"It's........Kite."

"What!" Shark yelled.

"I'm....sorry Shark, but, I like Kite more. He's like a brother to me."

"No. I...get it. It's cool." Shark says.

"Are you sure?" You ask.

"Yep." He replies.

"See you." He says, turning around.

"Shark!" You yell.

"Yes?" He says with his back turned.

"I'm sorry."

"I know." He says.

He continues to walk until you can't see him.

"That must have been hard for you y/n." Kite said.

"Well....yeah. But, I do like you more. Shark is a great friend, but, I guess I connect with you at a deeper level." You explain.

"I see." Kite says.

"Well, I better get going." Yuma said, turning around and leaving.

That left you and Kite there alone.

"I should take you home." He said, offering his hand. You take it.

You walk home making small talk. But it works. You make it to your front door.

"Thanks Kite. For taking me home."

"It was nothing."

But you didn't want to leave Kite yet.

"Can we just sit on the steps?"

"Yeah." He replies.

You both take a seat on the step. That was when you realized that you were tired. So you lie down on Kite's lap, and you put your legs on the same step you are on. Kite started stroking your hair, making you even more tired. So you close your eyes. After a couple of minutes you fall asleep.

Kite picks you up and takes you inside. He lays you on the couch in the living room. But when he lies you down on your left side it wakes you.

"Sorry." He says.

"I..it's ok."

He crouches in front of the couch. He tries to stand up but you grab his arm.

"Don't go yet."

"Ok." He says softly.

You move off the arm of the couch and you move a bit closer to the edge of the couch and Kite climbs over you and lies down beside you. Your head in his chest. He starts stroking your hair again. And soon your cheek. This fulls your stomach with butterflies. You turn your head up to face Kite. He starts leaning down towards your face. You feel his lips touch yours. And they get pressed together. But only for a few minutes you are embraced in a kiss. You turn your head back and Kite continues to stoke your cheek and head. This soon puts you into a deep sleep. Kite presses his lips to your forehead and carefully gets up, trying not to wake you. He finds a blanket and puts it on you. Then he gives you one more kiss and opens the door to leave.

"See you tomorrow." He whispers.
