It's Sunday and I am here with the third & final Bonus Part of this story. Thank you for your votes and comments. Means a lot.🙂🙂🙂. The parts in italics is the flashback.
Without further ado, here is the next part of this story. Hope you like it :-

"IT's A PREMATURE BABY DEV. SO WE HAVE KEPT HER IN THE INCUBATOR UNDER OBSERVATION. THE NEXT 24 HOURS ARE THE MOST CRITICAL FOR HER LIFE"

As soon as Dev heard that the earth slipped from underneath his feet, he stuttered as he held on to the wall for support, he slumped down on to the chair that was kept as Dr. Iyer spoke "Dev...Dev... Control yourself" she said but he was absolutely quiet, just then Bijoy along with others made their way towards them "What's the matter Doctor?" he asked not missing the stunned and morose look on Dev's face as Dr. Iyer appraised them about the situation as there was a stunned silence, Ishwari looked at Dev whose face was drained of colon. She quickly settled herself on the chair besides him as she held his hand and said "Dev, Beta dekh Chinta matt kar, humari bacchi ko kuch nahi hoga, himmat matt harr beta. Dekh iss waqt Sonakshi ko teri zaroorat hai beta. Agar tu hi himmat haar gaya toh usey kaun sambhalega" she said, the name of Sonakshi seemed to bring Dev out of his misery. He quickly got up and went towards Dr. Iyer who was talking to Bijoy.

"Meena, Does Sonakshi know about this?" he asked hoping Sonakshi did not know about the situation as she replied "No Dev, she does not know about it" as Dev heaved a sigh of relief as Meenakshi continued "She will be shifted to the ward in half an hour. And Dev you need to be strong as you are the only one who can handle her right now. And as I said the next 24 hrs are crucial for your child so don't lose hope Dev" she said as Dev nodded his head slowly as he asked "Meena.... Can I...Can I see my daughter once?" he asked as she replied "Dev, we cannot allow you inside the room, but you can look at her from the glass partition" she said and asked him to accompany her. Ishwari meanwhile asked Mamaji to take her home as she took Nikki along with her. She wanted to light the Diya at home and pray to the almighty for the well-being of her grand-daughter. Saurabh meanwhile was asked to take Dadi along with him to home as she needed rest.

After a few moments they were standing out the door of a room which had a small glass partition as Meenakshi spoke "Dev, there's your daughter" said Meenakshi pointing towards the incubator in which his daughter was kept, as Dev looked at his daughter tears made way in his eyes. How many times had he imagined the moment when he would have the first glimpse of their daughter, but never had he expected the situation would be such. Wrapped in a towel she looked like a soft cotton ball as tears now flowed unabashed from his eyes seeing the apparatus connected to the little one. He wiped his tears as Meenakshi kept her hand on his shoulder trying to give him the strength to get through the moment.

Forty-five minutes later the nurse came out of Sonakshi's ward as she informed Dev that she had regained consciousness and was asking about the child. Dev quickly got up as he looked at Asha and Bijoy who gestured him to go ahead. As he entered the cabin he saw Sonakshi restless as he slowly called out "Sona..." she looked at him as the next moment she spoke in a weak voice "Dev..." she said as he made his way towards her and settling on the bed held her hand as she spoke again "Dev Why is no one telling me about our child? Is it a boy or a girl? Tell me na Dev, did you see our child?" she rattled of her questions but was met with silence as she asked again "Dev, tum kuch bol kyun nahi rahey ho? Bolo naa Dev" she asked again getting hysterical by the minute as he hugged her hiding her face into his chest as she kept asking about their child. After a few moments he spoke "It's a girl Sona..." he said slowly as she came out of his hold, a bright smile forming on her pale face as Dev continued "But..." as Sonakshi replied the very next moment "But what Dev?" she asked him as he informed her about the condition of their daughter, as he finished the colour drained of Sonakshi's face, there was a stunned silence as he turned completely quiet.

"Sona...Say something Sona...Don't be quiet like this" said Dev trying to incite a reaction from her but she was expressionless, Dev shook her to get her out of her reverie as the next moment she broke down, she started hitting his chest as she sobbed vigorously "Why Dev...Ye humarey saath hi kyun hota hai? Kyun Dev...kyun" she broke down completely as Dev hugged her tightly trying to assure "Sona..Sona..Chup ho jao Sona...Kuch nahi hoga humari beti ko..kuch nahi" he said as she kept mumbling "Why does it happen to us Dev...why" as he tightened his hug, after a few moments Dev did not hear her as he moved her out of his hold "Sona...Sona" he called her out seeing her not respond as he called out for the nurse who quickly called the doctor. Meenakshi entered the ward in a few moments as she checked Sonakshi who by now was laid on the bed by Dev "Don't worry Dev the stress and exhaustion has taken its toll on her that's why she is unconscious. She will regain her consciousness by morning" she said as Dev heaved a sigh of relief. He asked Meenakshi could he stay with Sonakshi for the night as she agreed. He went out and informed everyone about it and asked them to go home but Asha and Bijoy would have none of it. And after a lot of insistence they agreed promising that they would return the early next morning. Riya stayed with Dev for the night which they felt was longer than usual.

The next morning Sonakshi regained her consciousness as she once again started getting panic-stricken, but Dev managed to control the situation. The Boses had arrived in the morning while Ishwari stayed at home along with Mamaji, she had not moved in inch from the temple in Ishwari Niwas fervently praying for the well being of her grand-child. Each moment was passing like a year, Sonakshi who had not seen her daughter till now was just lying in Dev's hold who tried to comfort her. Asha and Bijoy meanwhile had sent Riya back home asking her to take rest though she was not ready to but after Dev's insistence she left informing that she will return soon in the afternoon.

