Angie's POV

After a couple hours, Jasmine emerged from the bathroom with a tired Alex next to her. He looked like he'd been through hell and back, but he would be fine. Jasmine let him sleep for a while. Then she turned to us. "I bet you two need some answers." We nodded.

We all sat on the couch as Jasmine explained everything.

"Alex... Has major mental problems. Anxiety, depression, ADD, the whole nine yards. That's mostly come from childhood trauma. The thing with rain is from that-- When he was a teenager, he was almost killed in a hurricane. He lost the last of his friends and family, too. It's bad. When it rains, he thinks the hurricane is back for him, and he goes outside so that he will die quicker, to make it easier. The other number in my phone is his therapist, who has not been extremely helpful. Whatever, though. Alex is my life and the main thing a worry about, or care about. I can barely leave him alone, and if it's raining... Well, I have to hold him where he is."

I stared at her a moment. "That's... That's terrible!" She nodded. "It's hard, but look. It's been three years and he's still alive! I know you want to hear more, but you should go back to your dorm now. The rain's stopped and it could be a while before Alex wakes up." We said goodbye, and left once Jasmine had promised to call us when he woke up.

When we got home, there was a letter in the small mailbox outside the dorm. Peggy picked it up and frowned at the address. "I... I don't... Hm, I don't recognize this address. Do you?" I shook my head. She suspiciously peeled back the flap and pulled out the folded up paper. She unfolded it slowly and gasped. "Angie... This is from Eliza!"

Sorry for the extremely short chapter but there's so much information in it that I can't reveal any more! I'll update extremely soon!
