Japanese Translations:
"Hamato Briana, mitekudasai." - "Hamato Briana, look at me."

Enjoy!

"The day that I was born, I was turned into a vessel for a demon spirit and gained not just a prophecy on my shoulders but a huge amount of power that practically made me a target for a whole lot of bad people. Did I ask for it to happen to me? No, but sometimes fate plans these things out and I, for one, would go on a whole lot of adventures find out why I was chosen for it."

SOREN WOULD BE lying if he said that he wasn't even the slightest bit interested in the kranng and their reason for hunting down the turtles and the two teenagers. He was standing next to his son while Jake was standing next to Karai as the two watched their father interrogate the alien brain.

"Why were you hunting the turtles, Henry Hart, and Princess Briana?" Shredder asked the alien that he was holding by the head in the air. The creature glared at him and screeched, thrashing his tentacles around frantically.

Karai smirked. "They don't talk much outside their little houses." She told him as she patted the droid beside her on the table.

Shredder looked at her for a second before shoving the alien into the empty droid piece. The alien thrashed for a bit before closing its eyes and going still. Then, the robotic torso powered up as the droid turned on, its eyes now pink.

"K-Ka-K-Ka-Kranng is lacking the knowledge to answer the questions that the one known as Shredder is asking of Kranng."

"Do they all speak like this?" Shredder asked, staring down at the alien.

"Pretty much, yeah." Cameron admitted with a shrug.

"Well, that's gonna get annoying real fast." Jake said, already not looking forward to hearing the alien now.

"Even if Kranng is possessing the knowledge the one known as Shredder will never be getting that knowledge from Kranng." The droid said.

Jake chuckled darkly while Karai stared down at it in amusement before she looked up at her father with a smirk. "You didn't have any other plans today, did you?"

Shredder turned back to face her. "Let's try again." He raised his hand and a blade shot straight out of his gauntlet and brought it to the alien's face. "Why were you hunting the turtles, Henry Hart, and Princess Briana?"

"The ones known as the turtles, Henry Hart, and Hamato Briana are protecting the lifeform needed by kranng," the droid said fearfully. "The one known as April O'Neil. The one known as Kazimeras is also needed to be handed over to the one known as Ethan Smith."

At the mention of that name, Cameron perked his head up. This Ethan Smith wanted Kaz, the very same city boyโ€”as Cameron refers to him asโ€” that his princess seems to be friends with? Although he could definitely use that to his advantage, he couldn't help but wonder what was so special about Kaz. Wasn't he just so commoner that was getting in his way of winning his princess?

"Who is this April O'Neil and this Kazimeras?" Shredder questioned.

"She is the one known as the one. She is the link which is missing in plan which is the plan of kranng. The one known as Ethan Smith has suggested we bring the one known as Kazimeras to him exchange for his help on modifying the mutagen."

"So, this April O'Neil is at the center of everything? And for whatever reason, this Kazimeras seems to be important to Ethan Smith." Soren said simply.

"Then, perhaps we can use this April O'Neil and Kazimeras to draw the turtles, Henry Hart, and Princess Briana out of hiding." Shredder moved his blade away and turned to look at Karai. "Karai, find this girl and bring her to me." Karai smirked, giving a small nod while Shredder turned towards Cameron. "Cameron, find the boy and bring him to me." Cameron nodded, holding back a smirk from meeting the boy that was ruining his chances of getting what he wants.

And with that, both Karai and Cameron turned around and began to walk away, leaving the area.

BRIANA WAS AVOIDING her brothers and sisters by hiding out in her bedroom. She had gotten up earlier than normal so she wouldn't have to face the others and sparred on her own a little within the dojo then after a while, she decided to freshened up and head back to her bedroom before the others got up or before Henry got to the lair for training. If she had to be honest with herself though, it's not that Briana wanted to avoid themโ€”she really didn't, but every time she wanted to try to talk to them about it, all she kept remembering how much it hurt to know that they've been keeping something from her.

Briana was sitting on her bed with her back against the wall, her sapphire blue eyes staring at the bright screen of her laptop, reading the page that she had looked up once again.

The myth of Princess Briana Gem Sentry is one of the world's biggest myths that nobody is sure is real or not. The myth has it that King Flash Sentry and Queen Twilight Sparkle made the ultimate sacrifice to send their daughter, Princess Briana Gem Sentry away to a safer place for her safety and legend has it that on the princess's fifteenth birthday, she will return to the kingdom...

