Zack (POV)
I put my arm down but the pain from my wounds hurt me. I wince in pain and clutch my chest. Ruby comes rushing up to me.
Ruby- You ok?
Zack- I'm fine. I just hurt all over. All the commotion down here woke me up so I got up and come to find Jaune holding Oscar looking like he was about to beat him up. So what happened?
Yang- Well everyone knows Ozpin's secret and they aren't taking it to well.
Jaune let's go of Oscar and he walks up to me. He shoulder checks me and walks the rest of the way upstairs and goes in a room and slams the door.
Ethan- Is he gonna be ok?
Nora- I don't know!
She gets up from the couch and walks past me up the stairs.
Ren- I think it would be best to have some time to ourselves.
He does the exact same thing that Nora did.
Blake- Maybe we could all use some space.
Zack- Sounds good. I gotta go out and get a new shirt anyway. My jacket can always be patched up.
Ruby- I'll come with you.
Zack- No. I need time to myself.
I walk the rest of the way down the stairs and out the house.
Timeskip
After a had a conversation about my eyes with Maria, Blake called me.
Ruby- What is it?
Yang- It's Oscar. He's missing. I've tried calling Zack but he keeps refusing my calls.
Ruby- Well lets go out and find both of them.
Dante- Right.
Meanwhile in The realm of darkness
Emerald (POV)
I was in the training room thinking while Mercury shadow fought behind me.
Emerald- I hate being kept in the dark like this.
Mercury- Yeah. Cinder was a pain but at least she kept us filled in.
Emerald- Can I ask you something?
Mercury- You're gonna.
Emerald- Why did you come with us the night Cinder and I found you?
Mercury- Why are you
Emerald- Just answer the question!
Mercury- Just made since.
Emerald- It made since?
Mercury- All my life my father trained me to be a killer. An assassin like him. Moments after I killed him, you two showed up looking for someone with my exact skills. Just felt like it was meant to be.
Emerald- That's it?
Mercury- Hey what's your problem?
Emerald- I mean there has to be something you want from this right?
Mercury- Salem's promised us everything. If we win this thing for her, we'll be top dogs in her new world. What more do you want?
Emerald- I just.....Cinder was the only family I ever had. She cared about me and taught me things. Without her here, I don't know if what we're doing
Mercury- Wake up already. Cinder doesn't care about you! She doesn't care about either of us!
Emerald- You don't know what you're talking about!!
Mercury- You're in denial and if you going to have a crisis in identity or some crap, keep me out of it.
I snap and attack him. He blocks my punches with his forearms and I throw a spin kick which he steps back to avoid. I try to hit him with s jumping right punch but he catches my wrist.
Mercury- I'm sorry you didn't ha mommy to love you but I had a father who hated me. (Pushes Emerald back) He never went easy on me. Every day of training was a beating. I unlocked my semblance and he stole it with his. (Punches Emerald and she ducks) This is a crutch. (Throws a kick and misses) This makes you weak. He told me I can have it back when I'm strong. So I got strong but I never got it back. I've had to work harder than anyone to get where I am. You may need like it here without Cinder but I think I'm right where I'm supposed to be.
We hear laughter and Tyrian comes from the the shadows.
Tyrian- (sarcastic) Oh yes the world is mean and I'm a big bad man now just like the others.
Mercury- How long have you been standing there?!!
Tyrian- All you ever learned was pain and violence and now you're too afraid to leave it. Such a tragedy.
Mercury goes up to Tyrian.
Mercury- You don't know me!!
Mercury throws a kick but Tyrian leans back and kicks Mercury in the back causing him to fall on his face. Tyrian hops on top of Mercury and puts his new mechanical tail at Mercury's throat.
Emerald- Hey!!
Tyrian- Shhh. I want to tell you both a little secret. Your question is all wrong.
Emerald- What?
Tyrian- (chuckles manically) What you want from this? Children please. If you're not loving what you're doing then you're in the wrong field.
Emerald- So what? Are you saying we should just leave?
Tyrian- Oh no. No no no no no. You can't do that.
Mercury- Then what did you come here for?
Tyrian- To say farewell. (Retracts stinger)There has been a change in plans. Her grace must act swiftly if we are to prevail. If General Ironwood comes to his senses and calls upon aide Vacuo, all will be lost for us. So the good doctor and I are being sent to Atlas to prepare.
Emerald- Prepare for what?
???- Tyrian!
Arthur appears in the doorway.
Arthur- It's time.
Tyrian gets off of Mercury.
Tyrian- Do what makes you happy children. Please? I'm begging you.
He frowns  menacingly and aims his stinger at us in a threatening way. He slowly backs away and laughs maniacally as he and Arthur leave on their mission.
Author: So Oscar is missing, Zack won't talk to nobody, Emerald and Mercury fought and Arthur and Tyrian are headed to Atlas too. This is gonna be interesting. Hope you guys enjoyed the chapter. Sorry for it being shorter than the others.
