NO ONE P.O.V

A loud growl left Jungkook as those Alphas launch towards him but all of those attacks are pretty much useless, Jungkook would break their neck, tear them apart or even throw them away till they pass out. Mother Maria had turn into her wolf form. Looking at Jungkook, she hesitated to leave.

She need to leave as soon as possible and ask for help but things didn't go as expected when she saw one of the wolf manage to claw Jungkook's shoulder. Growling Jungkook throw the Alpha away, the Trueblood seem frozen for a few moment before he took a step back.

If it wasn't because of the Alpha King is in his wolf form, Mother Maria could feel that he is smirking. Jungkook suddenly transform back to his human form, kneeling on the ground, he glance at his arm that are bleeding. He's not healing. What is going on?

Jungkook can't heal himself. He lift his gaze and look around, there's still many wolves that are surrounding him "What's the matter son? Can't heal?" There's mockery in the Alpha King's voice causing Jungkook to realise something. The tea...

Realisation hit him when the Alpha King laugh "Despite being a Trueblood, you can't even smell the wolfsbane in your tea." Jungkook bit his bottom lips, no wonder, the wolfsbane is blocking his sense and abilities. Gulping the lump in his throat, Jungkook stood up and growl defensively at them.

"Look at the Trueblood, all helpless and powerless." His father chuckled "what the hell are you doing? Where the hell is my mate?!" Jungkook roared as the Alpha King turn back to his human form. He just smiled at Jungkook "what can you do even if I tell you? Your ability are limited now."

Jungkook grit his teeth as he went into his fighting position "but my will are unlimited." He replies making the Alpha King scoff "pathetic." As soon as he said that, those wolves launch towards Jungkook but the Trueblood had fight his entire life.

He can take on a few Alphas with raw strength although it would be difficult. Even with an injured arm, he still manage to knock out some wolves. Knowing that the fight are not going to bring any good, The Alpha King decided to step in causing Jungkook to back off instantly.

With heavy breath, Jungkook hesitated, if everyone said that he is fierce in battlefield, the Alpha King is worse, he's brutal. Jungkook can defeat him if he have his full strength, that's no doubt, but in this condition, he doubt it "is that hesitation?" His father tilt his head and raise his left eyebrow.

"Being around omega make you go weaker, my son." The Alpha King scoffed "what kind of father are you? How could you do this to me? I'm your son!" Jungkook hissed at his father "I've been doing this since you was just a child. It was you who are too weak and pathetic. Trusting people just like that, even your own father can betray you."

Hearing that, rage built up in his heart as he launch towards his father with no hesitation, totally forgetting about his condition. "Jungkook No!" Mother Maria call out but to her dismay, a fight had broke between the Alpha King and the Trueblood.

There is a huge difference between the two. The Alpha King had his full ability while Jungkook is as good as a normal human. Mother Maria clench her fist, worrying about Jungkook's safety, she have to do something.

Jungkook wince when he felt his wound keep bleeding profusely. Luck wasn't on his side when the Alpha King attack his leg, causing it to bleed as he fell on his knee. He lift his gaze and widen his eyes when the Alpha King bring up his claw. Shutting his eyes, Jungkook felt helpless at the moment as he waited for the pain.

ROAR!

Mother Maria jump towards the Alpha King in her wolf form causing the Alpha to halt his attack and back off. Jungkook let out a breath upon seeing Mother Maria fighting with the Alpha King using all her strength. This omega, who always lower her head around Alphas, fight the Alpha King today...

Just to protect Him.

Growling in frustration, the Alpha King throw the omega away causing her to turn back to her human form. Wincing, she grab her arm and try to stood up but the Alpha King just kick her in the face causing her to fell once again, "Mother Maria!" Jungkook call out as he attempt to run towards her, only to fell once again.

Fuck this shit!

He can't even heal, let alone stand up or even defend himself. Being the Trueblood, he never felt so useless. He always protect everyone, but why? Why can't he protect the most special woman in his life? Tears start brimming in his eyes as he watch mother Maria got beaten up by his own father.

"Stop it you bastard! Just goddamn hit me and leave her alone!" Jungkook yell at him as a tear slide down his cheek. The Alpha King let out a breath as he glance at Jungkook and then he let out a chuckle "Did you just shed a tear?" He asked in disbelief

"How dare you cry? How dare you fucking shed a tear?! You pathetic Alpha! You fucking call yourself an Alpha?!" He growl at Jungkook who just grit his teeth. The Alpha King pull out his sword and went towards Mother Maria causing Jungkook to panick.

"What the hell are you doing?! Don't touch her!" But his warning was ignored when the Alpha King pulls Mother Maria's hair, forcing her into a kneeling position. Mother Maria let out a breath as she look at Jungkook in front of him. Seeing the male, breathing and alive, a smile appear on her face.

"Mother Maria?"

A 9 years old Jungkook call out as Mother Maria look at the little boy. "Hmm?" She hummed in response. Jungkook keep silent for a moment as he watch the ocean in front of them "what it..." he trailed off as he hesitate.

"What if one day, you die and I'm still here?"

When that question left the boy, Mother Maria was caught off guard. Why is he asking such a question? Looking at the boy, Maria know, he miss his mother and he was scared to be left alone. She form a small smile and move closer to the boy.

She hugged him and place a soft kiss on his forehead "then, you'll be all grown up, and you won't need me." She reply with honesty. Maria knows, Jungkook is a briliant boy, white lies won't work on him.

Life and death are inevitable

Life had make her met such a wonderful boy and she knows that death will be her last goodbyes towards him. Jungkook keep silent as he slowly lean towards the hug. Silent engulf them for a moment when Jungkook speak up once again.

"I think I'll always need you."

Mother Maria smile sadly at Jungkook and Jungkook know what she is trying to tell him. This is the last goodbye she was talking about. No. He wasn't ready for this "No- it wasn't suppose to be like this." He whisper to himself as his gaze start to get clouded with tears

The Alpha King stood behind the omega as he bring up his sword "these omegas just make you more pathetic as an Alpha, it's time to toughten you up" he smirked but Jungkook's gaze remain on mother Maria who just smile assuringly, despite knowing that she is going to die.

"You're the strongest person in this world, my son but I'm sorry..." she trailed off as a tear slide down her cheek. Jungkook didn't blink, he saw everything as he bit his lips helplessly. With a smile on her face, she said.

"I can't be as strong as you."