Feeling eyes on her, Briana stops reading and closes her laptop to find Max sitting in front of her, staring at her. Max simply tilted his head as he stared at her, as if he was wondering what she was doing here rather than training with everyone else. Deciding that she's had enough of research, Briana set her laptop aside on her night table and looked over at her pet puppy, petting him behind his ears for a second, which made Max wag his tail excitedly.

"I know what you're thinking, boy," Briana said as she pulled her hand back, a small frown on her face. "I don't want to avoid them but it still hurts too much, knowing that they knew something about my past and instead of telling me, they kept it from me."

Max stared at her before he walked over to her, nuzzling his head underneath her hand so that way, her hand would get on top of his head. Briana smiled softly and started petting him again, making his tail wag excitedly.

"I know they didn't mean to lie to me and I'm not mad. I just..." Briana started before she stopped for a while, still petting Max. She sighed and continued. "Talking to them right now hurts too much right now after finding out that they knew."

Sensing her sadness, Max went up to Briana and jumped into his arms, licking her face. Briana giggled before she picked up the brown puppy into her arms and held him, staring at him with a warm smile.

"What would I do without you, boy?" Briana said, smiling warmly at him. "You are the bestโ€”and onlyโ€”puppy I've ever had."

Max just let out a small bark as if he was talking back to her as his tail wagged and he started licking her face again, only making Briana laugh as she grabbed his favorite chew toy in order to play with him.

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

ALTHOUGH SHE'S BEEN avoiding them, there was no way that she could find herself missing out on the new Space Heroes episode that was playing. At the moment, Briana was sitting a good distance away from the others with her sapphire blue eyes glued to the cartoon. Every now and then, she could feel the others looking over at her and as much as she hated doing it, she ignored their looks and kept her eyes on the tv, not being able to handle the hurt she felt that came with them not telling her. She just didn't have it in her to face them right now.

Asides from ignoring the terrible cartoon that was playing on the tv, Raphael was also feeding Spike his lettuce and Eclipse was sitting on the couch, reading a comic book while Henry was on his laptop. Leonardo and Michelangelo sat on the ground, but the orange masked mutant turtle was eating shrimp and sardine pizza while Leonardo brought the volume up for the cartoon.

"The landing part is under attack by the Digesters!" Crawnshaw shouted. "We have to save them!"

Captain Ryan slaps Crawnshaw across the face. "If we keep bailing them out, they'll never learn to take care of themselves."

"But, this is their first mission, and they don't even have weapons!"

"Then, they better learn fast," a woman then suddenly screamed. A sickening crunching sound issues, followed by a loud snap. "Say, Dr. Mindstrong, weren't you in love with that one?" Captain Ryan asked.

"I... was, Captain." Dr. Mindstrong said sadly.

"Well, it looks like you both learned a lesson today."

"Hey, guys!" They all looked over to see Donatello poking his head out of the lab doors. "Guess what April and I have been up to?" They all sat there in silent, waiting for him to continue. "That's right! Analyzing sewage!"

Raphael rolled his eyes. "Who says you can't show a girl a good time?"

"Come on," Donatello said as he ignored that comment. "You guys gotta see this." He turned and walked back inside the lab.

Raphael turned the tv off as they all headed for the lab. Briana bit her lip, remaining in her spot for a while as she debated on whenever or not she should go before she sighed, walking towards the lab in case it might be important.

'I'll hear this out then I'll go work on some homework.' Briana thought secretly to herself.

"Alright, Donnie," Henry said as they were inside the lab, gathered at his desk. "What is it this time?"

"April and I were going through some files on the Kranng storage device," Donatello began to explain. He was carrying a large jar of water, but it was green. "We found out they're using a special process to the change in Earth's water into Kranng water."

"They've already started the process," April said. "We found a low concentration of Kranng chemicals in the sewage."

"And I take it that's a bad thing?" Eclipse asked, pretty sure what the answer was going to be.

Then, they all watched as Donatello reached over and picked up a slice of Michelangelo's pizza. "Watch what happens when I dip this slice of Mikey's shrimp and sardine pizza into pure Kranng water." He raised the slice above the jar and slowly lowered it until the pizza was half submerged. At once, it started to sizzle and dissolve into smoke.

Michelangelo shrieked in terror while the purple masked mutant turtle pulled out what was left of the slice. "How do you sleep at night?" He complained.

