It was dark and full of shadows. Sloth looked around but she couldn't see something else. I have to figure out where I'm. She thought. It was silent but Sloth knew that there was something. Something that came to hurt her. To make her mad. To touch her. To control her. To DESTROY her. She could feel how any live came out of her body. She wanted to cry but it was already too late. Sloth closed her eyes and with once she could hear a voice. What's happening with me? Why are I doing that? I HAVE TO DESTROY HER! Now! Kill! Kill! Kill! Then Sloth felt how claws pinned her wings to the ground and...

"Sloth! Sloth wake up! You are SCARING me!" Sloth opened her eyes. She lied in a cave and a deep green Seawing was over her.

"YOU WAKED UP! We thought you would DIE. No! I thought that! But you was so creepy you cried! You scared ME! The daughter of TSUNAMI!"

I wish I scared you to the dead! "We didn't thought that!", snarled BlackIce. "Stop scaring HER!" River closed her mouth.

I don't want them thinking about that all the time. It's Problem enough that I have to figure out what that was! Probably a normal dream! It's not like I'm a Nightwing! But what if... "Uhm. I'm very hungry", Sloth said. I'm wondering if we have to catch our foot by our own.

"Good idea. The Sandwings just arrived a few hours ago", BlackIce answered. Where do she know? Was she up that early?

"Why do you know that? Do you saw it? IN A VISION?", River asked exited. "No. That's not how visions are working. I can't ASK for them and they are telling IMPORTANT things", BlackIce replied coldly.

That's actually what I thought about, too. Why do she know but not like THIS. "Let's Go. Maybe we are meeting Ripple", she started again.

"PLEASE!"

River just glanced at Sloth with sparkling eyes. Was is she thinking about? Only a few minutes later the three girls arrived at the cantine. Now the cave was even fuller then at the dinner! Now there were a few pale gold and sand- colored dragons too. They sat together in big groups, joking with each other.

Why has it to get even FULLER? Why can't it get emptier? "Do you see Ripple?", River asked. "N-No", she answered looking down at her claws again. "Let us search him!"

I wonder wich  Sandwing is in our Winglet! Hunter doesn't sounds that friendly but...

"Uhm. Hi. Do you...you...want something from my fish", a deep voice asked. Sloth looked up. It was Ripple! In his claws was a big, blue fish. "N-No thanks! I don't eat fish", she replied. He looked...hurt.

I'm so sorry! Should I say yes? But it's to late. Maybe next time. But I hate fish!  "It was the right thing",BlackIce whispered. Did she read my thoughts?

"And no I didn't just look at your face!" "Hi Sloth! Hi BlackIce!", somebody said. The both turned around. "Hi Dawn. Where is Madhead?", Sloth asked.

I'm very happy that he isn't here. He is creepy! What when he is scaring Ripple away or River. Last one wouldn't be that bad. But that's unfair, he is just...different.

"Oh he is in one of his courses", Dawn replied friendly. "Wh-what?", she said confused. "You asked where my brother is!" In that moment she could hear Tsunami's voice.

"Hey everybody! LISTEN! That's REALY important!", she shouted. "I wonder what can be so important that she's gathering every student in the cafeteria", BlackIce grumbled.

"In a few minutes Queen Glory will arrive together with her two kids!", Tsunami shouted. "And because I'M the head of the school, I have to make sure that NOBODY is rude to her while she is at Jade mountain academy do PLEASE be nice to her!" The other dragonets just nodded and some of them growled a "yes". "AND because the Sandwings traveled that long they can sleep now!", she ended.

The royal family? Maybe I can see Shadow there. If I'm right and  he's THE Shadowclaw.

"I never thought that I have to be nice to a queen", BlackIce said sarcastic. "Then you can be happy that you have my mother", River answered. Sloth nearly rolled with the eyes.

Can't she even understand sarcasm? "I never saw the queen before", Dawn muttered. "Me too", Sloth replied. "REALY? But you are a RAINWING! You have to know your queen!", River shouted.

How I hate that! Just because SHE is royal it doesn't mean that everybody else is!

"No. Our queen doesn't know any of her dragons. We are to much and I'm just a weird Rainwing", she answered.

"Weird?", Dawn repeated. In that moment something pale yellow ran into the little Nightwing. She tipped forward.

"Are you alright?", asked Sloth. "No! She isn't!", the Sandwing replied angry. "And when I'm ready with that lying Nightwing she will never be again!"

"W-what do you mean?", Dawn asked confused. "It means that I have enough of you! Your tribe is full of liars and murders!", he snarled.

