    Welcome to my Chatroom, people (Cameron, Nora, Wendy and William, that's you :P)! I've finally gotten around to setting up this little corner of the Internet for us to chat, mingle, and other shit outside of the diner wherever else we eat together :P

Reviewer's Remarks: 'Status: Online' is a young adult short story. It is depicted in the form of messages between a group of friends. The author also includes precise descriptions in a few chapters.

Reading through chats between other individuals is boring - in my opinion. However, the author presented the messages between these group of friends in such a way that the audience does not lose interest.

The author manages to portray each character's individual personality. Note that this is a major achievement - especially considering that the story was presented through messages.

There is no particular plot to this story - it is simply for entertainment. Although readers do savour entertainment it should be noted that in order to keep readers hooked the author must offer an intriguing and engaging plot.

A note to the author: This was an interesting read. The display of chats between a group of friends was an aspect I enjoyed. However I must inform you that readers relish stories in which they are offered an intriguing plot. Your story has no particular order - it is simply a jumble of witty text messages between adolescents. The story has major potential - if you are able to proceed and edit it properly.

Your lack of plotting is my only concern - other than that, your dialogues are engaging, your characters are likeable and the concept is intriguing.