At around 11 o'clock the nurse walked in the ward with a baby crying its lungs out, Meenakshi walked in along with the nurse as Dev and Sonakshi looked at them. "Dev, Sonakshi meet your daughter" she said with a smile on her face as the nurse handed over the crying baby to Sonakshi who held her with trembling hands "She is absolutely fine and out of danger how" finished Meenakshi as tears of joy burst through Dev and Sonakshi's eyes. They looked at their daughter who was crying due to hunger, but her cry was pumping life back into Dev and Sonakshi "Sonakshi feed your baby, she is hungry" said Meenakshi as she nodded as Meenakshi left with the nurse leaving them alone to spend time with their daughter.

Sonakshi meanwhile fed her daughter as Dev took in the scene, his eyes would not stop dripping with tears. He looked at his daughter her tiny hands, fingers, the tiny legs as Sonakshi wiped her daughters' lips as she had completed her feed. She looked at Dev whose gaze was not moving away from their daughter "Dev..." she called out but he completely oblivious to her as she called again "Dev..." she said as he came out of his trance as he looked at Sonakshi who slowly handed over the baby to him, his hands were quivering as he held his daughter "Sona...Our...our daugh..." he could not complete as his voice choked because of the tears as Sonakshi spoke "Yes Dev Our daughter...Our Suhana" she said as tears were now flowing unabashedly from their eyes, Dev hugged their daughter lightly against his chest as the baby seemed to snuggle into the warmth of her father's hold. How many times had Sonakshi thought of this moment, the moment when Dev holds their child and it was a dream that was coming true for her. A few moments later Asha and Bijoy walked in as they were overjoyed to see their grandchild hale and hearty. Bijoy informed Ishwari about it as an hour later they arrived with everyone else as joy and happiness spread across the whole family.

Three days later Sonakshi was discharged from the hospital as she went to the Bose house along with their daughter and Dev had tagged along with them. Three months later Sonakshi returned with Suhana to Ishwari niwas as life turned beautiful once again from Dev and Sonakshi.

Five years later...

Sonakshi was standing in the balcony of their room looking at the scene unfolding below in the garden. She saw her three kids playing, their daughter Suhana and their two sons as her thoughts went back to the day a year back....

It was a year ago when Dev and Sonakshi had decided to have a second child but then given Sonakshi's health complications Dev had decided that Sonakshi would not undergo pregnancy once again and Meenakshi agreed to him making Sonakshi do nothing but accept their decision. That's when they decided that they would adopt a second child. And a couple of weeks after Suhana's birthday they went to an Orphanage SAHARA. They were taken around the orphanage by Sushma Reddy, a lady in her fifties who had been running the orphanage for the last 20 years. They were handed a Two-month-old boy who had lost his parents a month back and was left at the orphanage by the grandparents of the kids as they were getting old. Both Dev and Sonakshi had decided to adopt the kid but just when they were about the sign the formalities a boy nearly of Suhana's age came in crying looking for his brother only to find him with the strangers. Sushma informed them that the boy was the older brother of the baby and was fondly called Golu by everyone. Golu did not seem to let go of his brother as Dev and Sonakshi's heart cried seeing the boy. They asked Sushma if they could adopt Golu as well. Sushma was left in a dilemma as the rules did not allow the adoption of two kids at the same time. But then she thought about both the boys who would get a family and she agreed to them. Completing the formalities, they took the boys to their home. Suhana was more than happy to have two brothers. The older boy was named Raunak as Sonakshi had decided the name whenever they had a son while the younger one was named Shubh by Ishwari as the youngest Dixit member's arrival brought with it happiness in all their lives. And in the past one year the three kids had become the life of the house, to an outsider it would never look like the two boys were adopted.

As Sonakshi looked at her kids' slight tears glistened her eyes as she wiped them just as she felt someone nuzzling her neck "What are you thinking?" said the person, it was none other than Dev who had just returned from work as Sonakshi replied "Nothing, was just thinking how long have we come Dev" she said as he turned her towards him and asked "What do you mean Sonakshi?" as she replied "You remember Dev, that day seven years ago when at the café you had asked whether I would give you two months to convince Maa for our relation" she asked as he nodded his head in agreement as she continued "Now that I think I wonder what would have happened if Maa would not have agreed to our relation or for that matter if I was not ready to give you the two months' time" she said as Dev sighed, he cupped her cheeks.

"Sona...Whatever would have happened that time I would have never left you. You remember the time when I come to your home to break our relationship, that was the worst time in my life and only I know what I had gone through that time. I would have never made the same mistake again. So even if Maa had not agreed or for that matter if you had not given me two months I would have never left you" he said as the next moments Sonakshi latched her lips with his as they engaged in a soulful kiss.

As they broke the kiss Sonakshi said "Thank you Dev...Thank you for completing my FAIRY TALE" as Dev replied "Thank you, thank you Sonakshi for giving me my LITTLE WORLD" he said as Sonakshi said "OUR LITTLE WORLD" as they joined their foreheads. A few moments later the kids called them as they showed them the Little house they had built in the garden as they appreciated their kids. THEIR SMALL LITTLE WORLD WAS FINALLY COMPLETE.

How was it? This brings an end to my FINAL STORY on KRPKAB. I know it is a cliche ending and you must have read similar endings before but this was best i could think off for winding this story. Hope you liked it🙂🙂🙂.
