chapter ten!

season 1, episode 10 - happily ever after!

Aurora's outfit!

TODAY WAS HALEY AND WILL'S WEDDING and Aurora was excited.  Her hair was in a high ponytail as she did her edges in the mirror when there was a knock on her bedroom door.  "Come in."

"Hey, honey.  We might want to start heading out soon.  We don't want to be late for the wedding."  her mother stated.  "I know, Mom.  I'll be down in a minute."  As the woman left the room, Aurora smiled to herself.  She couldn't wait to see Cole, especially what happened between them yesterday.  Hopefully, they'd talk it out at the wedding.

Aurora arrived in the backyard, noticing other guests arriving.  Cole noticed her and his jaw dropped.  She looked gorgeous, she always looked that way to him.  "Like what you see, seaweed brain?" she teased.  "I do, actually.  You look beautiful, sleeping beauty."

"You don't look too bad yourself, blondie.  Why are you guys wearing suspenders though?"  Cole rolled his eyes, "It was Will's idea, unfortunately.  Are you saying I'm ugly, princess?"

"No, blondie.  You look pretty handsome."  Cole smiled, his cheeks turning a slight red.  "Will you two get a room?" Issac asked, causing the two to look at him.  "We're just complimenting each other so relax, Issac." Cole answered.  Aurora laughed, making Cole's stomach erupt with butterflies.  She had the cutest laugh ever in his opinion and he liked the sound of it.  "Do you want to sit next to me?" the blonde asked.

"I was going to sit next to my parents, actually.  But I don't think they'd mind." she answered, walking next to him.

The wedding had eventually started as everyone stood up to see the bride walk down the aisle.  Haley looked so pretty in her wedding dress and it was really cute that she and Will were getting married.  As the priest said a few words, Aurora glanced at Cole.  She still couldn't believe that he liked her.  I mean, Cole Walter? A former jock and a guy all the kids at school wanted to be or be with? She found it crazy that he had a crush on her.

Little did she know that he felt the same way towards her.

FOOD WAS EVENTUALLY SERVED AS Aurora ate her meal.  She watched as Haley and Will danced, finding it adorable.  Cole noticed the look on Aurora's face, noting that he had to talk to her about what happened yesterday.

As guests got onto the dance floor to slow dance, Aurora smiled at her parents dancing, finding it cute that they've been together for years and still loved each other.  "Care to dance, princess?" a voice asked, causing her to look up.  "Sure, blondie." she answered as she took his hand.  The two were in the middle of the dance floor, waltzing.

"I want to talk about what happened yesterday.  I really like you and I wanted to ask you if you'd like to be my girlfriend."

"Wow, the Cole Walter is asking me to be his girlfriend? That's shocking."  Cole playfully rolled his eyes as he twirled her.  "So do you want to? Because if you don't, then I respect that."

"Of course I do, blondie.  I really like you too."  Cole smiled as he looked down at her lips, causing her to do the same.  "Do you really think we should kiss in front of my parents?"

"I saw them walk off the dance floor to talk to my parents.  I think we can."  Aurora's nose touched his as she kissed his lips.  Cole kissed back, closing his eyes.  The two eventually broke it, pressing their foreheads together.  "You're my girlfriend, Aurora Banks.  My Rory, my beautiful Rory."

"And you're my boyfriend, Cole Walter.  My Cole, my seaweed brain."

"You're never going to stop calling me that, are you?"

"Nope and you better get used to it, blondie."

"I think I will, sleeping beauty."

"You're going to call me that all the time, aren't you?"

"You know me so well, princess." Cole answered as he kissed her again.

So it was official.  Aurora was finally Cole's and he was finally her's.

Because she was always going to be his Rory and he would always be her Cole.

They're FINALLY together!! Everyone rejoice!!

I actually didn't expect this book to be finished so quickly 😭 like I'm going to miss them sm ☹️ I'll miss Aurora not Cole 💀 I don't care about that man

But they're so cute together ngl

I'm also going to miss writing Ned and Aurora's friendship like their the definition of platonic besties