Donatello ignored his brother's complaints about his pizza and continued. "Presently, there's only a tiny bit in the water supply. But, the concentration is increasing, which meansโ€”"

"Every slice of pizza in New York will be destroyed!?" Michelangelo questioned with a horrified look, as the others shook their heads at him.

"Along with anyone who uses water." April said seriously.

"I don't wanna live in a world without pizza!" Michelangelo said as he suddenly grabbed the large pizza box laying under the jar of Kranng water and snatched it out.

The jar flew to the air, the water flying out towards April.

"Look out!" Donatello warned.

The jar fell and shattered, and the water splashed onto April. They all screamed, and Donatello yelled out, "No!"

April winched, hand curling into a fist. But after a few seconds, nothing happened as April opened her eyes and stared down at her arm.

"Huh? Wha..."

"Nothing happened to you." Donatello said, amazed.

"Maybe it's cause she's not made outta pizza." Michelangelo said.

"Enough about pizza already." Eclipse told him, annoyed.

Suddenly, the computer started beeping and the purple masked mutant turtle rushed forward to look at the screen.

"The scanner's located the Kranng facility transforming the water supply," Donatello said. "Which is right here. We gotta stop it!"

"Looks like we got a mission," Leonardo said. "You coming, April?"

"Sounds like a blast, but unfortunately, it's on the bottom of the East River," April said as she grabbed her bag. "And, equally unfortunately, I have an essay due. Plus, I wouldn't mind a little human food."

"Pizza's human food." Michelangelo said.

April grinned. "Not the way you eat it."

"She's not wrong." Eclipse said with a shrug.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, y-you're going topside?" Donatello questioned as he crawled over his desk, tripped, and fell. "Oof! You got your t-phone, right?"

"Donnie, don't worry," April said. "I'll be fine." She smiled at him before turning and walking out of the lab while Donatello stood and watched as she walked away.

"As much as I'd love to skip out on homework, I have a history essay that's due tomorrow and I haven't even started yet," Henry said as he began to leave the lab. "Let me know how it goes."

They nodded and once he was gone, Leonardo turned towards the purple haired girl with a nervous look, knowing that she's been avoiding them lately. "So... uh, what about you?" He asked her, the others turning to face her as well.

Briana didn't said anything at first as she bit her lip. She wanted to go; she wanted things between her, the five mutant turtles, and Henry to go back to normalโ€”back to the times where looking at them didn't hurt just because they had kept something from her. As much as she wanted to go, her own doubts wouldn't let her make that decision, reminding her that not only did the five mutant turtles and Henry kept something from her but so did Master Splinterโ€”for who knows how long!

'They don't need you, none of them do. They proved it when they willingly lied to you. They never needed you.' Briana could hear her own doubts telling her secretly.

"Right, uh, I have a history essay to work on too," Briana admitted with a frown. "So, uh, I'm gonna have to miss this one."

The five mutant turtles glanced at each other before back at her, knowing that it was half of the reason.

"Bri, look, aboutโ€”"

"Uh, oops! Sorry, but I really wanna get that essay out of the way." Briana said, not letting the blue masked mutant turtle finish as she quickly left the lab while her brothers and sister could only glance at each other again with a sigh.

KAZ WASN'T STUPID. The entire time he was heading to Mr. Murakami's to pick up what his mother ordered, he could tell that he was being followed. By whoโ€”he had no idea, but he could hear the slight footsteps behind him and how quick they came to a halt whenever he stopped walking for a second. So, as he turned around into a corner and walked forward a bit, he let his footsteps come to a halt as the ones behind him from a few feet away did the exact same. Annoyed, he sighed and turned around with a frown.

"Alright, out with it," Kaz said, spotting the teenaged boy behind him. "Why are you following me?"

Cameron blinked, a little surprised that he caught on to him but he supposes if this peasant was being trained by Hamato Yoshi then, he shouldn't be surprised.

"Doesn't matter," Cameron said as he took a step forward a little. "Just know that someone wants to meet you."

"Right, and who the heck are you supposed to be?" Kaz asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Oh, my Princess hasn't mentioned me?" Cameron questioned with a smirk. "The names Cameronโ€”Cameron Chandler."

Kaz frowned slightly, his eyebrows creasing in realization as Briana's words came into his head.

"That's not what Cameron says. He says that to be a family, you have to share the same blood as them and I don't share that with any of them."

"Oh, so you're the idiot that told her all that stupid crap about "needing to be blood to be a family,"" Kaz said as he rolled his eyes. "You were wrong to said that to her, you know?"

