And lol I finally have a +1000 word prologue XD

-------------------

This is it. The moment of truth. Reverians all across the world are looking up at us- hoping, urging- wishing for us to succeed and stop our home from being destroyed. I honestly had no idea what was going to happen that day that first Doomstone crashed into my roof. But when I think of all the friends I have made throughout every Life and journey, I know... I know we have to stop this. This is my home! So many amazing people, creatures... it can't just all go to waste, can it? I think I finally get why Yuelia is so in love with Reveria. I just hope all the wishes she has been collecting will be enough. I'd like to actually have a chance with that amazing girl-

The airship the boy was on lurched, causing him to splay ink across the paper. Noelia and Robin were shouting that they were about to enter the eclipse.

"Ben! Come on!" Yuelia cried. He looked back and scribbled the date onto the corner of his paper and then expertly ripped the page out of his diary, before raising it up and throwing it into the wind. He watched it fly down through the clouds to his homeland below, and hoped it was not for the last time he would be looking at Reveria.

"Right Noelia, we can do this. We just have to believe in the power of wishes!" Yuelia exclaimed. Noelia breathed, and Ben watched the two sisters from Lunares nod to each other before igniting their wondrous powers.

This has to work...

"Hm, very good..." Divinus hummed from the other side of the large crystal that floated before them all.

There was a flash, and suddenly the crystal glowed and a golden symbol etched itself into the formation.

"Wow!" Yuelia breathed in awe and excitement.

Ben blinked, silently awed by the quick but fascinating display.

"This is... the power of everyone's wishes..." Noelia said.

"Ah, this takes me back!" Divinus sighed in a happy-reminiscent way. "A Crystal of Wishes! Hers looked a little bit different... but your mother made one just like this."

Isn't it not just like it then? Ben thought to himself.

"...Hmm, however..." the giant man's tone turned from cheerful to concerned.

"Father?" the girls questioned, worry tinging their voices.

"I'm afraid that, the power of wishes contained within this crystal... will not be strong enough to purify Reveria. There simply aren't enough wishes."

It felt like an icicle from the summit of Mount Snowpeak was just stabbed through Ben's heart.

No...!

Robin said Ben's thoughts aloud for him. "N-no!"

"I can't believe it! We've come so far!" Noelia cried. She seemed frustrated. There was a short pause.

"Erm... Divinus?" Robin spoke up nervously.

"Can I... can I add my wish as well?"

Noelia sighed. "It won't help Robin... your wish is already in there. Ben's is in there as well."

Robin was quick to retort. "Then we've gotta go back to Reveria and get some more wishes!"

"That's impossible. We're at full eclipse. Reveria's time has run out."

It was too quiet as reality set in.

"No! It can't just be over! Just like that...?" Robin choked out.

"Hmmm..." Divinus hummed, watching the interaction as if he were watching a play.

Throughout all of this, Yuelia hadn't spoken at all. That was worrisome, considering normally she was the one to have a one-sided conversation with Ben most of the time.

The young pilot suddenly had fire fill his gaze. "I knew he was an old fraud!" he accused and glared at the giant man.

"What are you saying Robin?" Noelia questioned, sounding honestly confused.

"This old man isn't our god or divine ruler or anything! He's just a big old fake!"

Ben cringed at what the concequence could be for his friend for insulting Divinus. He could crush us under one foot... Not like the Napdragon couldn't do that. He didn't even think about that if this were the finale he would never be able to fight the Napdragon like he planned to once all of this was over.

"Robin..."

The young aviator ran off, and Noelia wasn't even a step behind him.

Yuelia had a distant look on her face as she walked over to one of the other sides of the garden.

Yuelia... Ben was deeply saddened to see his friend look so sad. He approached her slowly, making sure not to disturb her in a way that could rile her up. She grew up here. She must know something we can do. We can't give up just yet! She didn't even notice when he was standing right next to her, so he carefully tapped the while-blonde girl on the shoulder.

