"This is not safe!" Ayame said. "We don't even have a  white flag or anything!"

"Oh, shut up." Raiden said.

"I agree with Ayame," Keisuke said, looking around. "We might die."

"We are going to die," Ayame said. "If I'm lucky, I'll be able to escape death for the fourth time."

Shika rolled her eyes. "Come on! Calm down! We'll be fine!" She said.

"That's exactly what Miwa said before she died." Ayame sighed.

"Who's Miwa?" Natsume asked.

"Just a friend of mine." The girl answered.

"I think we're getting very close." Mizuki declared.

Out of nowhere, a small white wolf pup jumped out of the bushes. He was slightly transparent with pure white eyes.

When he saw the group, however, his eyes turned black, his eyes full of excitement.

"FREEZE AND SURRENDER WHERE I CAN SEE YOUR HANDS!" He said.

"Ummmm." Touma said.

"YOU'RE MY PRISONERS! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!" He squealed with excitement.

"Ghost! You don't yell things at random!" An older wolf teen said.

"Yes, Stardancer." Ghost said, meekly.

Stardancer was a lavender wolf with purple eyes. She smiled at the group. "Hello, my name is Stardancer," she said. "And I apologize for Ghost's behaivor, he's only 7, very immature."

"AM NOT!" Ghost protested.

Stardancer rolled her eyes. "Don't worry, we'll escort you to our Clan's territory." Stardancer said.

The group nodded as they began to follow the wolves.

When they got to the territory, a slightly older black wolf with white paws and a white tipped tail approached them. "Hello, Stardancer, Ghost, newcomers." He greeted.

"Hi, Nightfall!" Stardancer said, as Ghost ran off to some of the younger pups. "Where's Moonlark?"

"In her favorite spot." He replied.

"Oh yeah, silly me." Stardancer said.

Mizuki and the others followed Stardancer to a cave full of rolled up papers.

"This is our library, each scroll has a story in it, and we have paper to write even more stories." Stardancer told them.

"Can I take a look?" Ayame asked.

Stardancer smiled. "Go right ahead."

Ayame began to look at each scroll, before pulling one out to read.

"Hi Moon!" Stardancer exclaimed, and a slightly smaller teal wolf with white paws and a white tipped tail looked up, her cobalt eyes radiating a thoughtful and anxious aura.

Oh, Moonlark must be Nightfall's younger sister. He must be a year older at least. But so must be Stardancer, but something tells me that Moonlark and Stardancer is very close in age. Mizuki thought.

"Oh, hi Stardancer." Moonlark said, smiling.

"These are my new friends," Stardancer said, waving her paw at them. "This is Moonlark, my girlfriend."

Mizuki noticed that Moonlark's tail was wagging with excitement.

"It's nice to meet you, especially face to face." She said, nodding at Raiden.

Raiden nodded back. "It sure is." He agreed.

Moonlark rolled up the scroll she had been looking at. It was pretty long scroll and looked very incomplete

"I'm writing," Moonlark said, shyly.

"Moon's an excellent writer." Stardancer said.

"Cool, what's the book you're writing?" Shika asked, curiously.

"Um, I'll let you read it when I'm finished." Moonlark said.

"She's very conscious about her work, she won't let anybody read it until she's finished." Stardancer told them.

"Not even you?" Keisuke asked and Stardancer nodded in response.

"Some of the Spirit Wolves are not so pleased about our relationship." Moonlark said.

"Why?" Ryū asked. "Because you're gay?"

Moonlark groaned.

"No, it's because well, our Packs merged together.," Stardancer explained. "And there's still some tension."

"Wait, what do you mean merged?" ouma asked.

"The Soul Wolves," Moonlark said. "It consisted of Daybreak, who was our Alpha, me, my brother, Skylight, Blackout, Lunar and Wisp."

"The Soul Wolves? Huh, didn't sound like you had a very big pack." Raiden commented.

"It used to be bigger." Moonlark said.

"It's true, but most of them starved." a turquoise wolf with some interesting wave like patterns said. "Oh, this is Aibek," Stardancer said. "One of the last legendary Spirit Wolves."

Aibek grinned.

"One of the last?" Mizuki asked. "Then who's the other?"

Stardancer bowed. "I was raised and hidden in the Spirit Wolf Clan," she said, shifting a bit so they could see the slight pink andish purple swirls in them. "I just found out about two years ago." she smiled. "I'm the other last Legendary Spirit Wolf, and Aibek is my littermate."

"Wow." Natsume said, shocked.

"So yes, there's still quite some tension between the members," Moonlark said. "The Spirit Wolf Clan never really did think about the possibility of other Spirit Wolves out there, so my former Pack usually starved most of the time."

A black wolf with red eyes was snarling at a silver and white wolf, who was missing an ear.

"Come on, Shadewalker! I was Alpha once! I know how to lead!" The silver wolf said.

"I'm a natural leader, I'll be the next Alpha when our current Alpha passes away!"  Shadewalker argued. "Besides, you had like, what? 10 pack members? Daybreak, Alpha chose me."

"Shadewalker is the oldest teenaged wolf there is, other then Daybreak, Moon's former Alpha." Stardancer said.

"Shadewalker sounds horrible." Mizuki said.

"He's not that bad, he does care for us, especially Ghost," Stardancer protested. "He just wants to be Alpha very badly, he likes being in charge."

"It sounds like it." Keisuke said.

"Daybreak was a very good Alpha," Moonlark said. "That's how she lost her ear, from protecting us," She coughed, embarrassed. "Besides, it's Blackout you should worry about, he's much older then Daybreak and is a complete jerk."

"Thanks for the heads up." Ryū said.

Moonlark shivered and looked up.

"What is it?" Stardancer asked.

Moonlark opened her mouth and said,

"Claws of betrayal and darkness.

Invasions of a moonlight menace.

Fangs of the traitor's demon eyes.

Shadows of his hidden lies."

"Um, what?" Akinori asked.

"Moon can sometimes see the future." Stardancer replied.

"Cool, can she tell us everything that will happen?" Ryū asked. "Say the words 'Tadashi dies painfully and slowly.' And I'll give you anything."

Moonlark gave him a look. "I don't think that's quite how it works," She said in a serious tone. "And I'd rather not, even if I did know."

There was a long pause of awkward silence.

"Well, I hope you enjoy your time here," Aibek said."Just try not to get Blackout angry."
