The Party — The Surprise

Whether the party was ending or not was debatable. It was certainly dying, however.

"This is odd," Zap said. "We haven't been gone for that long. Last time we were here, it was still wild."

"Maybe it's a time thing," Pacifia offered. "What if time moved faster there?"

"I don't think so. Maybe it's not fun."

"That's probably why the orb came," Angel said. "So that we could come back here."

"Most likely," Quake said. "How about we go liven it up again?"

"Let's do it!" Zap said. They spread around the party, asking people why they were bored and fixing it. In a matter of moments the party was livening up.

"Success," Quake said.

"That—" Angel was interrupted as they saw a bright light shine from the entrance. The four of them went to see what it was. As the light died down, they saw Penelope.

"I remember you!" Penelope exclaimed. "Zach, Patricia, Angel and Drake!"

"Hey, Penelope," Angel said. "What brings you here?"

"I saw the light again, so I went to go check it out for myself. It was odd when you four didn't come back. Where is this place?"

None of them knew what to do. Quickly, Zap said, "I'll be back. Wait here." He ran to get Professor Elemental. He figured that he could sort things out.

Pacifia said, "He's going to grab someone. Don't worry, we'll get you settled here. None of us are bad."

"I should hope so," Penelope said. "That wouldn't be in the Christmas spirit, would it now?"

"Exactly!" Quake said. "Everybody's in the Christmas spirit!"

Zap came back with Professor Elemental shortly after. "Good day, miss," he said, looking at Penelope. Kindly, he said, "What is your business here?"

"I didn't know what was on the other side of this light," Penelope said. "But I know these four amazing people."

"Really?" Professor Elemental said. "Well, there is a party going on at the building you see ahead of you. Of course, you can join them. I'll properly introduce you to some people." He walked into the Electric main building with Penelope.

"Odd," Quake said.
