Chapter 3

Sophia POV

I woke up to the sun shining on my face, I groaned as I blink multiple times to adjust to the light.

I heard a noise coming from the other side of the room, I gently turn my head towards the noise, only to see a nurse, fixing my drips stand thingy.

I stared at the middle-aged woman.

I tried to sit up but instead I touched the lady by mistake, sorry.

"Oh!" she said startled, "you scared me, and good morning, did I wake you up honey?" She said as she frown

"No, no you didn't, it's okay good morning by the way" I smiled

Maybe she can tell me why am here...I thought as I asked.

"Can you please tell me why am here?" I begged.

She give me a sympathetic look, and said "sorry, but I can't give you that information..but I could get the doctor for you" she smiled, as she walked out the door.

Sighed, God why am I here?

A few minutes after

"Hello, Miss James" a deep voice said, making my head turn to the direction the voice came from.

"Oh, you startled me doctor!" I exclaimed, as he examine my eyes, and hands.

"Sorry, how are you feeling?" He asked in a concerned voice.

" A little exhausted but am okay doctor,  I have a few questions if you don't mind I asking" I said unsure

"No problem at all Miss James, I knew you would have questions. I mean this position your in can be very confusing for you" he said smiling.

Okay. Here goes nothing,

Deep breath

"
Why am I here?"

"You got in an accident, you was on your way to the church, to attend your wedding, and the driver died on the spot while you suffered a concussion in your head, two broken ribs, and one fractured one. " he said sadly

Wedding day?

"Why can't I remember anything like that?" I frowned

"Because you have amnesia Sophia" he said.

"Huh?..." I stared at him speechless.

What!?

Run that by me again

I have amnesia

I have a fiance?

The man, yesterday oh my god I was so mean to him...

Sigh this explains so much...

"Uhh, thank you doctor" He nodded and walked away.

"By the way, I will discharge you today, so your fiancé will come in a bit to pick you up" he notified, before he stepped out the room.

My fiancé, but I don't know him

I thought as I brought my hands to my face.

"Sophia?" A calmed voice said.

I know this voice

I look up to glittering eyes fill with tears, "mom" I choked

She nodded as tears ran down her face, "yes, baby your alright" she cooed "thank God" as she hugged me and kissed my hair.

Suddenly she let go as her face turned serious, "Sophia, I know you forgot Alex, but I pray these pictures I brought help bring back your memory" she frowned

"Here sweetheart" she said while handing me the pictures then she kissed me on the forehead.

"Soph, I love you, Alex loves you please don't make him run away with his hands in the air." She joked as she walked out the room

Sigh

I looked at the pictures on my lap.

The first picture was with the man whose name is Alex and me hugging, while he kisses my cheek, we look so happy.

I wish I remember this...

Second and third was with us in a family get together, and I was eating food that 'Alex' was feeding me.

The rest was with us cuddling in a couch, and running in the beach and other crazy moments

I really wish I remember these moments. I thought as I put down the pictures and looked out the window.

Alex POV

I was on my way to the Hospital, when I got a phone call that Sophia was going to be discharged.

I was overwhelmed, I guess I have to put plan 'get her back' in action earlier than I thought....
