2017- Harvard Graduation

It was one of the most joyous days in your life when you graduated from HARVARD CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY. Your life long dream to become an esteemed lawyer of your generation. A princess with a graduation cap instead of a tiara.

You have worked tirelessly for three years. You and Jin-Goo and your parents (birth parents incognito with two understated bodyguards came to you and Jin-Goo graduation ceremony.

You and Jin-Goo graduated with honours. The excitement was so tangible because the" family " is going back to South Korea to restart your life there. You got the best clerkship ( Internship ) at the largest and most prestigious law firms in South Korea, Kim and Chang Law firm.

Jin-Goo passed his interview a few weeks ago and will be starting as a Junior Political Analyst at KBS news. He doesn't need an internship. His natural charm, poise, handsome features and aura of dignity won the interviewers over. After two auditions, he received the best news of his life.

You were sad to say goodbye to your American friends, Shaniqua and Tyrella. They promise to come to visit you in the summer. They got internships at two prominent American law firms. Together at the same firm, both in different states.

You and your school best friend, Tala has lost contact in your second year. She went to study at Korea University.

Right after the party, her stern Dad came and fetch her the next day, very upset that she slept over at the hotel. She called you a few times during the summer, but her number was unlisted and not available a month after.

Her dad was not only stern but was verbally abusing his family. He had high expectations for his children, and failure is not an option. Your best friend is the youngest of two kids. Her brother is a medical doctor, a podiatrist. He is married and have a boy of 8 years.

You missed her. She never called you back for two years, but in your final year, you found her accidentally on Facebook. She became a bombshell. Her hair is longer.

She has been living for a couple of her student years with her maternal grandmother near her campus.

So, you excited because she also decided to apply for the internships in Seoul.

Beginning in 2018

This year started on a roller coaster ride. You've just completed your Law degree at Harvard University, and you'll be ready to intern at a very prestigious Law firm in South Korea. Kim and Chang Law Firm.

At first, you didn't feel like going back to Seoul. Still ,Jin-Goo got a position at KBS ( Korea Broadcasting Systems ), hosting their Political Desk as a junior analyst and became instantly very popular in a few months. He even got Nominated for Best News Presenter at the Korean Artist Awards.

You couldn't deny him his dream. He doesn't have to do all princely duties and can live his life, but he's still your assigned bodyguard. Your families felt that because of your studies to allow you to lead an everyday life as a working young adult, it would give you so much experience and understanding of the working class and respect their social stand.

A few years ago, in 2015, your second year ( Sophomore) at University, you had terrifying experiences. You were kidnapped at your university. You came out of the Library with one of your student friends.

Jin-Goo had an examination paper to write on that day, and you and your two friends didn't want to wait for him and spend some time in the library.

A black car stood in front of you; silencers were raised at your friends as a warning that if you don't get into the vehicle, Ino's men will take lives away.

You were grabbed and pushed into the car blindfolded, taken to a remote warehouse, and then transported to a cruise ship docked not far from the port.

You've never been so terrified of these men. Deep down, you knew it was King Ino's doing. You were held in his private chambers, protected by six to seven bodyguards. Although you knew his patience with you was lost. He has been searching for you since you were sixteen.

The whole Philippines monarchy was in chaos at your disappearance. Fortunately, the uni could send info to Interpol after footage of the incident has been found. Your friends were frantic and terrified. They thought the worse.

But before they could capture King Ino, a private helicopter already left the vessel. They took you to Morroco, and a private jet was waiting for you to take you to King Ino, palace in the northern regions of the Philippine Islands.

You've never been so scared because he already forced you to become engaged to him and would've gotten married two days later if it weren't for the rescuing by your military.

Two of King Inos bodyguards assassinated him in his chambers. It turned out that these two bodyguards planned their revenge for years. They were brothers of King Ino's real Soulmate who drowned, but an old farmer saw him commanding his officers to drown her in the river.

He took her for a picnic as though he's going to propose, but after the picnic, she became drowsy because he poisoned her wine and ordered her to be killed.

