Ruby (POV)
It's the middle of the night and I'm still watching over Zack. I'm starting to doze off from watching him. I her footsteps come behind me.
???- You're still up? He's gonna be fine sis.
Ruby- I can't myself. You'd do the exact same thing if was Ethan.
Yang- True but you're no good to him or us if you're tired. C'mon. Get some sleep. We have a big day tomorrow.
Ruby- (yawn) Alright you win.
I get up and kiss Zack's forehead all leave to get some sleep
Timeskip
The next morning Maria, Qrow, Oscar, Weiss, Blake, Yang and I went to the military base to seek a ship. They shut the gates before we could even speak.
Yang- Oh come on!! You didn't even hear us out!!
Atlasian solider 1- Our orders are clear! The Mistral Atlas border is closed.

The soldiers look at each other then look back at us.

The gate burst open and the soldiers come back.

She looks behind me.
Caroline- What are you doing back here?!! I thought I told you to leave!!!
I turn around to see NJR.
Nora- I told you I wouldn't rest until you let us through!!!
Jaune and Ren has to hold her back.
Ren- Nice to see you again as well!
Caroline- You civilians are clearly incapable in comprehending the importance of our mission here in Argus! So allow me to say this slowly with smaller words. This base! That relay tower! The very safety of Argus are all gifts from the glorious kingdom of Atlas. And it is my duty to uphold them as I have the wit and tenacity to do so.
Maria- Or Atlas just wanted to get you as far away from the kingdom as possible.
Caroline- Argh! You're just like the rest of the Argus ingrates. This city wouldn't even be here without our Atlasian ancestors and what do we get for it?! The entire world is ready to put a knife to our throats!
Ruby- Please. We know your kingdom had nothing to do with the fall of beacon. We were there.
Weiss- No one's happy about the Atlas border or embargo but I know General Ironwood is just worried. It's why we need to talk to him.
Caroline- The General is no coward! Atlas is strong! If all the kingdoms plan to make us their enemies then so be it! Atlas will prevail! If miss Schene has truly come to her senses and wishes to return to her family then of course the Atlas military will escort her home. But the kingdom will not be responsible for her friends of questionable character.
Weiss- What's that supposed to mean?
Caroline- It means we're done here.
The go away and the gate closes.
Nora- Oh yeah? Well your face looks like uh.. a big dumb boot!
Jaune- (sarcastic) Way to show her Nora.
Weiss- I don't
Ruby- Weiss. I told you we wouldn't leave your side for a second. We'll find a way to Atlas. Together.
Qrow begins to walk away.
Ruby- So where are we going now?
Nora- Yeah what's the plan?
Qrow- The plan? The plan just got shut on our faces three times over. I'm going for a drink.
I run in front of him.
Ruby- Uncle Qrow I really think we should try and come up with something.
He ignores me and walks off.
Jaune- What's his problem? It's not your fault we can't go on.
Nora- If he's gonna be a jerk then we'll just come up with something without him. I mean we got Ozpin with us. I usually knows what to do.
Everyone but NJR look at each other.
Ren- What is it?
Timeskip back to the house and one big explanation later
Jaune punches a hole in a wall.
Ruby- Jaune!
Jaune- Everything we did was for nothing!
Blake- That's not true.
Nora- Really?! Because it sure does sound like it!

Ren- If Salem can't be killed them how are we supposed to win this? Zack can't even kill her and he's has a god inside him.
We all stand around in silence for awhile.
Jaune- Wow. Great plan everyone.
Oscar- Look none of this is great we know but we're not the bad guys here.

Jaune slowly walks to Oscar.
Weiss- He didn't know any of it!
Jaune grabs Oscar by his collar and holds him against a wall.
Jaune- How much longer can we even trust him?!!
Yang- Jaune!!
Jaune- How do we even know its really him?!! What if we've been talking to that liar this whole time?!!
Ruby- Jaune!!
Jaune begins to glow red and his body freezes.
Jaune- What's happening to me?!!
???- (serious and cold) Jaune. Stop your shit.
The voice came from the stairwell. We look in that direction to see it's Zack with his eye changed and right hand extended and surrounded by hellfire.
Author: Well another chapter is in the books. NJR know about Ozpin's secret and seems that the group is turning on each other. Also Zack is awake. Yay.
