"Where... Am I?"

I opened my eyes, and stood up, looking at my surroundings. I was in a destroyed city... But I wasn't alone...

I saw my comrades scattered around me, severely injured. I was hurt too, just barely managing to stand. I looked ahead, and saw a woman and a small child, who were accompanied by a boy who looked like he was 15-17 years of age. He was about to attack me, but Cobalt stood up in front of me. "You've gotta go through me first..." Cobalt said. The enemy attacked again, stabbing Cobalt, then me.

"YOU HAVING FUN YET?"

"AH!" I woke up, and sat up instantly.  "Whoa!" I looked to my left to see Cobalt, who nearly fell out of his chair. I was in the guest room's bed. "What happened?" I asked, out of breath. "The both of us nearly got destroyed by a dragon." He said. "Wait... Shi--", "Shiva's fine." He interrupted. I sighed in relief. "More importantly, are you okay?" He asked. "Yeah..." I said, calming down. "Looked like you were having a nightmare..." Cobalt said. "You sure you're okay?" He asked again. "I'm fine." I said, getting a massive headache all of a sudden. "Tch..." I growled, pressing my hand to my forehead. "Look, you need to get some more rest--", "I said I'm fine!" I snapped. "...." Cobalt sighed, as I lay back down on my bed. "Sorry about caring for you." Cobalt said, looking away. "Hey guys!" Sylvia flew in the door, accompanied by Shiva's mother. "Everything okay?" She asked, smiling. "Yeah... Everything's fine..." Cobalt said, getting up, and leaving the room. 'That dream I had...' I thought. "Wake up in a bad mood, Wisteria?" Tyrael chuckled. "..." I buried my face into the pillow. "I had a dream..." I said, my voice muffled by the pillow. "About?" She asked. I turned back around, now facing the ceiling. "The setting was a fiery apocalypse of destroyed homes and buildings. I was the only one left standing..." I said, my hand on my forehead. "There were three people grinning... And that's all I remember..." I thought, sitting up. "..." Tyrael looked like she was thinking about something for a moment, before speaking up. "Have you had vivid dreams like these before?" She asked. "...no, not really." I replied, getting out of bed. "I dunno if this'll be any help, but there is a legend about dreams in the forest where I came from...." Sylvia said. "The legend states that dreams are a sacred power that can predict the future. It's not always accurate, but it's pretty handy." Sylvia smiled. "How is a prediction of the future helpful in any way?" I asked, crossing my arms. "I'd rather have my future be a surprise than a spoiler." I said, looking out the window. "Maybe your dream was a rather horrible prediction of what will happen." Tyrael shrugged. "Anyways, I apologize for changing the subject so suddenly, but... I did send the Royal guard to exterminate the dragon." Tyrael said, as my eyes went wide. "How long have they been out there? When did they go?" I asked. "Calm down, Wisteria. I sent them to fight a few hours ago." Tyrael smiled. "Don't underestimate them now, sweetheart. They are top-notch Warriors. Besides, I've contacted reinforcements from Vahlir." She continued, crossing her arms with a smirk. "Vahlir?" I asked. "It's a village to the west." She smiled. "..." I sighed. "Okay, but I'm still going out there to help." I said, grabbing my mask and putting on my dark green vest. "Wait, Wis--" I didn't hear them, because I had shut the door behind me before they could finish speaking.

Outside the city....

I heard various words being shouted, and many screams of pain. I ran to where the army was, mask on my face. "What's going on?" I ran to the commander. "It's no use, it's scales are too tough, and it's flames are too hot. It was basically suicide to come here." He said. "Stab it between its scales!" I shouted. "What?" The commander asked. "You can pierce it's skin if you stab it at different angles! The different angles allow the blades to get beneath the scales." I said, pointing at the roaring dragon. "We've tried that already, young miss, the dragon keeps moving..." He said, looking down. "I'll stop it from moving!--- Wait..." I said, realizing that it could burn my vines. "Sir! The reinforcements have arrived!" A soldier ran to us. "How many soldiers?" The commander asked. "One man, and he isn't even a soldier, Sir!" The messenger soldier said, saluting. "In fact, he's over there." The soldier pointed, as I looked in the distance to see a man standing atop a hill. I could hear his obnoxious laugh from here.

"HA HA HA!"
