I woke up to hear my growling stomach. I looked around and found that Bee was poking her head out from a tangle of roots were she and Honey had been sleeping. "Aunt Meadow." She whimpered. "I'm hungry." I looked at her sympathetically. "I'm am to." I said. "Me and your parents will go hunting soon. Blood will stay here to watch you guys." As soon as I finished speaking the rest of the group woke up. "Let's go hunt right now!" Cried Rose. "I'm starving!" So they set of leaving Blood behind to watch the cubs. They found a heard of elk and picked out a weak female. I circled it while Rose and Blizzard snook up. Then they leaped from there hiding place and took it down. Then they dragged it back to the cubs.  Back at the den Blood was being tackled but everyone stoped when they smelled food. Everyone ate it so it was gone in ten minutes. Then they put there cub on there back, Blizzard with Dewdrop, Rose with Honey, Blood with Bee, and me with Glory. Soon we were back in Amethyst Mountain and going over Bison Peak into Slough Creek. Then we picked a den and marked our territory. After all that the cubs were old enough to hunt with us. But Meadow couldn't hunt because she was heavily pregnant.
