You slumped back at the backseat of the car, crossing your arms as Five removed his seatbelt. Luther has a briefcase beside him, holding it protectively. The briefcase was a fake one, which made it look like the briefcase that Hazel and Cha-Cha have. Five told you that the briefcase helped them to travel time with their missions. With their briefcase gone, they can never come back.

"You know, I never enjoyed it." Five suddenly spoke. You and Luther looked at Five confusingly. "What?" Luther asked.

"The killing."

"No one enjoys killings..." You blurted out. "Except for serial killers."

Five sighed. "I-I was good... at my work, and I... took pride in it. But it never gave me pleasure."

You leaned your head against the seat where Luther sits as you stared at Five. Five glanced at you before looking away. "I think it was all those years alone. Solitude can do funny things to the mind."

Luther seemed affected but disregard whatever he was thinking about. "Yeah, well, you were gone for such a long time."

"Gone for too long..." You leaned away from the chair and leaned your back against your seat, looking at the window. "It felt like a century..."

Five turned to you but you were looking away from him. "I missed you, Eight. I'm sorry for not telling you earlier. I really did missed you. In every minute, all I could think is how you were doing."

"Terribly." You clutched the hem of your skirt. "I was doing terribly. And now it got so much worse." You looked back to Five and fake a smile. "But I'll do just fine. The apocalypse is the number one priority right now, right?"

You looked away from Five and saw a car approaching. "Is that... them?"

Luther and Five turned to see the car. "Yeah." Five nodded. The three of you got out of the car and watched the car passed by to park. You leaned against the car while Five turned to Luther. "If this all goes sideways, do me a favor and tell Delores I'm sorry."

'Why do I feel like Delores would just be laughing if this plan fails because she's always right?'

You and Luther waited as Five approached the two people wearing masks. You noticed the lady's mask. One ear from her dog mask was removed. You wondered what happened. Luther and you didn't really hear their conversation but you saw them take off their masks.

'Oh... so that's what they look like...'

As they talk, you were getting impatient. Your eyes widened to see the Cha-Cha lady pulling out her gun to Five. They continued to talk until suddenly, you heard voices.

'I can't believe I'm listening to this old man in a body of a schoolboy.'

It was the lady's voice. Or thoughts. You blinked in confusion.

'Come on, Cha-Cha. Don't be stupid. Lower the gun and call her!'

You heard the big man said in his head. You looked at Five and tried to read what's on his mind but it was blank. Maybe you were just hallucinating? Maybe it was all delusions? You couldn't really tell anymore.

"What happens now?" Luther asked Five who you didn't realize was back already. You saw the lady called someone on a nearby payphone. "Now we wait." You were gonna tell Five about what happened until you heard an ice cream truck coming because of the chiming.

You three looked in the direction from where it was coming. "Uhh... why is there an ice cream truck coming?"

"Maybe they're lost? Or maybe that's her?" Luther answered with an unsure tone. Hazel and Cha-Cha looked at each other in confusion.

As the ice cream truck got closer, you can already see two people. You gasped and laughed as Klaus waved at you three and Diego was beside him. Five has a disbelief look on his face, you were waving back at Klaus, while Luther gave him a small wave with a confused look.

You watched as an ice cream truck passed by. "What the hell is he doing here?" Five questioned.

You suddenly heard a "whee!" noise that sounded like an excited boy who's on a carousel. 'That kinda sounded like Ben...'

You flinched when Hazel and Cha-Cha started firing at the ice cream truck and you three. Luther got in front to protect you and Five. You stepped out and your eyes glowed red, creating an energy blast to push the Hazel and Cha-Cha away. You instantly saw a bullet coming towards your way and Luther.

Until the time stopped.

Five was able to move and looked around. He stopped in front of you and stared at you for a while. 'I'm sorry, (Y/n). For hurting your feelings. For leaving you all alone because I wanted to time travel.'

"Neat trick, isn't it?" Five looked down and turned around to see the Handler. He stepped away from you as he stepped forward to the woman who recruited him years ago. The woman removed her sunglasses. "Hello, Five. You look good, all things considered."

Five's hands were tucked in his pockets as he talked to the Handler. "It's good to see you again."

"Feels like we met just yesterday. Course, you were a little bit older then. Congratulations on the age regression, by the way. Very clever. Threw us all of the scent."

"Ah, well, I wish I could take credit. I miscalculated the time dilation projections, and... well, you know. Here I am."

"You realize your efforts are futile. So why don't you tell me what you really want?"

"I want you to put a stop to it."

"You realize what you're asking for is next to impossible, even for me. What's meant to be is meant to be. That's our raison d'รชtre."

Five pulled out a gun and pointed right at her. "Yeah? Well how about survival as a raison?"

"I'll just be replaced. I'm but a... small cog in a machine." Five lowered his gun as the Handler stepped closer to him. "This fantasy you've been nurturing about summoning up your family to stop the apocalypse... is just that. A fantasy. I must say, though, we're all quite impressed with your initiative, your... stick-to-itiveness, really quite... quite something."

Five squinted his eyes at her as he raised an eyebrow. The Handler smiled. "Which is why we want to offer you a new position back at the Commission, in management."

Five chuckled unsurely. "Sorry, what's that now?"

"Come back to work for us again. You know it's where you belong."

"Well, it didn't work out too well the last time."

"But you wouldn't be in the correction division any longer. I'm talking about... the home office. You'd have the best health and pension, and an end to this ceaseless travel. You're a distinguished professional in... schoolboy shorts."

Five listened more as she kept on trying to get him back to the Commission. As he listened, he would take glances at you.

"You can't be happy like this." The Handler put down Five's gun and smiled at him while he scoffed. "I'm not looking for happy."

