appearance :: witheredleaf is a very thin, long limbed, black she cat. her ribs are visible. her fur is a matted, mangy and curly short black with some spots thicker than others from hair loss. her eyes are narrowed and a deep green. her ears are tall and pointed with nicks from battles.

personality :: witheredleaf is a very angry female. her traumatic childhood causes her to be explosive and harsh. however, most of the time she is able to contain this and most likely comes off as stern and reserved. she has no interest in kits or a mate, and believes but is happy with dying alone. [ nani? ] her personality is very bleak and she is numb to most things. no news really excites her.

i would normally tell you to make her not wholly negative and stuff, but you mentioned that she gets a character arc- this is just the before phase. still, i'd like to see more of what she becomes so she's not so flat, but i'm not going to penalize it too much knowing that there's more to her? but maybe i should since i have to judge based on what i see

i had to do some googling here, and apparently it's not impossible for a random bred cat to have curly fur- just don't add any more because i seriously doubt it's a common occurrence

backstory :: t/w neglect and self harm

her mother had high expectations from her since birth. she was always supposed to do everything perfectly. when she didn't, she was considered lousy and lazy and wasn't spoken to or taken care of by her mother or father. witheredleaf developed extreme anxiety. she didn't say anything to her mother or father, instead would have panic attack episodes and tear out her own fur at times. when her mother and father both died from old age she was finally able to be at peace from the constant needing but the anxiety remains with her.