You've never felt so free for the first time in your life. It was major news in Asia and America. But the Asian news outlets didn't disclose your identity. Just that king Ino wanted to pay revenge because of a business deal that went sour, and he kidnapped the kingpin's daughter but got "you " by mistake, which was the wrong girl.

You were a very famous victim, but you beg your parents to complete your studies and work as a commoner for a law firm. You were going to earn your own money. You'll go home now and then for royal duties or functions. Your father, King Felipe, gave you your freedom to explore.

During your study years, you always wondered back at your first love. Kim Namjoon. When you think about it, you've only fond memories of your time together.
You wondered if he received his soul mark yet. He must've; maybe he got his soulmate.

In 2015 you and your two friends went to a BTS concert in Chicago. When the group got on their first World Tour. "The Red Bullet Episode 11". You became a secret ARMY, and he was your bias, and you also like Soekjin. You followed his career since his debut. You were so proud of him. Your friends didn't know your connection.

Every time you saw him, your heart will hurt, but you so glad that he loves what he is doing, he's happy, he is the most outstanding leader like you all predict-the president of BTS.

Your American friends are crazy ARMY's. They are loyal and devoted. The merch that they own is astounding. They stream every new music video to reach ARMY goals to get the boys to the top. They are hurt when their boys are sad or weary, or even overworked.

They are overprotective, got embroiled in Twitter fan wars and social fights when people shamed or insulted the band. Shaniqua and Tyrella are so extra. They've already planned to come to the Seoul "Love Yourself stadium concerts" and attend a few fans meets.

They love Min Yoongi and Jhope as biases, but all of you love the whole Maknae-line also, But ultimately you all are OT7.

You were mesmerised by the group's energetic performances. You couldn't believe what a talented rapper he became; you wondered why he called himself Rapmonster. They were so popular in America, and most of the country can't even pronounce their names or sing the lyrics, but they buy their physical albums.

His afro hair so amused you in the early debut days of his, but now his extra manly and hotter than lava. He still makes your heart race after all these years. You know for a fact that you still love him.

You haven't received your mark yet because you still 20 and in a few short weeks you'll be 21 years. You were one of the youngest graduates at Harvard Law School.

But as for meeting him, you don't think you are ready to meet him, you promised that you'd come to him after you receive your soul mark, but you don't think you want to complicate his life due to the dating ban.

He won't have time for a friendship with you as a girl because of all the shipping cultures and dating scandals of kpop stars. Jin-Goo got his soul mark on the nape of his neck.

But he did the "invirso bind", but he doesn't care he is dating a beautiful Tarnished actress. Kim Seolhyun. She's an award-winning actress, model and singer. And surprise, surprise, she hates you with a passion.

He said due to his royal and new celebrity status, he cannot accept or marries a soulmate of a lower social stand. His parents already had a princess in mind for him in an arranged marriage.

You are very fortunate due to the trauma you went through. Your parents will not arrange any marriage for you, and they want you to chose or marry your soulmate. Jin-Goo is not so lucky that is why he was dating until he meets his soulmate.

He likes his girlfriend. But you want him to be happy with his destined bond. Royalty is equal to honour and obligation to your country, but you want your cousin to find real love.

Jin-Goo always asked you about your best friend's whereabouts and why she doesn't stay in contact with you because he still stays in touch with most of his friends. Namjoon cut all of them off after they debut, and even Jackson debut in a group called Got7 but other than Namjoon, he kept contact.

He told them Namjoon got all new contact numbers. He and Namjoon go on friendship dates now and then, and Namjoon always wanted to know about his cousin. Luckily Namjoon got Jin-Goo number, and he could stay in contact. But Jin-Goo doesn't want to give you Namjoons contact details, for reasons he only knows.

Now the schoolboys are all reunited after Jin-Goo got the television job. Their other friend became a kpop back up dancer for Monsta X, and he is doing well.

You are so nervous because today is your first day at work. Your best friend told you that she'd meet you at the reception and you can go in together. You talked to her on the phone, but you've never met up personally in the months you've been back setting up your home. She stayed in another region and had part-time jobs, so it was difficult for both of you.

Your internship is for the whole summer. After the internship, you'll find out if you got the position as a young executive lawyer or go back to finish your graduate studies online.

