A few days later,
After internship ended,
UA High School,
Class 1-A,
Early morning...

Midoriya's POV

When I arrived at the class, there was nobody in here at all. I was the only one here. I put my bag into my locker and then walked to my sit. It felt so nice to be alone once in a while since it was a perfect chance to clear my mind.

I went to school very early today since I didn't want to encounter with Shinso-kun. I wasn't ready to face him yet.

I took out my phone from the pocket to kill some times before my other classmates arrived. As I turned it on, I saw a message from Shinso-kun that I received at the night I fought with Stain. I tapped on the message and read it.

Wow, longer than I thought it would be.

Shinso-kun🐱: Hey Midoriya. I just wanna say sorry if I have done something that hurt your feelings. Honestly said, I was still confused about why you are very upset about stealing my first kiss. I don't really mind about it actually, Midoriya. I'm sorry but I'm not good at reading people's feelings so I don't really understand why you are so frustrated back then. But I'm still hoping we both can stay friends. Will you forgive me and be my friend again?

My eyes became teary when I read his message. I hugged my phone in my chest, tears trickled on my soft cheeks as I recalled all happy days and moments I spent with him.

Idiot... I'm really such an idiot! I made Shinso-kun felt guilty. If only I explained to him properly, he wouldn't have to ask for my apology. I'm the one who should do that!

I wiped off my tears with my sleeves. I stared at the phone screen long before nodding in determination.

Yes, I have decided! Today, after school I'll meet him and apologize to him! I want to start everything over again!

And to kill sometime while waiting for my other classmates to arrive, I took out my hero analysis notebook to write down some new informations I got. A few minutes passed in the blink of an eye as I was too focused on my hero notes that I lost the track of time.

The door was suddenly opened, revealing Iida-kun who was standing at the door. "Good morning, Midoriya-kun! You're very early today." Iida-kun greeted me happily while walking toward my direction, doing his usual strange hands motion.

"Um, actually, I just wanna be alone for a while to clear my mind. That's why I came early." I told this earnest boy, resting my chins against my palm. "Hm? Why did you want to clear your mind?" Iids-kun asked out of curiousity.

I raised up my head and stared at him long before I spoke up again. "Iida-kun, do you hate Shinso-kun?" I questioned Iida-kun and as expected, he seemed very suprised.

"I don't particularly hate Shinso-kun but I disagree with his rude manners toward our classmates, that's all. I hope he can get along with us but he doesn't seem really friendly." A sigh escaped his lips at the end of his answer.

"I see. Thanks for your opinion, Iida-kun." I smiled widely from ear-to-ear to him, thanking him from the very bottom of my heart. Iida-kun nodded to me and gave me a small smile before returning to his seat that seemed to be a bit far away from mine.

I then focused my emerald eyes back on my hero analysis notes, jotting down more new informations that I got with me. Many loud footsteps were heard outside and I bet they were finally here.

Kirishima-kun and Ashido-san barged into this quiet classroom, surprising Iida-kun who was reading a book attentively that he almost threw the book in the air. Followed behind them were Sero-kun, Hagakure-san and Ojiro-kun. "Kirishima-kun! Ashido-kun! I told you don't run in the hallway!" Iida-kun got up, scolding the duo who didn't give a care about him.

A silent chuckle left my lips, amused to see Iida-kun giving advices to Kirishima-kun and Ashido-san who looked like they would faint any second from now, tired to hear his endless talking.

"Morning, Midoriya-chan!" Hagakure-san greeted me happily. I smiled slightly at her and we both started chatting. From the topic of our internship, we both then changed subject to girly things.

The students continuously to enter the classroom, making this silent spacious space sounded noisier and more lively now. My eyes suddenly caught a boy figure with indigo hair, walking into the classroom.

Shinso-kun...

I was surprised to see a band-aid was plastered on his left cheek. Just what happened to him during his internship?

Shinso-kun walked passed me but didn't greet me like he usually did and only proceeded to head to his seat in silent. I heard him pulling his chair and I was about to turn my body to talk to him but too bad, Aizawa-sensei was finally here.

I sighed long and called off my intention. Guess I would talk to him after school then.

.....

After school,
Evening,
On the way back to the apartment...

Midoriya's POV

Before I went to see Shinso-kun, I decided to head to the park first to go feeding Mikorin, the cat that I had been feeding since last year every time I returned from school.

This cat suddenly showed up herself out of nowhere. Back then, I was eating my animal cookies that my mom baked for me and then Mikorin suddenly showed up. Ever since then, I had never forgot to feed her.

I was holding a packet of cat's food that I just bought at the supermarket on my way here. As I arrived at the park, I saw Shinso-kun was climbing on a tree and Mikorin was up there too!

Shinso-kun carefully took Mikorin that seemed very scared. "Come here, kitty. It's alright, I won't hurt you." He said in such a soft, gentle voice, trying to get the kitten feeling comfortable with him. Mikorin slowly walked to the purplette, maybe she believed in him. Shinso-kun then gladly held her in his right arm while his left hand was hodling onto the branch, trying to avoid himself from falling.

(I know he isn't in UA uniform so just imagine he is in it.Picture isn't mine. Credit to the original creator.)

Shinso-kun cautiously climbed down the tree. "Shinso-kun! Mikorin!" I hollered the two's name in relief when the two finally got down. Shinso-kun looked surprised to see me here. "Midoriya?" He stared at me long.

I approached those two and patted Mikorin's head. This female cat started purring, feeling happy with my gentle touch. "Thanks goodness you're fine, Mikorin." I said in relief, eyes still looked at the cat.

"Meow~" She started meowing when she saw the food packet in my hand. "U-Um, Shinso-kun. How about we sit at the bench?" I invited him and he delightly nodded.

We both walked to the bench and sat on it while Shinso-kun put Mikorin down. I took out the green cat food bowl that I used to put the food in for Mikorin.

I placed it right in front of Mikorin while I poured the food into the bowl. "Here it go Mikorin. Enjoy your meal~" I said in happy tone. Mikorin meowed happily and then began eating the food.

Shinso-kun only observed my action in silent, not saying a word. "U-Um, Shinso-kun..." I finally had the courage to talk to him. I looked down, not wanting to make eye contact with him.

"I-I'm so sorry about what happened back then. I-I don't know why I behave like that after--" I paused there when I felt such a warm sensation on my hand. I raised up my head a bit and darted my eyes to my hand. My eyes widened a litrle when I saw Shinso-kun was holding my hand.

"It's okay, Midoriya. I already forgave you." Shinso-kun exclaimed, a warm smile tugged on his lips. I raised up my head higher and we both made eye contact, gazing deeply into each other's eyes.

"T-Thanks, Shinso-kun." I said while holding his hand back. "So we're friends now?" Shinso-kun asked me in hope. I closed my eyes and smiled happily at him, nodding my head non-stop.

I suddenly felt a head nuzzling on my leg so I turned to look at it. Turned out, Mikorin was nuzzling her head on my leg while her blue iris looked at me. "Meow~" She started meowing non-stop. "Aw~ You want a cuddle, don't you?" I cooed at her, lifting her body up and placed her on my laps.

Shinso-kun sat closer to me to play with Mikorin too. He was very closed to me that there was no space left between us.

H-He is too close!

Shinso-kun patted Mikorin's head and she purred at his soft touch. I smiled warmly at this cat and joined Shinso-kun too, patting her soft, fluffy fur.

Ah, I hope I can bring her home.

I darted my eyes to look at Shinso-kun. He seemed very happy when he play with Mikorin.

I hope I can see his smile forever.
