Angie's POV

He was under the table, gripping the side and shuddering. I tried to touch him to move him, but he screamed out as loud as he could. Tears fell from his eyes as he screamed and cried from under the table. The chaotic rain just made the situation worse. After a minute, he stood up, as though in a trance. He walked over to the door and pulled it open. The water poured in as it fell, and he ran out into the mud and wet. As he dropped to the ground, something seemed to leave his eyes. I ran out to him, but he screamed again. He seemed to really believe that he was in grave danger. he was just frozen again, but now he was freezing in the cold autumn rain. i was shivering from being out for less than a minute.

And now he refused to come back in, saying "There's no point. This will be quicker. EEE!" He screamed when lightening stroked across the sky. Thunder boomed, and he was long gone. I had no idea what to do or how to help. Then I got an idea. I ran inside and pulled the napkin slip from under the table where it had fallen. I punched the top number into the phone and slammed dial. It didn't take even a full minute for the girl to pick up.

"Alex is outside, he won't move, it's cold and I think he's in danger.  We're at dorm 47." A female voice screamed into the phone, "I'll be right there!"

Peggy's POV

When her phone rang, the girl flew out the door. "ALEX! ALEX!" She screamed, running through the freezing rain. When we got there, I saw Angie, eyes widened with fear. I saw a boy with platinum blond hair, frozen and scared to death in the mud. I has to stare for a moment. Jasmine pulled him out of the mud despite his protests. She slowly moved him into the house as he failed at pulling away. Then she took him into the bathroom and we didn't see them for a while.

When she emerged a minute or two later, it was without Alex, and only to bring new clothes for him. After that, it was hours of a closed door. Eventually, the storm died down,

"Angie, what... what happened?" She paused. "I... I don't know. He freaked out when the rain started. He went outside like he was just a... A sacrifice! He was just so ready and sure... He gave me Jasmine's number, and someone else's. I don't know who that is, though." She paused. "I panicked. I didn't know what to do, so I called Jasmine. I know there were definitely other ways of saving him..." She didn't say anything else, but handed me the slip of paper with the phone numbers on it.

"Wait a minute... Angie, this number on the bottom looks familiar. Is it... I think it might be the number in..." I grabbed Jasmine's phone where she'd dropped it and turned it on. No password. She's asking for it! I went right into her contacts and down to the unknown number. Who could this be? I compared the number on the paper to the one in the phone. They were identical.
