Part 15 — New Victim

"Zap, you need to tell us about what happened. This time, you have to say everything that happened. I'm not going to hesistate to make you say something," Xin warned, gripping her knife at her side.

"You don't have to worry about it," Azyra assured. "Just talk about what you saw when you left, and you'll be fine."

"I'm not sure I feel comfortable with that..." Zap began to say.

"We want to help you, Zap, we really do." Momoko sat down beside him. "But you have to describe everything so that we know about it. If we know about it, we can help you as best as we can."

"The whole entire story?"

"Absolutely. Don't leave out details," Xin said.

"Okay then, here goes..." Leaving out no details, Zap recited everything that happened to them. Once he finished, Momoko asked, "A tall, buff guy named Ed? Ed Westbay?"

Zap required no further explanation. "He goes to your college?"

"He's in three of my classes. Apparently he's known for harming more students than everyone else in the college combined. I myself haven't been hurt, but..." Momoko stared at Zap. "What are you even going to do?"

"Kill him," he replied, as if that should be obvious.

"You're going to what?" Momoko stepped back, worried.

Azyra placed her hand on Momoko's shoulder. "This thing is common for us," she said, softly. "You'll get used to it eventually."

"I sure hope I don't..."

"You're going to have to, unless you want to live with us while also be afraid of us," Xin said. "They hurt us and hurt others, so we have to do what we have to do. We take action."

"Okay..."

Zap grabbed the gun from under his pillow. He looked at the other girls, worried. He thought back to his experience with the other Zaps. "Um...can you all just sit this out?"
