AGES
Newborn
Pups that are 0 to 2 months old, they have their eyes and ears closed and can't do anything yet. Their markings are also not really visible. They will not eat prey

Young pup
Pups that are 3 months, their eyes and ears are open, and they can start to play. Their marking can start to show around this age. They will eat prey, but prefer to nurse

Pup
Pups that are 4-9 months old. Their markings and real eye colour are clear and they have a lot of energy, and thus are way more accident prone. They will prefer prey, but will nurse if there isn't enough

Older pup
Pups that are 10-12 months old, at this point they can choose to either play with their siblings or go with the adults on hunts or patrols. They will not help during the activity, but they will learn, however, they are at a high risk if spotted. From now on they will only eat prey

Yearling
Wolves that are a year old. They will learn to hunt, fight, and make a stable pack. They can join in on activities or learn from their pack members

Adult
Wolves that are 2+ years old. They can hunt, fight, patrol, train and have pups. They can also choose if they want to leave the pack or not. If they choose to leave their pack they will be viewed as dispersal wolves and cannot rejoin their old pack

RANKS

Breeding pair
The leaders of the pack, and most of the time the parents of all the Subordinates. They have exclusive breeding rights and make most of the choices in the pack

Subordinates
Wolves that are related to the breeding pair or dispersal wolves that got accepted into the pack. They help with raising litters. They may have litters of their own, however the breeding pair may choose to kill the pups that don't belong to them

Dispersal wolf
A wolf who has left their own pack in order to make a new one. They mostly aim to draw someone from another pack away so they can make their own, but they can also just breed and pass by, or take over a pack
