Anika and Shivaay looked at each other horrified.

A- Shivaay, I think hume neeche jaake check karna chahiye ki yeh awaaz kahan se aayi. (Shivaay, I think we should go downstairs and check that where did the sound come from.)

S- Pagal ho kya? Agar koi bhootni huyi toh? (Are you mad? What if it's some ghost?)

A- Shut up, Shivaay. Agar tumne ek aur baar bhoot ka naam liya na toh main... (If you again uttered the name of ghost, then I will...)

S- Toh kya karogi, huh? (So what will you do, huh?)

A- Toh main tumhe iss ghar mein akela chhod ke bhaag jaungi. (Then I will leave you alone in this house and run away.)

Shivaay looks at her scared and shocked.

S- What? Tum mere saath aisa nahi kar sakti. Tum toh pyaari Anika ho. (No you can't do this to me. You are very sweet Anika.)

A- Ok. Ok. Stop buttering me and let's go downstairs and check.

Shivaay nods his head slowly. Anika moves out of the room followed by Shivaay.

They were descending the stairs but Shivaay was so scared that he was hiding behind Anika and following her. He was continuously chanting a mantra with closed eyes.

S- Aaltu Jalaltu Aayi bala ko taal Tu.

Anika gets irritated by his continuous chants.

Anika suddenly turns towards him to face him but Shivaay shrieks at the top of his voice and Anika closed her ears with her palms.

A- What's wrong with you, Shivaay?

Shivaay looks at her with a puppy face.

S- Wo... Umm.. Wo...

Anika gives a naughty smile to him.

A- Are you scared?

Shivaay puts up a brave facade and says-

S- No.... No.... I am not scared. Tumhe pata nahi hai kya ki Shivaay Singh Oberoi kisi se nahi darta. (Don't you know that Shivaay Singh Oberoi is not scared of anything.)

Anika looks behind Shivaay and makes a horrified face. Shivaay notices her face.

S- What happened, Anika?

A- Shiv... Shivaay... Bho..... Bhoot.... BHOOT.. (Shiv... Shivaay... Ghost....... GHOST..)

Shivaay gets scared and shrieks. He immediately hides behind Anika.

S- Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh...... Hey bhagwaan hume bhoot se bacha lo..... Mummy please mujhe bacha lo..... (Oh God Please save us from this ghost... Please mummy save me..)

Anika looks at him and starts laughing loudly.

A- Bade aaye Shivaay Singh Oberoi kisi se nahi darta..... Hahahaha... Phattoo.. ( Shivaay Singh Oberoi is not scared of anything...... Hahaha hahaha.. Coward)

S- Don't laugh ok. Jab bhoot tumhe khayega na tab pata chalega. ( When ghost will eat you then you will come to know.)

Anika rolls her eyes and went downstairs and Shivaay followed her.

They saw a broken vase on the floor.

A- Ye kaise gira? (How did this fell?)

S- Main toh keh raha hoon ki.... (I was saying that......)

Anika glares at him.

A- Shayad hawa ki wajah se gir gaya hoga. (I think it might have fallen due to wind.)

They were about to go to the bedroom when they heard some sounds from under the sofa. Anika was going towards the sofa when Shivaay stopped her.

S- Anika, don't go there. It's dangerous.

A- There's nothing dangerous, Shivaay. Let me see.

Anika went towards the sofa and bend down on the floor to look under the sofa. Shivaay closed his eyes in fear.

Anika was amazed to see under the sofa. It was

Anika smiles widely and held it in her hands and take it out from under the sofa.

A- Toh woh tum thi jisne ye sab kiya. ( So it was you who did all this.)

Shivaay looks at Anika and then at the kitten.

S- Ye? ( This?)

A- Yes. She was the one who broke the vase and then hid under the sofa.

Shivaay sighed in relief while Anika chuckled at him.

A- Dekho tumne papa ko kitna dara diya. ( Look how much you scared your dad.)

Anika says while looking at Shivaay. Shivaay was shocked after hearing Anika.

S- Papa?

A- Aur nahi toh kya? Dekho iski bhi aankhe apki jaisi hain, Billuji. ( See, her eyes are also same like you, billuji.)

S- Fhat the wuck! You can't call me that. Main iss billi ka papa nahi hoon. ( I am not the father of this cat.)

A- Aap hi iske papa hain....aur main mummy. (You are only her father.... And I am her mummy.)

Anika says the last line shyly.

Shivaay looks at her weirdly.

A- Chaliye kitty ke papa, kitty ko bhook lagi hai. ( Let's go, kitty's papa, kitty must be hungry.)

S- Par kitty ki mummy, hum kitty ko khilayenge kya, humare paas toh kuch khane ko hi nahi hai. ( But kitty's mother, what will we feed her? We don't have anything to eat.)

Suddenly kitty jumped from Anika's hands and catches a mouse.

S- Lagta hai kitty ko uska khana mil gaya. ( I think kitty has got her food.)

After Kitty's dinner😂, Anika held kitty in her arms and they went to the bedroom.

Anika made kitty lye down on a chair.

S- Kitty ko toh sone ki jagah mil gayi. Ab hum kahan soyenge? (Kitty has got her place to sleep. Now where we will sleep?)

A- When Anika is here, then there is no need to fear.

Anika removed the bed sheet from the bed and a lot of dust gets released in the air. Shivaay starts coughing badly because of dust.

Anika immediately ran towards him and starts caressing his chest.

A- I am so sorry, Shivaay. Mujhe nahi pata tha ki apko dust se problem hoti hai. ( I didn't know that you have problem with dust.)

Anika says with teary eyes.

Shivaay calms down a bit and looks at Anika who was very worried for him. He held her hands in his.

S- It's ok, Anika. Tumhari galti nahi hain. (It was not your fault.)

A- Ab theek ho? ( Are you fine now?)

Shivaay nods his head while wiping her tears.

S- Main theek hoon, Anika. ( I am fine Anika.)

Anika sighed in relief.

A- You scared me.

She slowly hits on his chest and Shivaay chuckles at her. Anika hugs him and Shivaay also hugs her back.

A- Kitty ke papa bahut naughty ho gaye hain. ( Kitty's father has become very naughty.)

Shivaay smiles widely.

S- Kitty ki mummy bhi kam naughty nahi hai ( Kitty's mother is not less naughty.)

They chuckled and hugged each other tightly. Their moment was broken by Kitty's 'Meeoowww'.

Shivaay and Anika immediately broke the hug and starts looking here and there feeling awkward.

S- Ummm.. Let's sleep.

A- Yes. I have cleaned the bed. Let's sleep.

Anika lied down on the left side of the bed while Shivaay lied down on the right side. They had a distance between them but let's see if the distance remains same till the morning. 😉😉