"Oh, really?" Cameron asked with a frown, glaring at him. "And why is that? I was just telling her the truth about her so-called mutant family."

"You really don't know anything about family, don't you?" Kaz questioned.

"Uh, not true," Cameron said, offended by that remark. "Besides, my princess is better off without those freaks."

"I'm sorry, yours?" Kaz asked with a frown. "She's not a piece of property, you idiot. She's not your anything."

"Yes, she is," Cameron said with a pointed glare at him. "And she'll be with me a lot more faster if you'd quit getting in the way."

"Well, it's not my fault that I'm clearly better looking than you," Kaz said with a smirk. "Besides, I'm not the one that thinks she's a piece of property either."

Cameron clenched his fists, glaring at him. Oh, how he couldn't wait to get rid of him! With Kaz out of the way, it would be easier for him to win Briana.

"Whatever," he said with an eye roll. "You're coming with me, city boy."

"Gonna have to catch me first."

HENRY HATED DOING homework like any other student did. He stared at the empty Word document on his laptop that had just his name, date, class period, and the name of the essay on it, having no clue how to start itโ€”or how to even write the entire essay. Henry sighed and glanced down at the paper next to his desk, silently reading the essay prompt that his history teacher gave to the class.

Explain why you think the Crystal Empire is a myth or not (use everything you learned in class so far).

Henry frowned at the prompt, completely unsure of how he was supposed to write this out. He wasn't even sure if it was a myth or not! If everything that Master Splinter told him and the five mutant turtles is really true then, how on earth was he supposed to write it out? He groaned and leaned back in his seat, rubbing his forehead as he tried to figure out how to start his assignment yet he secretly begged for his t-phone to go off, giving him an excuse to worry about his essay later.

As if it was on cue, his t-phone went off and he glanced down at it to find Donnie written on the screen. He grabbed it, clicking answer as he held it to his ear.

"Hey, Donnie, what's up? Howโ€”"

"Henry! Thank shell you answered! Okay, where are you right now?"

"My room," Henry said into the call before he frowned, looking worried at the sound of his concern. "Donnie, what's wrong?"

"It's April. Karai's after her," Donnie's voice sounds panicked into the call. "And you have to call Bri because Cameron's after Kaz."

"What!?"

"Me and the others can't help right now, we're at the bottom of the East River! You and Bri are the only ones topside!"

"Okay, how do I find them?"

"There's a tracker in your t-phone. You and Bri can use it to find them."

"Okay, I'll call Bri and head out." Henry said into the call.

Once the call ended, he closed his laptop and stood up from his desk. He reached behind a photo that hung over his bed and grabbed his extra bubblegum case as he opened it, took a bubblegum out, and hid it behind the same photo again.

"Time to blow a bubble and fight some crime." Henry muttered to himself, tossing the bubblegum into his mouth. He chewed and once it was ready, he blew the bubble and as it popped, a green aura formed around him and soon enough, he was wearing his Boy Danger outfit.

He opened his bedroom window and climbed onto his fire escape and then closed the window behind him before climbing to the rooftop. Reaching the top, he reached into his belt and took out his t-phone, clicking on Briana's contact and brought it to his ear.

"Come on, please pick up..." Boy Danger said, hearing it ring.

"Henry?"

"Bri! Look, I know you're hurt by me and the others but I need your help! Donnie called me! Apparently, Karai's after April and Cameron's after Kaz!" Boy Danger explained.

"Wait, what?" Briana's voice comes through the phone, her tone coming off as worried.

"I'm gonna go help April with Karai, I need you to go help Kaz with Cameron." Boy Danger said.

"Okay," she breathes into the call after a second. "I'm on it."

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

CAPTAIN VIOLET SPRINTED across the rooftops, jumping over the edges and onto the next roof. Every now and then, she'd glanced down at her phone to see where the tracker was leading her towards Kaz. As she ran, she could feel a rush of concern run through her veins as all she was hoping was that Kaz was alright. Obviously, she was worried about April too and hoped her friend was alright but she knew that Boy Danger would help her fight against Karai since April wasn't ready to fight a way more experienced kunoichi like Karai herself without backup.

Coming to a halt, she glanced down at her t-phone to see that the tracker was showing that Kaz was around the area nearby. All she had to do wasโ€”

"You know, if you're a knight like you said you are, you're pretty easy to beat."

'Kaz.' Captain Violet thought secretly to herself, a wave of relief washing over her at the sound of his voice.

