It's not because she doesn't love you,
It's because she does.

He walked out on her,
Infront of her eyes, her mother fell to the floor,
He took away her happiness,
He took away of a piece of her, when he left.

She watched her mother drown herself,
In drinks, drugs and pills,
Drinks for her sorrow,
Pills for her depression,
And drugs as her substitute for happiness,
She tolerated the abuse,
She tolerated the torture,
And, in the end, she was forced to tolerate the dead body of her mother.

At 18,
In, came her sister,
Crying tears of blood,
Together for 4 years, took him a minute to cheat.

She cried her tears,
Till there were no more.
She fumed with anger,
She lay there, broken.
The unnerving feeling of pain, betrayal and madness, slowly breaking her more.
She saw her sister on the hospital bed,
Cuts and bruises all over her body.

At 20,
Came her best friend,
"Fell out of love", he said,
"Still in love", she cried,
Soothing her best friend, memories flashed,
Memories of her mother,
How still her body lay.
Memories of her sister,
Fighting for her life, in the hospital.
And now, her best friend,
Crying her eyes on just one shoulder.

You see, it's not her fault.
How will she trust,
When all she's seen is betrayal?
How will she ever believe,
When all she's heard are lies?
How will she ever feel,
When she's so scared to fall?

It's not because she doesn't love you.
It's because she does.