The Handler sighed and caressed Five's cheek. "We're all looking for happy." The Handler put her hand down and turned to you. "I bet she's also looking for happy too." The Handler walked towards you and stared into your eyes. "Red eyes. Quite lovely."

The Handler was about to touch your face but Five stopped her. "Don't. Touch. Her." She turned to Five and smiled. "Your happiness is to finally live peacefully, without any problems, with her. I can tell." The Handler leaned in to Five as she scanned his eyes. "Dilated pupils. You're in love, Five."

Five stepped away, looking away from her. "We can make your happy happen." The Handler said. "If you go back to the Commission."

Five sighed. "And what about my family?"

"What about them?"

"I want them to survive."

The Handler looked at Luther and you, then to Diego and Klaus who were still on the ice cream truck. She looked back down to Five. "All of them? Not just your precious Number Eight?"

"Yes, all of them."

The Handler sighed and wore her sunglasses back. "Well, I'll see what I can do. Do we have a deal?" She stretched out her arm, waiting for Five to shake her hand. Five stared at her hand before stuffing his gun back into his pocket. "One thing."

Five walked away and took the gun to the ground, throwing off the bullets and the gun separately. Five walked back to the Handler but noticed the bullet. "Mm... no." Five mumbled something and moved the direction of the bullet to avoid hitting you or Luther.

Then he walked towards you. 'I'll be back, okay? I'm not sure if you can hear this or not but... please stay safe. There's still something important I need to tell you when I come back.'

Five turned away and shook the Handler's hand, disappearing.

You almost stumbled and watched as the ice cream truck crashed Hazel and Cha-Cha's car. Your eyes went back to normal and you and Luther looked around for Five. "Five? Five!"

"Good God!" Klaus winced. "Oh, ow!"

Luther looked at Hazel and Cha-Cha and raised the briefcase. "Come and get it!"

You ran towards Klaus and Diego while Luther threw away the fake briefcase as Cha-Cha chased after it and Hazel taking the empty gun. You helped Klaus to get out of the ice cream with Diego. "Wait. My shoes hurt." Diego winced.

"You can whine all you want about the pain later but right now we have to get to the car." You helped Klaus to carry Diego. Luther took your place so you could create a force shield around if Hazel and Cha-Cha will fire again.

Klaus got inside the backseat with Diego while you entered the passenger's seat where Five sat minutes ago. Luther got inside the driver's seat and started driving while you looked back to see Klaus giving the finger to those who kidnapped him and tortured him.

You slumped back to your seat, speechless, and were thinking deeply. Luther noticed this and glanced at you sometimes. "You alright?"

"Y-Yeah... just... peachy..."

"Three days?" Allison asked.

"That's what Five said." Luther said as Allison gave him a coffee.

It was Wednesday, 8:15 am to be exact. You didn't know why you looked at the time. You just felt like you need to.

"The old bastard did mention the apocalypse, come to think of it. He just left out the part about how soon." Klaus sat down beside you on the floor while you laid your head on his shoulder. "Yeah.. he wouldn't stop talking about it. You muttered as you sipped your coffee.

Klaus turned to you and then leaned his head on top of yours. "You okay now, baby sis?"

"Words couldn't really describe on what I feel right now, Klaus." You sighed. "Waking up in 2019, finding out what happened to me, Five missing, an apocalypse is coming."

Klaus held your hand as he sipped his own coffee. "Yeah. It's fucked up. But we'll get through this."

"But can we trust him?" Allison asked. "I don't know if you've noticed, but Five's a little..." She motioned her finger into circles in her head and whistled, indicating that Five's crazy.

Klaus chuckled. "Our little psycho."

"He was pretty convincing. If he wasn't trying to stop an apocalypse, those lunatics wouldn't be chasing him." Luther reasoned.

"That's why they were chasing after him?" Diego asked.

"Yeah."

"What did Five even see?" Allison turned to Luther. Luther's eyes widened, his eyes glancing to yours for help when you just cocked an eyebrow at him. Luther gulped. "Uh... apparently, we all fought together against whoever was responsible."

Your siblings, including you, waited for more information from Luther to spill even though you already knew what happened. Luther clicked his tongue and stood up. "Okay. So, here's the plan. Uh, we go through Dad's researchโ€”"

"Wait, what?"

"Hold on, hold on."

"Wait a tick, wait a tick, wait a tick." Klaus turned to Luther as you stood up to walk towards Allison to grab some liquor. "What actually happened the first time around?"

"Yeah. What are you not tellin' us?" Diego swooped in. "Come on, big boy, spit it out."

You leaned against the counter first to hear what Luther's going to say. Luther looked down at his coffee and sighed the sentence that you and even the others were unable to hear and he drank his coffee.

"What was that?" Allison asked.

"You know what, what if (Y/n) said it." Luther pointed at you. You raised your eyebrows in surprise. "Why are you bringing me into this?"

"Well, you know what happened. T-Tell them."

"Come on, sis." Diego and the other three turned to you.

"Now remember, (Y/n)." Luther reminded even if there was nothing to remind you. "Tell them slowly and carefully as possโ€”"

"We all died." You blurted out simply causing Luther to facepalm too hard that you thought that maybe he want to do it mentally. The big monkey walked towards you and whispered. "That was so sudden."

"Well, the world is ending so we don't have enough time to say the explanation of what dying means." You drank your coffee, completely forgetting about the liquor you wanted to have.

"Ah, ah, ah, ah." Allison took your hand, stopping you from walking away. "Where are you going?"

"Upstairs. Or probably out of this house."

"But we need to have a plan on stopping this thing."

"Yeah, well, we already did try, right?" You drank your coffee again and walked away, earning a sigh from Klaus and the others.
