Yeah, I really shouldn't be the leader of this team.

I was standing in front of a giant multicolored octopus thing, in an even bigger dark tube. The Octopus was wriggling and staring at us, as the tube glass sported a big crack.

"No, not Mr. Octy!" cried Maxwell. He ran to the machines near the tube and started clicking and turning knobs.

"We need more manpower, Mr. Octy woke up and there was no one to look after it." said Hope helping Maxwell with the machines.

"Isn't this the first space villain you defeated Maxwell?" asked Snawman casually admiring Mr. Octy who was still trying to break the tube. "What is this tube filled with though? Isn't this villain from space?" 

"Yes this one is from space and we created an artificial living tube for it, it keeps Mr. Octy in deep sleep." answered my teacher while fixing the tube.

"Why can't we just kill it?" asked  a superhero I am not familiar with from behind.

"It is not possible to kill it, and not advised to keep it in contact with our atmosphere."

"Why though?"

"He releases a very bad odor." 

"Just that." someone said snickering.

"Yeah just that, a bad odor that can black out anyone in 10 meter radius." Hope said annoyed.

The lights and alarms stopped and Mr. Octy closed his eyes again. He did look harmless with his eyes closed.

"We wanted to ship him back to his planet but his species is quite hostile towards the ones on the Milky Way Galaxy, we have no choice but to keep him right now." explained Maxwell.

"So, we are still looking for any solution to the agent problem, but till then I need all of you to do their duty ok?" ordered Hope, her tight black bun and Asian eyes taking my breath away.

"Umm... Can I maybe if you allow, of course, station my team? You know I could give them roles according to them." I asked trying to be confident. 

"Ok, sure." she answered back. She looks great when she answers.

"When I said yes to you stationing everyone, I didn't agree with you being here." Hope's annoyed voice said as I sat directly looking at her.

I did actually distribute all my team their jobs that they could do. Maxwell with Mr. Octy, Snowman in the snow villain room, Some superheroes on the entry and exit, and some helping my teacher so that left me with the main and most important duty, keep Hope safe.

"I can take care of myself, stop following me around." She said, scrunching her nose a little, looking so adorable.

"Well, you never know. You are an agent too, I have to keep an eye on your safety as well." I replied still staring at her, she just rolled her eyes.

"So.... are you dating someone?" I asked, she completely ignored me, still eyes on her iPad. "I mean, you are an agent so you are single, right? Not like you can't be taken or anything, because you are really beautiful so it would be totally logical if you are not single but you seem like the type to be sing-"

"Can you stop that?" she asked annoyed.

"Stop what? Falling for you? I don't know if that's possible." 

"If you do that, I'll throw you out of that freaking window." she threatened going back to her work. So I went to the said high-tech window and pried it open forcefully.

"What are you doing?"

"Checking how high the drop is to see if it's worth it." I casually replied looking down at the thirty-story building. "Yeah, maybe after I get my superpowers back." I said a little guilty.

To my surprise, Hope chuckled but quickly covered it up covering up her face with her tab.

Wow, I made my crush smile!!!