How can a dragon be so full of hate? And why did he pick Dawn by all the moons? Here are so many Nightwing- dragonets!

"Stop that! Stop that!", Tsunami shouted but it was too late. The dragon directed his Sandwing barb at her. Sloth couldn't move anymore.

I have to do something! She is my friend! I can't stay here and watch her die! I rescued dragonets I didn't knew but I can't help my friend.

"N-no wait! She isn't a normal Nightwing! She is different!", Sloth shouted but the Sandwing didn't care. He lunged out and... In the last moment Dawn was drawn back but the venomous barb brushed her neck. Her rescuer, a weird gold Sandwing, snarled at the other dragonet.

"What are you DOING?", he asked. "I'm taking revenge at the Nightwings and not even you can stop me, brother! I will kill every Nightwing at Jade mountain for that what they did to us! To our mother!" The other Sandwing just shook the head.

"Oooh. A heroically Sandwing! He looks awesome!", River whispered exited. "We should help him!", Ripple replied.

No. I think that's a family thing. We can't help by that. But we can help Dawn!

"We should help Dawnbringer!",  BlackIce said angry. Dawn collapsed and she made a ugly sound. In that moment Tsunami arrived. "What are you doing! Stop that!", she shouted.

Why can't somebody help Dawn? Isn't here somewhere a healer? "We have to help Dawnbringer first!", Sloth cried. "Of course we have! Take her to Tamarin in our healer cave!", the head of the school answered.

"Uhm. Where is that?", BlackIce asked not as sharp as normally. For one moment Tsunami started to think. But than the moment was gone. "Than she has to wait!", Tsunami replied. "But she will be dead than!", Sloth cried.

She can't send us. To explain the way will take to long and she can't wait for other teachers.

"You have to go by yourself! We can survive that!", BlackIce snapped. For one moment it seams like Tsunami was going to snap back but she just nodded. "River, Ripple come with me and help. And you prevent them from fighting!", she said.

She doesn't care what happens with me or BlackIce she just took River and Ripple with her because she don't want them to die!, Sloth realized. She doesn't want her DAUGHTER to die. At least she want to rescue every student but they are running away.
"They didn't killed our mother! SHE didn't killed our mother! And if you forgot our dad...", the golden Sandwing answered. "Shut up! Just shut up! This is just a stupid LIE!", his brother shouted.

The other dragonet just laughed coldly. "You can't run away from the true, little brother. You have to reserve your power for our REAL enemy's. And never forget. WE are the only heirs for the Sandwing thron. WE are the dragonets of the dragon who could be the most powerful queen of our world. WE are Queen Blister's only chance for a REAL revenge."

What does that mean? Are they.-but that is nearly impossible! And who is there father? Sloth looked around but every other dragonet was running outside. BlackIce tried to stop them. There was no other dragonet listing. That means I'm the only one except them who knows the true! From that dragonets. I'm sure Queen Thorn and the dragons of destiny know it.

"I KNOW WHAT WE ARE HUNTER!", the normal looking Sandwing shouted angry. "But it only needs ONE of us! The one with more power", he said with a evil smile. Now the Sandwing he called Hunter stepped back. He looked...worried. As if he still knows who will win.

Hunter is probably in my winglet. How great. I have to rescue the son of one of the biggest villains from his own brother.

But Hunter still smiled and said: "You need me. You are maybe strong but you need a BRAIN." But it was to late. His brother clawed his ear.

I-I can't fight them! I have to get BlackIce! But where was she? The little dragonet tried to help the other dragons to get out of the cave. The food ran over her claws and sneezed even more than normally. In that moment she could see a big Mudwing trying to get in the cave but there were too many other dragonets for him to handle.

Clay. But he would be too late. I have to stop them by myself! But how? I can't fight them!

"Hey! Stop fighting you both! You don't have to do that!", she shouted but they even didn't noticed her.

What now? What if one of them will die before Clay can save them? And then she just jumped in the fight.

"I SAID STOP!" Hunter sat down on his dangerous tail. "What's the matter?", he asked calmly but Sloth could see fear in his eyes. "What are you doing here?", the other Sandwing shouted. "Shut up Snake!", Hunter replied. "I can kill you both if I have to!", Snake said.

What are I doing? Just think what you can say! "T-That wouldn't be smart! Th-The dragonets of d-destiny they will..."

"I DONT CARE WHAT THEY WILL DO! One thing is sure! YOU WILL BE DEAD THEN!"

"No. If you touch her my venom will be in your and your brothers eyes and you will be sooner death as you can kill her", a voice replied.

Sloth turned around and her heart nearly went out.

It was HIM.
