Evening...

Shinso's POV

I only stared at Midoriya who was playing upsie-dipsie with this cat she called Mikorin happily. A big smile plastered on my feature.

So cute...

"Mi~ko~rin~" Midoriya cooed at the the female cat, earning a loud yet affectionate meowing from Mikorin. Mikorin then nuzzled her head on Midoriya's happy face, purring softly at her.

Midoriya put the cat down on her laps, stroking the cat's soft fur gently while I patted her head and played with her ears. She purred loudly,feeling pleasent when I touched her ear.

"Aw~ She really loves it when someone play with her ears." Midoriya stated, a bright smile tugged on her lips. A gasp escaped her mouth out of nowhere. She lifted Mikorin up without a warning, causing the female cat to meow loudly, complaining with her sudden rough attitude.

"I was right... Your belly seems bigger than usual..." Midoriya turned to look at me, her beautiful face clouded with concern and pity. As I heard her words, a rush of realization hit me.

"She is pregnant?" I asked her, slightly doubted her expectation. Midoriya agitatedly nodded, turning her head facing Mikorin back.

"I hope I can bring her home but my mom is allergic to cat..." Midoriya said sadly, a heavy sigh left her lips. Her eyes became a little watery as she brought the cat into a warm, affectionate hug.

"I'm worried... Little kids around here aren't very nice with animals... I'm afraid they will..." Midoriya couldn't continue her words as tears trickled on her cheeks fast.

"How about I keep her in my house?" I suggested, staring at Midoriya long. As expected, she was surprised, her eyes widened a bit. "R-Really? You want to keep her?" She asked me expectantly, her face brightened up in hope.

I smiled at her reassuringly, slowly nodded at this innocent greenette. Midoriya gasped in extreme happiness. "You hear that, Mikorin? Shinso-kun will be your owner now!" She beamed in happiness, lifting up Mikorin in the air, spinning her body in circle repeatedly.

"Thanks so much, Shinso-kun! You're my savior!" Midoriya smiled at me brightly, the brightest one she had ever showed to me. My heart started beating fastly, feeling a bit excited when she gave me such a pretty smile.

As I was lost in my thought, something poked my nose. I was startled that I almost fell on my back. I heard giggles coming from Midoriya. "Sorry, did I surprise you?" Midoriya apologized in playful way, giggling adorably at me.

"You got me, Midoriya. I never knew you are good at teasing people." I joked along with cheerful chuckles escaping my lips. "Now, how about we head home?" Midoriya invited me, cheerful smile formed on her soft, pinkish lips.

I nodded to her obediently, not opposing her idea. Midoriya then handed over Mikorin to me. I held this pregnant female cat cautiously, being very careful so that I didn't hurt her.

Me and Midoriya then headed back to the apartment where we lived, chatting and joking along the way there.

At the apartment,
Outside their house...

Midoriya's POV

"See you later, Mikorin!" I patted this orange feline softly, her small body was held gently in Shinso-kun's strong arms. "Um, Shinso-kun..." I called him out nervously.

"Hm, yes?" Shinso-kun stared at me long, waiting for me to answer. "C-Can I come to your house t-to play with Mikorin?" I stumbled upon my words, feeling very nervous and embarrassed with my selfish request.

Shinso-kun let out chuckles, his amethyst-coloured orbs gazing into my jade-coloured iris. "Why not? You're her caretaker after all. You can come to my house anytime you want to." He replied while stroking Mikorin's fluffy head.

I gasped in happiness, closing my eyes tight while tugging my best smile on my lips. "Thanks, Shinso-kun! Then I'll see you tomorrow!" I said, excusing myself and turned the doorknob. "See you later, Mikorin!" I said goodbye to the cat, tuning my head facing her, earning a loud meowing from her as a reply.

A wide smile formed on my feature before I entered the room, only to be greeted by Mom who was smiling widely ear-to-ear. "I'm home, Mom!" I said, hugging my beloved mother warmly. Mom returned the hug, patting my back kindly.

"Welcome home, sweetie." Mom welcomed me back, a kind, calming smile plastered on her chubby yet so beautiful face. I broke the hug and excused myself to take bath, cleaning myself. After a few minutes, I headed to the dining room. "Hm? You seemed very happy today, Izuku." Mom noticed my change of mood.

I sat at the dining table while Mom went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. "I make up with Shinso-kun." I told her the good news but all of sudden, Mom dropped the spatula she was holding still in her hand just now.

"W-What?! You make out--"

"No, Mom! I said 'make up'! Not 'make out'!" I stood up to defend myself and corrected my mom, retorted at her in extreme shock and embarrassment, not expecting and surprise to see her misheard my words. Mom sighed in relief, calming expression plastered on her feature.

Gosh, why she is always like this whenever we talk about Shinso-kun?

"O-Oh, I see.... I-I misheard just now. Sorry, Izuku..." Mom awkwardly apologized to me, scratching her green hair sheepishly. I chuckled and then shook my head, telling her I wasn't mad at her.

I then sat back on my chair and waited for Mom to finish cooking. I turned on my phone and to my surprise, Shinso-kun sent a media message to me. I tapped on the message icon.

I squealed in excitement when I saw the cuteness in his picture. It was a picture of Shinso-kun who was grinning widely, dispalying his shiny white teeth with Mikorin in his hand, hugging the cute feline.

A playful chuckle escaped my lips. I was very relieved they got along very well. I then started typing my message for him.

Shinso-kun🐱:Come here. I'll hug you too.

Me💚:Nope! I just wanna hug Mikorin. Not you, Shinso-kun.😁

Shinso-kun🐱:You're so mean...😥

Me💚:Jeez, fine. I'll hug you. *hug you~*

Shinso-kun🐱: No, I want a real life hug. I'm serious

I stopped typing and stared at my phone with my cheeks flushed red.

W-What is he thinking?!

For some reason, my heart started beating faster and became unstable. A weird desire grew in my heart, making my cheeks felt so warm.

I-If he wants a hug that bad...

I quickly stood up and jogged toward my house entrance, leaving my house to go to my neighbour's house next door. I eagerly knocked on the door three times, waiting for him to open.

Shinso-kun finally opened the door, standing before me. He was smiling awkwardly while averting his eyes from my gaze. "Sorry, Midoriya. I'm just teas--"

My body moved on its own, wrapping my arm around his well-built body to warm him up. Shinso-kun gasped in suprrise but still hugged me back.

Just what's gotten into me?! Stupid hormonessss!!!!!

My face brightened with deep crimson shades as I still embraced my friend. "C-Come on, Midoriya. It's just a joke, okay." Shinso-kun stuttered letting me go from his embrace. I sighed silently, offended since he broke the hug.

I wanted to stay like that longer... Because it felt so warm... Shinso-kun's warmth already enveloped my whole body...

Why am I so desperate to do so....?
