Breaking open the plastic wrap felt like diffusing a time bomb.

Somehow this told me, I was near and I am not going to run around like a chicken head anymore.

The plastic wrap was a hard one that sealed the paper inside safely. As I ripped out the last insulation tape from it, I felt my heart literally beat in anticipation.

The note which was a paper, obviously, was the size of a small note. To my frustration, it simply read, "THANK YOU" in bold thick print. I was so ready to rip anything apart from when I felt the light of my table lamb that there was some shiny glistening on the paper. Since the paper was little thick, I got an idea.

When we were young, Tom and I used to write secret messages and pass it around discreetly and had a good laugh behind my enemies; exactly, by mocking them. Tiffany was my inspiration.

Reminding me of that, I ran to retrieve my hair dryer, set it on the heat and warmed up the paper. Then, with the glitter that I knew was somewhere in my craft box, I put them on it and viola, the glitter stuck to the letter.

I knew it, you are... awesome girl. Wasn't this a nice game?

It was trickier since I thought you will rip this into shreds and that will get everything into the avalanche. Don't bother asking how you or I know about this secret message. I have seen you do this with Tom all the time when you were young.

Oops, did I say that aloud? Well, yes... I am always around you.

On the next full moon, ask Stephen to take you to St.Dominic cliffs. Make sure he leaves and you are alone. There will be a trail to the back of the cliff where you will find a clearing in front of the cliff wall. Just tap around in front of the clearing, to activate the panel and type in your birthday. It will open and you can enter.

There! This is your final clue. Breathe...

P.S at all times; be cautious of an incessant beep which is a warning. When the beep accumulates to constant ringing; run!

Do you think I have some other clue or help to make understand this damn cryptic note? Nope! I was standing in the final stage of hopscotch with no chance of survival. With my logic, I think she asked me to run out through the door to safety. What if I forgot the passage? What was that ring thing she said? What could possibly go wrong?

Boom!

A loud cracking voice alerted me completely from my own questionnaire. Good thing I was still in my jeans and tank top. Stuffing the note into my back pocket, I opened the door to find Simon rushed to me, stuffing a pistol into my hands, asking me to save Tiffany and Evelyn. Confused, I stood around and looked the hallway up and down to find the screams of Tiffany oozing from downstairs.

Adrenalin shot up as I ran through the hallway and reached the stairway. I was astonished to find five men clad in black terrorizing the women with no sign of the men in this house. Looking at Evelyn, she looked poised and calm but Tiffany was whimpering and screaming like a scared cat.

Well, I can't blame that painted Barbie. She wouldn't break a sweat, but break her nail; she is your mama cat.

The masked men wore a disguise and their voice felt robotic.

"Where is Lillian Liana Parker?"

Because Tiffany was dead scared, she couldn't open her mouth. However, Evelyn was doing a good job in masking her fear, she said, "We don't have her here. You should ask Tom."

The man who asked her slapped Evelyn on her cheek as another man grabbed skimpy looking Tiffany's breast. Enraged, I looked at my pistol; thank goodness it had a silencer on it. Too bad, like the taste in cars; I had a taste in guns but couldn't for the life of me, remember any of its names.

I wasn't a killer and I am not sure why Simon even bothered to give me a gun and run away. But, I didn't have time to think. I raised my hands and shot the guy who was grabbing Tiffany's face on his right thigh. It was a series of happening then. They raised their gun and good thing they had heavy duty bulletproof on. However, one shot amiss; and I shot a guy too close to his neck. His gurgling muttering sends chills down my spine.

Suddenly a cold metal hit my neck and asked me to descend the stairs nice and easy.

I did without leaving my gun. The man who was gurgling on the ground was taken away but instead, there was another man. The guy on my back pushed me in front and suddenly seeing me with a gun made Tiffany run to me. However, Evelyn smiled and said, "I am sorry boys, I didn't think she was here to wreck havoc in my house. Take her away."

I quickly pushed Tiffany in front and used her as leverage to jump and flip backward to stomp the guy in my back to the ground. When he was down, I kneeled down and landed the kick to the back of his neck, instantly knocking him down. Tiffany fell from the force. Suddenly a guy raised his gun but it was thrown away by Evelyn's kick.

Another masked guy charged towards Evelyn. Since Tiffany was still in front of me again, after she got up, and stronger than I expected, I used her again to raise myself higher and rotate kick the guy on his head. And using him I rotated and kicked another guy on the ground. Just as I was about to rise and kick back the last guy standing, I was knocked down by someone in the back.

