Reviewer's Remarks: On this present day it feels as if fortune has smiled upon me. I have read a total of three stories which have all been immensely joyful. This story does not cease to amaze me.

'First Love, First War, First Step' is a dystopian romance. The 'founding laws' which have been implemented by a future generation consist of regulations which must be followed in order to assure that they do not fall like their ancestors and that individuals do not decease at a young age.

This is a heart shattering story - love, confusion, heartbreak, turmoil, rebellion. This was an appealing work - especially for myself as I avidly read dystopian novels.

Usually when I come across a book with an intriguing plot it usually consists of continuos grammatical errors and is written in simple text (i.e no vocabulary or descriptions). This book succeeded in delivering both an intriguing plot and impeccable usage of grammar (excluding minor misconceptions in spelling). Enough said. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Rating (out of five): 4

A note to the author: I was surprised to come across such a well written and concocted dystopian romance. I loved how you didn't drag the story (otherwise this review would've been published the following day) and the way you described the rebellion and the character's emotions.
