As Dev cut the call he laid his head on the headrest of his bed as his thoughts went back to the previous night and his talk with Mamaji...

"Mamaji mujhey aapsey kuch aur baat karni thi" said Dev as Mamaji could sense the hesitation in his voice as he said "Kya baat hai Dev, Tu pareshan kyun lag raha hai. Jo bhi kehna hai khul ke keh beta"

"Wo..Wo Mamaji Aapkey ghar ke jalney k eek haftey baad mujhey insurance walon ka call aaya tha" he said as Mamaji looked at him surprised, all these days whenever Mamaji had asked Dev about this Dev would say that his insurance was under process and he would look into it but never did he mention about this before.

"Dev, Tuney mujhey ye baat pehle kyun nahi batayi" he asked him as Dev replied "Uski..Uski ek wajah thi Mamaji" as Mamaji asked "Kya wajah Dev?" while Dev pondered, he knew what he was about to tell was bound to hurt his uncle but then it was important to know that he knew the truth.

"Mamaji wo...sab kuch dekhney aur parakhney ke baad insurance walon ka ye kehna hai ki aapkey ghar main aag koi hadsa nahi tha balki kisi ne jaan bujkar ghar main aag lagai thi" he said morosely as Mamaji was stunned into silence, never did he imagine that someone would burn his house down. As far he remembered he had no enemies so why anyone would burn his down.

"Ye tu kya keh raha hai Dev, meri toh kisi se koi dushmani bhi nahi hai toh phir mera ghar koi kyun jalayega" he asked turning hysterical by the moment, he was already reeling under the fact that the house which he had built from his hard-earned money was burnt and now added to that the fact that someone had wantedly burnt it down had flabbergasted him.

Dev kept quiet as he did not want to point at the obvious as Mamaji was deep in thoughts, suddenly something stuck and it stuck him like a thunderbolt, at the time when his house was burnt only Radharani was present in the house and she had escaped unscathed from it. In fact just a day before she had given all the jewellery to her brother for keeping it safely on the pretext that robberies had increased in their area, his thoughts went back to the times when Radharani had insisted him to shift to Ishwari Niwas but he had always denied but now everything made sense, as the truth dawned upon him he slowly spoke.

"Dev, Jiss waqt ghar main aag lagi thi uss waqt wahan sirf Radharani thi, iska matlab..." he stopped midway as Dev just looked down wordlessly as Mamaji's worst fears came true, it was indeed his wife who had burnt their house down, the next moment anger surged through him. He was about to get up and go when Dev stopped him.

The constant knock on the door brought Dev out of his thoughts as he saw Mamaji standing at the door. He came in thanked him for providing him the house while Dev just stopped him from doing that. After it dawned to Mamaji that Radharani had burnt the house he wanted to go right away and make her accept it, but Dev made him understand that there was no point in it now and made him understand. Though Mamaji did not agree but he made Dev promise that he will not stop him from leaving the house which Dev reluctantly agreed to and promised that he will get the house built for him but for the time being he will need to shift to a temporary house which Mamaji agreed to. Dev was sceptical about Ishwari agreeing to his or Mamaji's decision, but he was reassured by Mamaji that he will handle his sister and make her agree. And that was how the decision of Mamaji and his family shifting from Ishwari Niwas was taken. Thanking Dev once again Mamaji went to his room as Dev called it a night.

Four days had passed since the night when it was decided that Mamaji would leave Ishwari Niwas and shift to the house which Dev had arranged for them and accordingly they had left the previous evening, though Mamiji had made last ditch efforts to stay back at Ishwari Niwas Mamaji made sure that Ishwari would not force them stay back.

Right now, Ishwari was sitting in the living room reading a magazine when she heard a voice "Maa" as she looked up to see who it was and as she saw the person she was surprised, it was none other than Neha who was paying a visit to her maternal home.

"Arey Neha" said Ishwari as she got up and went towards her taking her into a hug she said "Kitney dino ke baad aayi hai tu, kaisi hai tu? Aur Ranveer kaisa hai?" as both came out of the hug and settled down.

