(Readers POV)

Glynda's class just got back to Beacon. We got back from some red forest and all we did was collecting tree sap. I didn't really see the point of the trip, so I just spaced out for most of it.

Ruby: That trip was fun.

Yang: I'm just glad we basically got out of school for a day and the weekend is starting.

(Y/N): Is that all you think about? Just thinking about the next break you will get.

Yang: You need to take breaks every once in a while.

I sighed and crossed my arms.

(Y/N): What are we going to be doing for the weekend?

Yang: You are actually wanting to hangout with us? Beacon is already changing you for the better.

(Y/N): Don't get the wrong idea. I just don't know anyone else here to hangout with.

Yang: Yeah, sure.

Yang was giving me a smirk. I looked away to not see her mocking me.

Weiss: I plan that we go to Vale.

Ruby: Why?

Weiss: There are students that are coming from other schools for the Vytal Festival. I want to give them a proper greeting here.

Yang: You just want to get an advantage by seeing the competition.

Weiss: Shut it!

Weiss started to blush and got mad at Yang. I guess Yang guessed why Weiss wants to go to Vale.

Ruby: We should go then. It will be pretty fun. Even if the reason we go there isn't that good. Come on team. We are going to Vale.

(Time skip)

We are in Vale. We are walking at the docks. There are stands selling stuff and ships are coming and going.

(Y/N): Seeing students here was a great idea.

Weiss: Hey! You can stop making fun of me now.

I looked around and saw two cops yelling at someone on a light post. He was blonde and was hanging off the light post with a monkey tail. He was eating a banana.

Cop: Get down here! You no good stowaway!

Sun: A no good stowaway would have gotten caught. Do you know where I could go to get to Beacon? I need to go there for some festival.

Cop: Like we would tell you.

The cop got a banana peel thrown at his face. The Faunus jumped down and ran past us.

Weiss: What a bad person.

(Y/N): I think he said something about being for the festival.

Weiss: Quick! We have to observe him!

Weiss, Ruby, and Yang ran off. I shrugged and ran after them. I caught up to them. We turned a corner and Weiss pumped into someone. The person Weiss pumped into was a girl with orange hair.

Weiss: Sorry about that.

Penny: It's ok. Salutations, my name is Penny.

I looked around and didn't see the Faunus.

(Y/N): Great. Coming here was just a big waste of time.

Ruby: I'm Ruby. We need to get going though. Bye friend.

Ruby waved at Penny and we started to walk away.

(Y/N): We are going back to Beacon. Thanks for wasting my time, Weiss.

Weiss: No one forced you to come here.

Yang: Weiss is right. You didn't need to come here.

I looked away and blushed a little.

Yang: That Penny girl was kinda weird though.

Ruby was walking but fell to the ground. I looked ahead and saw Penny in front of her.

(Y/N): When did she get here?

Penny: What did you say to me?

Yang: Crap, you heard? I'm so sorry.

Penny: Not talking to you. I'm talking about her.

She pointed at Ruby, who just got up.

Penny: You said I'm your friend. Am I really your friend?

Please Ruby. Don't say yes. I don't want this girl to be following us around the whole time.

Ruby: Yeah, we are friends.

Penny: I have a friend!

She hugged Ruby. I sighed and started to walk away.

Yang: Where are you going?

(Y/N): Leaving.

I walked down the street. I am making my way to the bullhead that we arrived at Vale with.

Yang: You really are a good team member. Leaving your team behind.

(Y/N): Aren't you doing the same thing?

Yang: I am with you, so I'm not leaving a teammate behind.

(Y/N): Did you follow me just to lecture me?

Yang: I just don't want you to be lonely.

(Y/N): I am not lonely.

Yang: That's what a lonely person would say.

I feel like I'm going to pop a blood vein. I turned to face her.

(Y/N): If you are just going to patronize me, you can get out my sight!

I shouted at her. Yang took a step back in surprise. I turned around and continued my walk.

(Yang's POV)

(Y/N) was walking away. I was taken back from his response. His temper must be short today. He usually can take a little teasing. Is something wrong? I walked up to him and put my arm on his shoulder.

(Y/N): What now?

He said with malice in his voice.

Yang: Whats wrong?

I said with concern. He turned his head to look at me. He seemed a little confused.

(Y/N): What are you doing?

Yang: I want to know what's wrong. You seem small tempered today.

He sighed and looked ahead.

(Y/N): Today has been pointless today. First we go to a forest to some tree sap and we wasted our time here at Vale.

Yang: We had fun during the day, right?

(Y/N): I didn't.

Yang: Well, what do you want to do?

He looked at me surprised.

(Y/N): You actually want to do something with me?

I gave him a nod. He scoffed and looked away.

(Y/N): Like I would fall for that. You are just going to want to do what you want to do and waste my time.

Yang: Just answer the question. What do you want to do?

(Y/N): Fine. I want to train, so I can beat you.

Yang: Then let's train together.

(Y/N): You want to train with me?

Yang: Yeah! It would be fun. Plus, who would be the best person for you to train to beat me then me?

He chuckled and looked at me.

(Y/N): Alright then. I won't hold back, even in training.

Yang: I wouldn't want you to hold back.

We got to a bullhead and went to Beacon. When we landed at Beacon, we headed to the gym area. We found it and went inside.

(Y/N): Alright, we are here.

Yang: I'm surprised that no one else is here.

(Y/N): I guess no one else wants to train but me.

Yang: Well, come on. Let's get started.

(Y/N) punched at me. I dodged and looked at him.

Yang: A sneak attack? That's not very fair.

(Y/N): In a fight, anything is fair.

He jumped back and gave me a smirk. I smirked back. I got into a fighting position. We ran at each other and we threw a few punches. We dodged each other punches. I grabbed his fist.

Yang: This is getting fun.

I went for a kick, but (Y/N) jumped and kicked my head. I fell down but kept my hold on his fist, causing him to fall down with me. We fell down to the ground.

Yang: Looks like we tie again.

He got up and extended his hand towards me. I grabbed it and he pulled me up.

(Y/N): We still have a lot more training to do. That tie won't last long.
