It was almost 6 in the evening. Shivaay and Anika were wandering on the roads of Dalhousie to find a shelter. They were really tired and hungry.

S- Main bahut thak gaya hoon. ( I am very tired.)

A- Main bhi bahut thak gayi hoon aur mujhe bhook bhi lagi hai. ( I am also very tired and hungry also.)

S- Pehle kuch khaane ke liye dhoondhte hain. ( Firstly let's find something to eat.)

A- Haan yahan kisi se poochte hain. ( Let's ask someone.)

Shivaay and went to a small paan shop.

A- Kya aap hume bata sakte hain ki hume yahan khaane ko kahan milega? ( Can you tell us that where will we get something to eat?)

M- Haan madamji. Yahan se thodi hi door pe ek dhaba hai. ( Yes madam. There is a dhaba at a little distance from here.)

Shivaay and Anika nods their head and started walking towards dhaba.

Finally they reached the dhaba and occupied a table.

A boy of around 16 years of age told them the menu.

A- Shivaay, you order food. I am going to washroom.

Shivaay nods his head and Anika left.

Shivaay turns towards the boy and asked him.

S- 2 roti aur dal kitne ki hogi?(How much does 2 chapati and dal cost?)

B- 70 rupees.

S- Ek roti aur dal kitni ki hogi?(what is is cost of one roti and dal?)

B- 60 rupees.

S(thinks) - We have only 60 rupees left now because we spent 60 rupees in the lunch today. I will order food for Anika. Atleast she can have food.

Shivaay smiles and orders dal and one roti.

Anika came back from washroom and sat on her place. After few minutes the boy came with dal and roti and kept it on the table.

A- Par ye toh sirf ek hi roti hai? (But this is only one roti?)

S- Haan maine hi ek roti order kiya hai. ( Yes I have ordered one chapati only.)

He asks the boy to go.

A- Par Shivaay, tum kya khaoge? ( But Shivaay, what will you eat?)

S- Mujhe bhook nahi lagi hai. Aur waise bhi lunch bahut heavy tha. ( I am not hungry. Anyways the lunch was really heavy.)

Shivaay says while avoiding her gaze. But soon Anika realized that they are short of money.

She tore the chapati in two halves. She served the half chapati to herself and the other half to Shivaay.

Shivaay looks at her confusingly.

A- You were right, lunch was really heavy and look at the size of this chapati. I won't be able to eat it alone.

Shivaay smiles and takes the half chapati.

They had their dinner and left from there after paying the bill.

S- Hume jald se jald rehne ki jagah dhoondhni hogi kyunki raat bahut ho chuki hai aur itni raat ko aise bahar rehna, safe nahi hai. (We have to find some place to live as soon as possible because its already night and it's not safe to roam around the city at night.)

Anika nods in understanding. They were walking on the isolated streets when Anika's eyes fell on a villa.

A-Shivaay, woh dekho.(Shivaay, look there.)

Shivaay looks at the villa.

S- So what's special in that. It's just a creepy and horrible villa.

A- Shivaay, hum log yahan reh sakte hain. Aisa lagta hai ki yahan koi nahi rehta hai bahut salon se.(Shivaay, we can live there for few days. It seems that nobody is living here since ages.)

S- Tum pagal ho kya,Anika? Hum yahan nahi reh sakte.Tumhe dikhai nahi de raha Kya ki yeh koi haunted house hai. Agar yahan pe koi bhoot hua toh? (Are you mad Anika! We can't live there. Can't you see that it is looking like a haunted house. What if there's some ghost or something?)

A-Shivaay, 21st century mein in baaton pe kaun vishwas karta hai.Aur waise bhi humare paas paise nahi hain.aur koi bhi hume free mein five star hotel mein rehne nahi dega. Toh humare paas koi option nahi hai.(Shivaay, who believes all these things in 21st century. Anyways we don't have money and no one will allow us to live in a five star hotel in free. So we don't have any option left.)

S- Anika, I am telling you that its not a good idea.