You and Jin-Goo had your luxury apartments in the same Seoul Forest Trimage Complex building. On the same floor where he can keep an eye on you. You experience the same problem as in school.

Seolhyun hates your friendship with Jin-Goo . You can't understand why? She is regarded as the most beautiful celebrity in S.Korea, but she is so insecure. She's 100%prettier than you. She wants Jin-Goo to stop seeing you.

Jin-Goo ignores her, and when she found you one morning early in his apartment, (you ran to his apartment four doors from yours to get a cup of coffee, cause your machine malfunction.)

It was one of the most intense fights you've ever seen happening between couples. Jin-Goo broke it off immediately, but two weeks later, she crawls back after he reluctantly explains that you are like a little sister to him, but she still thinks you want to steal him.

Unfortunately, she doesn't know your complicated relationship.

The problem is you and Jin-Goo cannot reveal your real identities now. Imagine-Filipino Royalty under the noses of paparazzi. You'll never have an everyday life. Life as you know it will change into a life of secrecy and hiding. Photographed and hound daily.

Jin-Goo called you early in the morning to wish you well. You were busy drinking a cup of coffee in your tiny kitchen. You love your apartment. For the first time, you live the life of an independent young adult that your parents can trust.

"Don't worry, my little princess, and you'll mesmerise them with your beauty and intelligence. I know you'll enjoy your day. Make older lawyer friends they'll show you the way," he encourages you.

"But I'm getting flustered easily, and I get tongue-tied. At least Tala (best friends name) will start with me today?" You sigh.

"Y...Your best friend Tala..did you meet up? I thought you lost contact?" He was speechless.

"I told you a month ago, your mind is so filled with Seolhyun that you constantly forget me talking..." you scold him.

"I'm sorry Y/n...my mind is filled with my duty as the eldest in our family. My father wants me married. It's been a year without my real soulmate, and he is already in talks with the Duke and Dutchess in Spain.." he sounds so bleak. He doesn't want an arranged marriage.

"I don't know what's wrong with my uncle, princess  Francesca is not a bad choice. I was almost forcefully married to King Ino..." she's a better choice than Seolhyun. You thought

Jin-Goo clears his throat, "Um ...I didn't know your best friend studied law...didn't she applied for a major in journalism ..or" he asked unsurely. He doesn't know why he cares.

"See, you were never really interested in my friends, that's why you never listen when we talk about stuff...my best friends are grown up like me, and we are going to take the world of law by storm. Just watch us..." You told him, filled now with confidence.

Jin-Goo doesn't understand why he still feels guilty about sleeping with your best friend and kept it a secret. Y/N doesn't know. He was never so grateful to be underage. If he had a soul mark and were above 21, they would've been in great trouble with the system. He doesn't even think of the repercussions.

He plucked a beautiful flower out of the garden of innocence, and it would forever haunt him.

He couldn't understand why he was so weak physically, he could withstand and reject the most beautiful girls' more brutal advances, but he couldn't even defend himself to be firm against the enchantment of those pair of big innocent eyes locked into his.

He got back to reality when he heard you talking about getting your car and not a driver.

" Jin-Goo , I'll see you tomorrow morning cause you'll work tonight. So enjoy your afternoon off...I might bring my best friend home to say hi to her old-time crush...don't worry, she is over you...she got someone else who is crushing hard on her...hopefully, he's her soul mate-" she sounds now rush because she needs to leave. Her driver will be waiting for her.

"Wait, what-" but she already hung up.

Your phone chimed, and you know it's your driver waiting for you downstairs.

You exhaled and inhaled deeply, ready to face your first test in the real world.

Your driver was waiting for you downstairs. He was part of the royal guard but now assigned to you and Jin-Goo . You wish to have your car, to drive wherever you please without watchful eyes. Your best friend was waiting for you, nervously outside the reception. Few other interns were sanding nervously around and tried to light up the conversation. Your best friend looks beautiful and professional in her cute dress.

When she saw you in person for the very first time after three years...you both fall into each other's arms with excitement and crying eyes. You were not even concerned at the amused eyes of the onlookers. You missed the presence of each other so much.

"Oh my word, Y/n...you look fabulous!!!" she gushed.