Before I could blackout, I heard someone screaming, "What did you do Evelyn." I think it was Tiffany.

Opening my eyes, it felt heavy and tired. Yet, I got up feeling too damn hungry. Evelyn was sitting in front of me, crying. As I got up, she charged towards me with millions of apology sent my way, "It was a mistake. I was aiming the guy in front of you, but it hit you. I am sorry. Please, forgive me..."

"Um, I don't remember anything." I lied. I didn't want to talk to this lady now. She seemed suspicious to me. Come to think of it; there was no guy in front of me, I was on my knee after the super rotate kick. As I got up, bang! I don't think Evelyn is saying the truth. Anyway, I thanked my luck to find Stephen by my bed. He ushered I am fine and asked her to leave.

Groggily, I asked for water and he gave me orange juice. I smiled and drank the semi-sweet, tangy orange juice feeling better than before.

"You added too much pepper."

"I was trying to kick you awake. What did you think you were doing, being the savior and all? Thank God, Simon's message got to us in the right time. Sam saw Evelyn bang you with a vase." Stephen was whispering into my face.

"I don't trust that woman. She can say all she wants. But I do not trust her."

"Me either, after what Sam said to me. And I wonder where Simon is?"

As we were talking, Tiffany knocked and entered my room. She walked to me and stood there uneasily. Stephen snapped at her "why are you here?", but she didn't flinch in anger or attitude, she just stared at him and then to me. "I am grateful that you saved me from that creep. I am grateful that you saved my life. I am... sorry, but..."

"It's fine." At this point, everyone is a fraud. Everyone is playing some sort of game I am not aware of. They are not telling me much.

"You can leave, she needs rest." Stephen plainly said it, looking at me with the same thought I just had and I returned it. I watched her leave my room.

"What was in the note? Was it the last note?"

"Yes. My last clue; she asked you to take me to that St.DominicCliffside."

"What? It's too risky and dangerous."

"Well, that is where I am to go. Besides, there is some opening in the wall I guess. I don't have to climb the steep cliff."

"No, Lily, the cliff is rocky and dangerous. There was a report that it might collapse soon into the beach side."

"I don't know Stephen. I should go there and end this, for once and for all. If something happens inside the cliff, let it happen. That would be too good."

"I will give you a nice beating now. Stop rambling stupidity. Come on now, breakfast should be ready by now."

"Alright," I said as I climbed down the bed, feeling dizzy. Stephen supported my weight as I walked down finally feeling quite alright.

"Come in, come in..." Tom greeted me warmly as he sat with the breakfast team. Tiffany was silent. Simon was missing. Sam frowned upon Evelyn and Tom. Shaun was seated at the table but I preferred to smile at him and sit with Stephen. It did disappoint Shaun but that didn't let him frown at me. He still stole glances at me and smiled whenever I caught him.

Breakfast was a feast; at least considering normal breakfast in Parker's. Scrambled eggs, brown bread, orange juice, salad, pancakes, bacon, sausages, chicken breast, and fruits; adorned the table beautifying it. However, it looked dull and bore without Tiffany's accusation and Sam's pompous talk. Something felt wrong in the way Evelyn kept quite around Tom's absurd talk.

Stephen and I were in our own world, gulping down food for two people easily. It felt good to be eating freely and not the only food that was served for a fixed amount of money. Annalisa was ready for me to be serving my favorite rice chia pudding.

To be honest, I am not into this stylish healthy organic eating of Evelyn or the rest of my family, but something about this pudding that Annalisa makes made it scrumptious. Stephen opted for ice cream; his personal favorite. That boy could eat tubs and never feel full.

After breakfast, I knew Shaun was about to ask me out as he was excusing himself from Tom's company but I beat to it and went in search of Stephen to his room and asked if he could come with me for some shopping. Though he hates it, seeing Shaun waiting for our meeting to end, he realized and thus, he agreed.

I pulled on a grey tank top, dark blue jeans, white jean jacket, and my favorite wore out black knee-length boots that I haven't worn in ages. I left my long hair down and walked out with my phone and purse.

Stephen was already waiting for me in his blue Maserati looking dangerous.

"Oh, come on, I am sorry, I had to do that. At this point, I only trust you. Don't make me regret that."

"Now, don't you guilt treat me, trust me or not; I don't want to be with you 'shopping' for more than an hour."