"Main theek hoon maa aur ranveer bhi theek hai, socha bohot din ho gaye toh milney aa gayi" she said as Ishwari replied "Accha kiya, Waisey bhi ye khali ghar katney ko daud raha hai" she said indicating about her loneliness because no one was there at home.

"Haan Maa, Riya ne bataya ki Mamaji aur Mamiji shift ho gaye hai" she said as Ishawri replied "Haan, pata nahi bhaiya ne achanak faisla kyun liya yahan se jaaney ka aur Dev ne bhi unka saath diya iss faisley main" she said sadly unhappy that her brother had left with his family.

"Maa...Mamaji ne jo bhi faisla liya wo soch samajh ke hi faisla liya hoga" she said as Ishwari nodded her head in agreement, she called Kichu and asked him to get some refreshments to her room as the mother-daughter duo left for Ishwari's room to catch up with the happenings in their lives.

Ishwari and Neha were sitting in Ishwari's room chatting with each other, it was long time since the mother-daughter duo had a heart to heart talk to with each other. Currently both were seeing the photos of their childhood reminiscing the days of their struggle when Neha stopped at a picture.

"Maa, tujhey ye tasveer yaad hai" said Neha looking at the photo as Ishwari looked at it and smiled looking at it "Acchi tarah yaad hai" she said and looked at it again, it was a picture of Neha with a doll which was taken at a photo studio.

"Tujhey wo din yaad hai jab ye tasveer li gayi thi?" asked Neha as Ishwari replied "Haan, ye tasveer tere Dasvi janam din ke din liya tha naa tuney" she said as Neha nodded her head in agreement and continued "Haan, Aur ye Doll, Bhaiya ne apne pehle tankha se kharidi thi kyunki main ney unsey kaha tha ki mujhey ye bohot pasand thi. Main dus saal ki thi tab aur yaad hai Maa ye pheli baar main ney apni photo studio main khichvayi thi" she said as tears glistened her eyes while Ishwari had slight tears in her eyes as well remembering the days of their hardship.

"Tujhey yaad hai Maa kasiey bhaiya humesha Nikki ke liye Gola laya kartey they kyunki usey wo bohot pasand tha. Aur humesha unki salary se jo bhi paisey bachtey toh wo humarey liye kuch na kuch latey" she said as Ishwari nodded, a proud smile adorning her face.

"Haan, Dev hai hi aisa. Humesha doosron ke baarey main sochta hai aur sab kuch karta hai unkey liye. Jab bhi tum logon ne kuch bhi manga ya chaha wo tum logon ke saamney uss cheez ko rakh deta. Apney liye usney kabhi kuch chaha hi nahi" she said as her smile widened while Neha smiled as well.

"Tu bhai se bohot pyar karti hai na Maa, shayad hum sab se thoda zyada" she asked as Ishwari looked at her in surprise, this was something which Neha had complains about, so seeing her talk about this topic did take her by surprise.

"Haan main Dev ko pyar karti hoon lekin iska matlab ye nahi ki main tum logon ko kuch kam pyar karti hoon Neha. Ek maa apney bachon main kabhi farak nahi karti Neha, mujhey pata hai kii tujhey humesha yahi lagta hai ki main tum sab main se Dev se zyada pyar karti hoon par aisa nahi hai beta. Haan ye baat sach hai ki shayad kai baar main ney anjaaney main tum logon main farak kiya ho lekin mera pyar tum sab ke liye ek samaan hai beta" said Ishwari in a loving tone trying to make Neha understand that she never differentiated between them.

"Mujhey pata hai Maa lekin shayad jin paristhitiyon mainhum sab they uski wajah se mere mann main kadvahat bas gayi thi aur ussi ki wajah se main ney kai baar tujhey aur Bhai ko dosh diya, mujhey maaf kar de maa" she said as Ishwari held Neha's hand and said "Nahi Neha, galti teri nahi hai. Aur Waisey bhi mujhey ya phir Dev ko teri baton ka bura nahi laga Neha kyunki usmey bhi tera pyar jhalakta tha" she finished as Neha smiled. No more words were spoken between the two for both knew one thing, the burnt bridge was being built back.

