I watch as the city was filled with noises. The "cars" that zip past every black path. The strange tall creatures having conversations together, the tiny ones blabbering complaints to their parents. Everything was going perfectly well. I just come walking around here with my brother in the town, searching for puddles to drink in and scraps of chicken by some food places. But this day, after a nice, long meal, something happens. Something dreadful.

I felt my neck fur fluff up and my heart raced. Same with my brother. I could smell his fear. A few heartbeats later, there was a loud howling, and then, more filled the buildings. What was going on? Whatever it was, it was a major disaster! "Brother, come on! We need to head back home quick!" I yowled, grabbing the furry kit by the scruff and running past every car and tall creatures. The creatures panicked too. They ran to find the highest hill and take shelter there. I ran with them, trying to find the way out of the city. It was too late. There was the roar of a large wave, and it crashed down on everyone. The wave was bigger then the tall shelters! Freezing water engulfed me and my brother as I gripped his scruff tightly and I began to run underwater. My lungs screamed as I held my breath for many heartbeats. Finally, I broke through the surface and pushed against the torrent. More creatures, some with orange puffy pads on their chest, some with water riders. Some of them saw us and tried to come grab us, but the others didn't let them, not when the place was flooded. Some creatures pushed their water riders towards us, trying to help us, but all of a sudden, the current got too strong, and we were pushed back. Debris whisked past us. As I tried to find shallow land above water, I whacked my hindleg on a large, flat stone. A pain, shaper than claws on my neck, struck my leg. My brother squealed as blood gushed from his hind leg, somehow. I swam to the top of a tall shelter, laying my precious brother there. "Go! Cry for--" I was cut off by a bit of glass. It flew straight into my eye right eye. I screeched so loud that the creatures in the water rider immediately swam to us. The pain was too intense, I couldn't take it. The pain slowly began to eat at my brain. My limbs were exhausted, so they immediately stopped when I had to keep fighting the wave. I shut my pain-stricken eyes, letting the world disappear from my sight.