She glanced down into the alleyway and spotted Kaz and Cameron. Kaz seemed to be alright and up on his feet while Cameron was the one that was pushing himself onto his feet.

"Oh, I'llโ€”"

Cameron doesn't finish his sentence since Captain Violet jumps down and lands on the ground between the two but more closer to Kaz, one hand on the handle of her katana blade in case she has to pull it out.

"Well, hello there, my princess," Cameron said with a smirk towards her as he winked. "Missed me?"

Kaz raised an eyebrow with a frown, once again catching the way he seemed to addressed her. He shakes his head and turns towards the purple haired girl.

"You know, Love, by the look on your face, I'd said that you were worried," Kaz teased with a smirk. "You wouldn't have happened to be worried about me, were you, M'lady?"

Captain Violet couldn't help but blush bright red from that, smiling shyly as she giggled, practically giving the answer away without having to said anything.

Cameron glared at this and clenched his fists, refusing to lose his princess to a city boyโ€”a peasant no less.

"No!" Cameron shouted, taking out his sword as he glared at the teenaged boy. "I won't lose to you."

Captain Violet frowns, sensing the sudden tension from him and was wondering where it was coming from as she pulled out her katana blade.

"I mean," Kaz taunted with a shrug. "If you wanna lose again, then fine, your call."

Cameron glared, a deep hatred for the city boy burning in his eyes.

"I won't lose."

The next thing that she knew was that a fight broke out as Cameron was determined not to lose. Punches were aimed, kicks were thrown, and weapons clashedโ€”Captain Violet even did some martial arts move that Splinter had taught her and the others, Kaz did the same as well and then, a familiar voice came into Kaz's head as he recalled something that Splinter had said.

"The key is to unbalance your opponent."

Letting those words sink in, Kaz smirked slightly before his dark brown eyes landed on a dumpster. He moved backwards towards the dumpster and Cameron followed. Kaz smirked and just as Cameron went in for the attack, Kaz grabbed his arm and flipped him over into the dumpster before closing it.

"Not bad for a rookie, huh?" Kaz said with a smirk once Captain Violet reached him.

She smiled shyly and played with the ends of her hair, her cheeks blushing lightly. "I-I don't thinโ€”think you'reโ€”you're a rookie." She stuttered.

"Why, thank you, M'lady." Kaz said with a wink.

Captain Violet blushed harder as she smiled shyly. Then, the two turned and left the alley. However, as they left the alley, Kaz didn't know why but he got the feeling that this wouldn't be the last time he saw Cameron.

It was a game of tug-and-war.

And Briana was the rope.

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

"HERE YOU GO, April." Henry said as he handed her an ice pack once they got back to the lair. Both Briana and Kaz had gotten back to the lair around the same time that they did as well.

"Thanks." April said as she winched lightly after she had placed the ice pack against her forehead.

"You know, for your first time against Karai, you were great out there," Henry said. "You really stood your ground."

April smiled at him. "Thanks, Hen."

Her phone suddenly went off as they all glanced down at it. "It's Donnie!" She pressed the answer button and placed the call on speaker. "Hey, Donnie."

"April! You're okay!" Donatello's voice cried out happily. "You hear that, guys? My sweet princess is alive!"

Henry couldn't help but facepalmed while Briana forced herself not to laugh, even Kaz bit his lip to keep himself from laughing.

"Did I mute that?" Donatello asked quietly.

"Let's agree that you did." April said.

"You got it!"

It took the five mutant turtles about ten minutes for them to get back to the lair. Soon, they were all sitting around on the couch while April and Kaz told them about what happened with both Karai and Cameron.

"And when her guard was down, I flipped her down the subway steps and she bolted." April finished.

"When he wasn't paying attention to what I was planning, I grabbed his arm and flipped Cameron into the dumpster." Kaz finished as well.

"That is awesome!"

"You guys rock!"

"Kick butt!"

"That was amazing!"

"Impressive, April, Kaz," Splinter said. "You both used your training well, and you both fulfilled the most important goal of the ninja: to come home alive."

"Thank you, Sensei," April said as she and Kaz bowed to him. "Looks like we can take care of ourselves after all."

"Yes, and no."

"Huh?"

"Karai and Cameron may have lost this time," Splinter said. "But if Shredder wants you two, he will stop at nothing to find you both. And with the Kranng after you two as well, the wisest decision is for you two to remain here, in the sewer, with us."

"What!?"