"Hello. Are you this dumb? Who needs to shop?"

"Then?" he looked at me puzzled.

"Movies, anywhere, or someplace where it will be better for me to be alone," I breathed to the window, watching it condense, blurring my view to the outside world.

"Ah, movies it is then. I heard some new action movie was released. I hadn't got the time to watch it. Wanna go?"

"Sure."

Stephen accelerated to the biggest mall that had everything in its hands. There was three multiplex cinema in there and pretty much even hormonal teenagers used this mall to blend in and fuc*. Stephen was chatting with me all the while, making it least boring for me but still, I was in Neverland with my head in a blender.

I stopped him midsentence talking about some cars, "When is the next full moon?"

"How am I supposed to know? Have you been listening to what I was even saying?"

"Sorry, no... I want to know when the full moon is; I have to go there by that time."

"You mean, the Cliffside?"

"Yes."

"Christ, why do even want to go there on a full moon?"

"Maybe, to light my way naturally; using lights could throw us off to the hounds."

"Lily... uh,"

I could hear the reluctance in his voice, but I didn't dare look at him. I couldn't just bother to argue right now.

Stephen found a parking lot easily and I got out feeling much more normal than before. Just like a normal girl, out to have fun. Stephen joined my hands and we walked to the entrance earning too many stares of all types; there were jealousy, lust, pride, flirt, curious, umm, you pick.

Somehow this was really entertaining than cooping in my four bedroom walls.

While I was walking into the cinema, I saw a beautiful black floor length dress which was absolutely ravishing. I have never felt smitten to a dress before. This one was tulle, lace, and just everything but completely black, floor length and sophisticated. I dragged Stephen inside the boutique earning a full-on groan. He sobered up quickly but I wasn't surprised since the place was packed with only girls. An assistant in a pristine white suit walked with her ruby lips wide in a cheery grin.

"Hello, how can I help you?"

"I want to try that one." I pointed at the black one on the display and her eyes widened.

"Umm, that is one of a kind celebrity dress which comes with a tag of pretty numbers." What does she think, I am donkey head? She looked at me up and down and sighed unsurely.

"And you suggest I can't digest few pretty numbers?" I challenged.

"Umm, it comes with a five-digit in its tag and girls leave it; eyeing it with all their heart. No one worthy of it has ever graced my boutique yet and it was there for about a month."

"Too bad, I was aiming for something six digits. I guess you don't have any in that grade, do you?"

Her eyes were round like saucers and our conversation was the entertainment for everyone else in the shop. Stephen stifled a laugh with a cough making other girls eye twinkle. But, this woman has seriously changed into the color of her lips and I loved it. She shouldn't have played with me.

"I am sorry, we do have few priced possession in the back cabin if you will please let me escort you," she said quickly looking away from where the so-called cabin must be.

"I don't need your escort. Just get me that black beauty."

"Right away, please be seated sir and you, Allie, take her to the dressing room." She then scurried off to take the mannequin out and give me the dress without eyeing anyone.

After not too long, she came in with the dress muttering a sorry and the girl named Allie helped me put on the dress. I have no idea, why I even tried this one or insisted that I wanted this. But, I did and I loved it. I didn't remove my boot, so I walked out in the dress with my hair down making Stephen drop his jaw. I felt like I was walking a ramp. To my surprise, everyone in the shop rushed and gushed how beautiful I look and how beautiful the dress looked.

I asked her to pack this and she was more than happy to get the transfer done. Luckily, there wasn't one wrong bone in the shop to have screeched with jealousy. I smiled politely at the manager and walked out. But before leaving, the manager once again apologized. I ignored it.

"What you did was amazing. She should have rubbed her face on cement." Stephen said.

I laughed. "I was like, being slapped when she said that. What did she think?"

"That you look too cheap to buy that."

"Shut up, for once I wasn't wearing cheap."

"And you are saying... this tank top and this bag are pricey?"

"Umm, but my boots and jacket cost a sum together." I was looking at Stephen and arguing to make a point when my eyes spotted a plaid scarf on a mannequin. Without one more word, I pulled him inside and bought the scarf. I just adorned that with my outfit and it matched, making me look more glamorous.

"And I thought you didn't wear girly clothes and hated girly things."

"I did to a point where I realized that being a girl and spending time like one should be considered the best and be grateful for."

"Life treats you wisely and makes you learn lessons."

"Indeed!"

"I am hungry, let's go have something."

"I am ready."
