do you mean by two most cliche people?
A: New girl and popular guy.
    Good girl and Bad boy.
     Billionaire and new secretary.
    The bully and the bullied.
    New boy in town and girl who is never noticed.
    Alpha and Luna 👀 No? Well, yes for me.

I feel, if you're going to bring this, you should at least make their union special, make it different.

My friend, her name is Favour, but I call her Bomby because she has big buttocks. She has been reading on Wattpad like for a year now, she came over to see me when I was trying to write a new chapter of my book and we somehow got into the discussion of a book she had just read, she said

“I just finished reading the book when Wattpad recommended another for me, the description of the story were almost the exact same thing, not just that, it was like I was reading the previous book I had just finished.”

And I won't blame her, I sometimes feel that way when I read 'werewolf' books. Because it's the same thing over and over again, Alpha and Luna drama.

Here are the major things that makes most romance story here on Wattpad.
i. Ex-girlfriends
ii. Ex-boyfriends
iii. Ex-wife

Ex, Ex and Ex, because it's always things from their past bringing the drama.

One other thing I am tired of seeing is Ex's.

Now, every writer is bringing an ex-girlfriend to a story that I wonder if you can still make your story interesting without her, because she's actually the one bringing most of the drama.

Also, why does she have to be mean? rude? Why can't she move on? Why do you make her be a slut? Why the fuck can't we have a good ex-girlfriend?

In reality, how many times have your boyfriend's ex-girlfriend come to attack you? Does she even know you exist? If she does, is she actually rude to you? 🤷

I think y'all need to take it easy on this girls.

Also, the characters have such similar personalities. This is what romance main characters are like; you see a crowd of hundreds of people, different people, but they are all wearing the exact same white shirt.

I want something different, give me a green shirt, navy blue. I am not saying a main male lead cannot be the leader of a Mafia gang or a billionaire, I am saying if they are to be, make them different from the regular Mafia or billionaires you see around.

They don't always have to be at the top to stand out, it's not their position or financial status that makes them interesting, rather their personalities.

Make your characters personalities, your characters personalities. The same way you do this, make your romance different from Mr A romance story.

Mary doesn't always have to marry Matthew because she wants to save the family's business.

Elena doesn't always have to fall in love with the same Mafia man that kidnapped her. [Have you met Mafia men? They are really different from the way they are being described in books. If they kidnapped you to kill you, they surely aren't going to fall in love with you.]

Damon doesn't always have to fall in love with the new girl, what about the girls that have been in the school for ages? They are beautiful too.

If these things are actually going to happen, it has to be for a better reason than because they are beautiful or "there is something about you, you're different." please, stop using that line.