"Oh, that's great!" Donatello suddenly said cheerfully. He spotted the glare both April and Kaz were throwing him, and quickly added. "I mean... oh, that's horrible! That, you know, your life, as you know it, is-is over, and, um... I'll shut up now..."

"I can't stay down here!" April protested. "I mean, what about school? My friends? Everything?"

"Yeah, what am I gonna tell my mom about where I am?" Kaz added, having no idea what excuse he could even give his mother about the whole thing.

"Guys, Master Splinter's right," Leonardo admitted. "Until we stop Shredder and the Kranng, this is the only place you guys are safe."

April sighed. "So, once we stop them, we can have our lives back?"

"Yes."

"Let's get started."

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

SHE COULDN'T SLEEP. Briana found herself in the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water. As she finished it and set it down in the sink, she hissed quietly in pain as she pressed her fingers against her forehead, the familiar voices in her head coming back with a rush of pain.

"Embrace your fate, Destroyer."

"You are the prophesied Last Destroyer."

"Stop running from your fate and embrace it."

"Conceal it, don't feel it, don't let it show." Briana repeated the mantra softly. She did this for a few seconds and took a deep breath, removing her fingers from her forehead when the pain disappeared.

"What are you doing up still?"

Briana froze, looking up slightly to see her sister standing in front of her. She faced her but let her eyes gaze down to the ground.

"I, uh, I got thirsty so I just went to get water." She said.

Eclipse frowned slightly before she sighed. "Can you look at me?"

"I am."

"No, you're facing me but your eyes are on the ground," Eclipse said before growing firm with her little sister. "Hamato Briana, mitekudasai."

Briana blinked at the sudden use of her full name as she looked up at her. Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Eclipse rarely used her full name and usually, only used it when they were being strict or firm with her.

"Really, we gotta use the full name?" Briana asked. "I meanโ€”"

"Briana." Eclipse said again, more firmly and stern this time to show that she was serious.

The fourteen-year-old teenaged girl held her hands up in surrender. "Alright, alright, you win."

"Look, I know you're hurt because me and the others didn't tell you," Eclipse said. "And I know we're still not saying anything to you but you gotta trust me that there's just some things that you can't know about yet."

Briana frowned, knowing where this was going.

"You're mad at us, and we getโ€”"

"Do you guys think I want it to be like this?"

Eclipse blinked at the sudden question. "What?"

"First, I don't want to avoid you guys. I hate it," Briana said. "Second, I'm not mad. I'm hurt. I'm hurt because I found out that the people I thought would never lie to me or keep something from me were actually doing just that. It hurt because neither you, Leo, Henry, Raph, Donnie, or Mikey know..."

'How much I look up to you guys and how bad I want to be just like you guys.' She finished thinking secretly to herself.

"What is it?" Eclipse asked, wondering what she was gonna said. "What don't we know?"

"Nothing, it's nothing." Briana said with a frown. "I'm not mad though. I'm just hurt."

"And none of us meant to hurt you. You know we'd never want to do that to you." Eclipse said. "But you gotta trust us on this, okay? We... we can't tell you right now because there's just some things that you can't know."

"Why? Why can't I know?" Briana asked. All she wanted was answers. Was that too much to ask for? When would they think she was ready to know?

"You just can't, Bri," Eclipse said seriously and stern. "Not right now."

"Then when can I?"

"I don't know."

Briana frowned again, looking away from her sister as she glanced down at the ground.

"Look," Eclipse said gently with a sigh. "We're just trying to protect you, that's all, okay? And we are going to tell you one day, just not yet."

But she didn't want to wait.

All Briana wanted to know was why was she in pain every time she heard the voices? How did she become a vessel to a literal demon? And why did it had to be her? But at the same time, Briana didn't want to avoid them anymoreโ€”she didn't want to look at them and feel hurt anymore. So, maybeโ€”just maybeโ€”if they were really going to tell one day then, maybe she could wait just a little bit longer.

Could she?

"One day?" Briana asked gently.

"One day."

Briana didn't said anything but nodded, letting the words sink in.

"Alright, well, I'm gonna head to bed," Eclipse said as she began to leave the kitchen. "Night sis."

"Night..." Briana whispered to herself, waiting till it was complete silence for her to put her hand over her stomach where she knew the symbol was. Shaking her head, she left the kitchen and headed to her bedroom to grab some sleep.

"I was naive back then. I didn't see that they were just trying to protect me, that I really couldn't know but I learnt everything the hard way and it all happened too fast."
