"Ah, is that my Mijo?" Marco looked up from the paper work when Romeo walked in. "Estas haciendo aqui?"

"Buscรกndote." Romeo sighed as he walked fully into the hotel lobby.

"Oh?" Marco rose an eyebrow. "For me, you say?"

"I wanted to say something." Romeo leaned on the counter while his Dad stood on the other side. "You know how Lily is getting married soon?"

"Ah, yes. I do get to walk her." he gave him a knowing look. "You don't approve of Annie?"

"I adore Annie." he shook his head. "It just crossed my mind that it's the same weekend as her birthday."

Marco hummed. Romeo shrugged. "And she said I should invite Imogen."

"Who is this Imogen?" he frowned his large eyebrows, though they had been neatly threaded.

"Dad, are you serious?" Romeo laughed. "She was just here."

"I don't know names, Mijo." he waved him off quickly. "Demasiada presiรณn. Demasiada presiรณn."

"The blonde girl that was with me the other night?" Romeo suggested. "Well, the two front pieces are really blonde. And her eyes were very blue."

"Ah." he smiled with a snap of his fingers, giving a shoulder shake. "Pretty pretty girl my son brings home."

Romeo squeezed the bridge of his nose in embarrassment. "Can we not?"

"Have you told Abulita? She always ask when you'll bring a respectable chica home." Marco smiled, his teeth painfully white. He always was such a looker, Romeo liked to think he got his looks from him.

"No, please don't tell Abulita." he begged. "She'll meet her at the wedding."

"You'll pay the price for that one." he gave a point. "So, you come to me for advice to win her over?"

"Nooo." he shook his head. "I come to you to ask if she could just stay."

"Stay in the house?" his eyebrows shot up.

"Imogen says her parents will be out of town the weekend of the wedding. And her sister works late now, so I figured if she was already coming to the wedding and she'll come to Lily's birthday...." Romeo trialed off.

"Mhm." Marco gave him a smirk. "I know all the tricks in the book."

"There is no book and no tricks!" he defended himself with risen hands.

"Ah, how do you think you're Mum had Lily at seventeen?" Marco pointed at him. "I knew the tricks, Mijo."

Romeo cringed as he shook his head. "Not at all what I was hinting at."

"Fine, the Imogen with the hair can stay." he waved him off. "Does she speak Spanish?"

"Imogen?" he had to laugh. "I think she'd probably attempt to and say something offensive without realizing it's offensive."

"Ah, okay." Marco exhaled as he pulled his phone out. "How do you send a pink?"

"A link." Romeo circled the counter. "Let me see."

Marco looked down as Romeo took his phone. "That pink."

"Link, Dad. It's a link, not a pink." Romeo shook his head again. "What is this?"

"Teach your Imogen to speak the basic Spanish if you want Abulita to be happy." he hummed as Romeo sent him the link. "That's all Annie learned before she approved of her marrying Lily."

"Really? I thought she didn't approve at first because she was homophobic." Romeo gave an odd look.

"No, no. Annie just couldn't speak spanish to save her life." he shook his head as he took Romeos face. "Ah, let me look at you."

Romeo sighed, because his Dad did this often when they had a one on one. He laughed. "You look like me."

"You don't have a painfully large amount of freckles." Romeo shook his head. "Neither does Mum, and literally no one else in the family."

"Beauty marks." Marco held his chin. "Be happy you got them, you could have gotten your Mums big ears."

Romeo cracked a grin. "I gotta get going, Sports Day starts in a few minutes."

"Mijo!" Marco called as he walked away. "I love you."

Romeo gave a half way embarrassed look. "I love you too."