A- I don't care. Main andar ja rahi hoon. Agar tumhe yahan road pe rehna hai toh tum reh sakte ho.Aur agar mere saath aana hai toh shauk se aao. (I am going inside. If you wanna stay here on the road then you can. If you want to come with me then you are most welcome.)

Anika went towards the gate. She pushed the gate and it opens with a creaking sound. She started walking towards the main door of the villa.

She was trying to open the door but it was jammed. She was trying to push it with force. Suddenly she saw another pair of hands pushing it. She looks by her side and saw Shivaay pushing it.

A- Tum yahan kya kar rahe ho? (What are you doing here?)

S- Main tumhe aise akele nahi chod sakta. Tum meri responsibility ho aur waise bhi jab koi bhoot tumhe khayega toh woh mujhe live dekhna hai. ( I can't leave you alone like this. You are my responsibility and anyways, if a ghost eats you, I want to see that Live.)

Anika chuckles at his explanation. They start pushing the door. Finally it opens.

They went inside the villa. Anika was amazed after seeing the villa while Shivaay was little scared.

It was really very spooky and was giving ghostly feelings.

S- Anika abhi bhi time hai. Wapas chalte hain. ( Anika, there's still time, we should go back.)

A- Shut up, Shivaay. Yahan sab kitna acha aur adventurous hai. Yahan pe kitna maza aayega. ( everything is so good and adventurous here. We will have so much fun here.)

S- Of course. Tumhe toh apne ghar wapas aake, maza hi aayega.😂 ( You will definitely have fun after coming back to your home.)

Anika glares at him.

A- Chalo ghar dekhte hain. (Let's look around the house.)

S- Yeh koi museum nahi hai jo dekhte hain. Yeh bhoot bangla hai. ( This is not any museum that we will look around. This is a haunted house.)

A- Tumhe kaise pata yeh bhoot bangla hai. Tumne dekha bhoot yahan? Mujhe bhi dekhna hai bhoot. This is not fair. Tum akele bhoot kaise dekh sakte ho? Mujhe bulana chahiye tha na.😂(How did you know that this is a haunted house? Did you see any ghost? I also want to see them.This is not fair.How can you see the ghost alone? You should have called me.)

Anika makes a pout while Shivaay face palms himself.

S- Don't worry tumhari behenein bahut jald tumse milne aayengi.😂 (Don't worry, your sisters will Come to meet you soon.)

Anika glares at him.

A- Tumne mujhe bhoot kaha? ( Did you call me a ghost?)

Shivaay shook his head in no.

A- Better. Aur kehna bhi mat. ( Don't ever say it also.)

S(murmurs) - Ab har baat kehne ki zaroorat thodi na hoti hai. ( It is not necessary to say everything.)

A- Kuch kaha? ( Did you say anything?)

Shivaay shook his head in no.

A- Ok. Chalo. ( Let's go.)

They went upstairs and were roaming around the corridors.

Anika stopped in front of a door.

A- Let's see what's inside?

She was about to open it when Shivaay shrieks.

S- Nahiiiiiii. Ruko. ( Nooooooo. Stop.)

A- Ab kya hai? ( Now what?)

S- Agar andar koi safed saree wali aunty hui toh?😂 ( What if there is a aunty in white saree?)

A- Toh main unki shaadi tumse karwa doongi aur phir woh red saree pehenne lagengi. Bas.😂 ( Then I will make you marry her and she will start wearing red saree. Ok?)

Shivaay looks at her horrified.

Anika opens the door and went inside. Shivaay also followed her.
It was a bedroom.

A- Wow. Ye toh bedroom hai. (Wow. This is a bedroom.)

Shivaay was looking around the room. Suddenly his eyes fell on a big photo frame which was hanging on the wall. It was a photo of a lady who was sitting on a big sofa.

S- Anika, yeh dekho. ( Anika, look at this.)

Anika stood beside Shivaay.

A- I think ye iss ghar ki owner thi. ( I think she was owner of this house.)

S- Hmm.

They were looking at the picture keenly when suddenly they heard a THUD sound which came from downstairs.

They looked at each other with a horrified look.