She choked out a sigh. "I... I'm glad I got to see Reveria. I enjoyed my time there so much... Did you enjoy it too, Ben?"

He reeled backwards some. "We- I- what...?" his voice was quiet from hardly ever talking.

Yuelia jumped and looked over her shoulder at him, seeming surprised. "I think this is it Ben..." she looked back down at the ground.

I... We're not going back to Reveria? He knew that was said, but it hadn't registered in his mind this was the end. Even Yuelia thinks so. We're not going back home... It suddenly felt like despair was crushing his heart. But Laura, Pam! Olivia and Andy! Damien! Pino and the forest spirits! All those stupid Plushlings that always found a way to make people smile... He idly thought that they could really use one of those Plushlings right now.

"I-it was so much fun..." Ben's voice tightened as he said that, realizing that by saying that, it might as well be over.

Yuelia smiled. "Wasn't it though? Don't you wish it could continue!"

"Yes I do! Of course I do! How could I wish for my home to be destroyed?!"

Yuelia's face turned from passive with a hint of sadness to guilty as she nodded. "I know, me too. That beautiful square where I first met you, Ben... The fascinating lands we journied across... The first taste of sugared water..."

They both laughed at that one, knowing Yuelia had actually hated the stuff.

"Pierre's ridiculous hairstyle..." Ben added, smiling. She smiled brighter as well, knowing it was very well true.

"Well, maybe I don't miss that last one." she added, and Ben was suddenly reminded that he wasn't going to get to see those two idiots and so many more ever again.

Yuelia's demeanor changed. "I'm... I'm not giving up just yet! I made a promise to Laura!" she decided with determination.

Ben filled with hope at his friend's willpower. YES! If she's not giving up, neither am I!

"Ben... you remember your wish, right? It was, 'I want to live Life to the fullest!' wasn't it?" Ben nodded. Well, I think I sure have done that.

"Ben..." Yuelia's voice softened with something Ben couldn't place. "Do you know what I wish for?"

He thought about it for a moment. But then he nodded, knowing exactly what she wished for. She loves Reveria. All that, everything we did, she told me it was the happiest she had ever been.

"Of course."

She beamed at him. "I knew you would." her gaze drifted to the ground. "Heh... You know what Ben?" She looked back up, her eyes filled with bright determination that lit even Ben's crushing heart. "I've made up my mind! Yes, I've come to a decision!"

She marched to the Wish Crystal with resolve Ben could never really have.

"Um, Father..." Divinus looked down at his blonde daughter.

"Yes Yuelia?" he hummed.

"Please listen to me. I... I want to add my wish to the Wish Crystal!"

The other three small people blinked.

"Crystal of Wishes." Divinus corrected.

"Whatever! Please! I need to do this!" Yuelia cried.

Divinus hummed again. "There's nothing stopping you, Yuelia. Go ahead and add your wish."

He seems to casual about all this, Ben noted with a sweat of dread.

Yuelia looked up at the huge Wish Crystal. She activated her powers, floating and glowing a few inches off the ground.

"I wish to live in Reveria! To return to that wondrous place, feel the sun on my skin, live Life and collect Bliss and do everything there is to do there! That is my wish!" She herself glittered, and the Wish Crystal glowed again. But then the light faded, and there was nothing more to happen.

Yuelia's feet touched the ground again as Divinus looked regretfully at the teenagers before him. "I'm sorry Yuelia, there is nothing more that can be done." Divinus sighed.

Yuelia... Ben rushed to her side. Her face was crushed, their last hope was worthless. As she fell to her knees on the ground, Ben's face for once couldn't keep his neutral expression and he clenched his teeth in remorse. Noelia had a saddened look still as she comforted Robin, who was angrily defeated.

This is it. There is nothing more to be done. Ben looked at the tiny Goddess Ship that flew outside the Galaxy Tree that held Reveria.

We lost.

Reveria is gone.
