Reviewer's Remarks: I was gradually getting into the story and savouring the dystopian tale when I realised there were only five chapters. :(  'Renegade' is a fictitious dystopian adventure which centres around a female protagonist. In this particular story, the future government has founded a system of castes based on wealth. Each faction is classified by a letter of the alphabet - 'A' being the wealthiest, 'B' being ordinarily wealthy, 'C' the middle class, 'D' the unfortunate, and 'E' who are subject to slavery.

A renegade - in this story - is an individual who questions the said laws and caste system of the new government and strives for freedom and equality. Our protagonist - who is revealed to be a renegade further into the story - is classified under the 'E' caste which signifies that she is a slave.

As far as I have read (till the fifth chapter) said character is exposed to be a renegade and is in the process of embarking upon a life-threatening rebellion against the new government.

As I have disclosed in previous reviews - I am an avid reader of dystopian teen fiction, so it is not flabbergasting that I have enjoyed this work. However, I felt that there were a few minor plot holes - like how this new government was established, how had Mila ended up becoming a subject to slavery (this is briefly mentioned in the story though I didn't fully comprehend it), or what had happened to her mother. Though, I feel the author will reveal these further into the story.

The writing style is satisfactory - apart from errors in the tenses and spelling mistakes which may be fixed by editing. I loved the depiction of the character's emotions and how each individual had their own personality.

A note to the author: Updating regularly with chapters of sufficient words are what achieves a widespread amount of readers. Wattpad readers adore regular updates. I really liked this work - it is very promising if you are able to utilise the story and characters to your advantage. Btw, your cover 😍.
