Sophia POV

My chest fell to my stomach, when this man whose name is Alex told me my boyfriend is in jail.

I didn't know how I felt, sad? Or relieved?

But wait...

How does he know Stephen used to abuse me?

Is he stalking me?

Why is he hugging me, and crying to?

Why do I feel safe in his arms?

All these questions, I frowned. I never felt safe in Stephen's arms, because the only time am in his arms, is when he is choking me.

I always wanted to tell someone about it but he threaten me, if I ever left him he will kill everyone I love, and trust me he isn't bluffing when he says that.

I sighed, God who really is this man?

I opened my eyes, to Alex who's hugging me like if I am about to vanish.

He kept whispering,

"Please believe me" I studied his face, there's something about him,

I just can't put my finger on it.

"Ummm" I said as I cleared my throat, "I believe you" I whispered my voice sounding a little raspy.

A smile appeared on his face as he kissed my cheek, "thank you so much. You have no idea what it means to me, for you to say that" he said with every word dripping with emotions as he raise his thumb and wiped a tear that escaped my eyes.

I just stared at him, as I felt my stomach doing summersaults

What was that?

I never felt such a feeling before, I just shook off that feeling as I cleared my throat "uhh, I think we should be going"

He stared at me for at least a minute, then his eyes opened big as he caught what I meant.

"Ohhh, we should, it's kind of getting late and you have to eat m'lady" he smiled as he went back in his seat.

M'lady?

That word, sounds so familiar I just can't remember why. I felttears threaten to escape as my heart squeeze every time I was think about the word 'remember'.

How could I not remember an amazing person, like the man next to me?

I sighed.

"Sophia, earth to Sophia" Alex said shaking me by the shoulder

"Huh?" I said confused, as I stared at him.

"You zone out on me" he frown as he continued "I been a telling you that we're home."

"Remember anything?" He said with a little hope in his voice

I shaked my head "no, sorry" I frowned as I let my eyes roam the gorgeous house.

"Wow" was the only words that came out my mouth at that moment

"You like it?" he asked as he paused with a frown "of coarse you do, you picked it" he said as he scratch the back of his neck

"Well let's get you settle and I will prepare food" he mumbled as he grab my hand, I felt a my stomach doing those weird things again, as I felt a shock when our hand met.

Woahh what was that? I thought as I stared at the man pulling me in the house

Why does this feel so right?

"So Sophia, this is our room" he said breaking me out of my thoughts as I looked up and stared at the room, it was painted purple, black and red, to be honest I found it beautiful and unique, I walked toward the king size bed and saw drawings of dinosaurs painted on the wall, I giggled at how childish it was.

"It's beautiful" I said in awe

"And so are you" I heard the voice behind me, I spun around to see Alex staring at me

Here goes those feelings again..