After a few moments of silence Neha spoke "Maa, Tu kehti hain naa ki bhai ne apney liye kabhi kuch nahi chaha toh phir aaj jab unhoney ne apney liye kuch chaha hai toh unhey kyun samajh nahi paa rahi hai" she said as Ishwari looked at her in shock and surprise as she spoke "Tu Kehna kya chahti hai Neha?"

"MAIN BHAI AUR Dr.SONAKSHI KE RISHTEY KE BAAREY MAIN BAAT KAR RAHI HOON MAA"

The next day Dev was at his office, it was a Friday. He had an early morning meeting hence had come into the office early and now after the meeting was sitting in his cabin. He did not understand why but from morning he was feeling uneasy & restless, it felt to him as if something was about to happen. He tried to distract his mind by working yet it provided no relief to his restlessness. He picked up his mobile and opening the gallery of his phone he started looking at the photos in them, his family members, his mother, his love everyone's picture was there in his phone. As he swiped he stopped at a photo, it was his and Sonakshi's taken when he had gone out on a date with Natasha and Sonakshi's supposed boyfriend Neil. As he remembered the day a smile tugged on his lips, he had worn an Orange shirt, something which was unimaginable but the girl on his side had changed him, she had worn an orange Anarkali suit herself. He was missing her, in fact missing her badly. He knew it was he who had decided that they would meet only on Sundays but now he was missing her terribly, though they talked every night still he was missing her terribly today. He picked up his car keys and headed out of his cabin, asking Tina to postpone his meetings for the day by a couple of hours and left.

Sonakshi was in her cabin with her assistant when she heard a knock on her cabin door as both looked at door to see the person who had knocked. While her assistant smiled looking at the person who was also the trustee of the hospital Sonakshi was surprised to see the person at her workplace, for the person was none other than DEV, both looked at each other lost in their thoughts.

"Main patient ko wait karney bolti hoon Ma'am" said her assistant Meera as Sonakshi came out of her thoughts, she nodded agreeing to her as she picked up the file to leave the room, just at the exit she looked at Dev and said "Hello Sir" as Dev nodded at her and smiled. He entered the cabin and moved towards the window located exactly opposite to Sonakshi's work table. He looked at the garden which was directly below the cabin as Sonakshi got up and went towards him.

"Tum Yahan?" she asked as Dev looked at her while she added "Aur Waisey aaj Sunday nahi hai toh aap aaj yahan kya kar rahey hai?" she asked sarcastically as Dev smiled at her, he knew she would throw that bard at him, ever since he had decided that they would meet only on Sundays he knew that Sonakshi was unhappy yet never said anything and today was the perfect opportunity for her.

"Main...Main tumhey ye pen lautaney aaya tha" he said taking out the pen from his pocket, it was the first gift which she had given to Dev.

"Tum ye pen lautaney aaye they?" she asked as Dev nodded his head in agreement while she asked "Phir wo saarey pal jo humney saath bitaye hain unhey kaisey lautaogey?" she asked as he replied instantly "Unhey main lautana bhi nahi chahta" as he smiled while Sonakshi looked at his face, she could see wrinkles on worry on his face and the dark circles under his eyes and she knew he was not getting his daily sleep in the night and she knew why it was.

"Dev, Mujhey ek baar Auntyji se baat karney do naa?" she asked him something she had been wanting him to ask from quiet sometime as Dev replied "Nahi.." before he could continue Sonakshi said "Please Ek baar Dev" as Dev spoke "Nahi Sonakshi, Main jaanta hoon mana nahi karengi par wo khush bhi nahi rahengi" he said as Sonakshi sighed, after a few moments she spoke.

"Ajeeb baat hai naa Dev, Tum apni Maa ko mana nahi kar saktey aur main unhey mana nahi sakti" she said and put the pen back in his pocket as and laid her head on his chest as he smiled and wound his hand around her, finally he was at peace, he was at peace with her. While in the background it played

Kuch Rang Pyar ke aise bhi, Kuch Rang Pyar ke aise bhi.....
