"Spider-Menace!" You heard Jameson's voice through your television. "Governments around the world launched investigations into the murderer known as Spider-Man, a.k.a, Peter Parker, a.k.a, the web-headed war criminal, who for years has been terrorizing the decent citizens of New York."

You rolled your eyes as you started looking for your mother's number on your phone while listening to Jameson. "Well now, this city and the world see him for what he truly is." Your mouth dropped open when you saw your and your friends' faces on the screen. "Group of Terror?!" You scoffed.

You watched a Time cover magazine with a drawing of Spider-Man as a crying baby that says, "Iron Man Jr? How Did A Reckless Teenager Become Tony Stark's New Apparent?"

You clenched your fists. "They don't know shit." Another cover magazine was presented with Peter's half-face shown, with the other side being Spider-Man. While waiting for your mother to pick up your call, you switched the channel. "New details from last week's devastating attack in London have emerged. For more, we go now to Joint Intelligence Headquarters..."

You changed the channel again. "...who released just a short while ago confirms, that the deadly drones used in the London attack, were designed by Stark Industries." You froze on your spot. "Shit."

Soon, your mother finally picked up your call. "I'm so sorry, honey. I was just on a call a minute ago. How are you?"

You sighed in relief. "I'm good, thank you, mom. Thanks for giving me the keys... well, delivering them, but you get the point."

"No problem, sweetheart. Are you sure you're alright in there? You really don't want to come home? I mean, Morgan and I could come over there."

You were now staying at the new apartment that you were supposed to receive on your 18th birthday. However, with everything that's happening and knowing you need to be with Peter, you tell your mother you need to stay at the new apartment your father bought for you before he died.

Pepper suggested you stay at the old apartment you were already living in, but you indicated that your friends or Peter could use it when needed.

You moved your couch a little bit and looked outside the window. You sighed heavily as you pressed your fingers on your temple. "Sooner or later, police and federal agents will come barging in here, mom. And they'll think Stark Industries has something to do with—" You took a sharp, deep breath. "It's just been a few hours since Peter's identity was revealed in the world, and everywhere is so chaotic."

"I know, (Y/n)." Pepper sighed. "I've been receiving calls and e-mails about everything that links to Spider-Man or Mysterio."

"That's why I can't come back home, mom." You explained. "I don't want Morgan to see me being taken by police just because they suspect that my friends and I were accomplices to Peter Parker for the murder of Mysterio."

"I'll do everything I can, angel, I promise."

You nodded as you looked down on the floor. "How are you and Morgan?"

"Good. I'm glad reporters and paparazzi aren't crowding the area. Your father picked the right spot for us."

"Morgan?"

"Oh, she's in her room. She misses you terribly."

You cracked a smile. "Yeah, me too. Tell Morgan I love her, will you?"

"Of course, sweetie."

"I'm going to call Harley to check on him. Love you, mom."

"Love you too."

You ended the call and started calling Harley Keener. You waited patiently as you stepped outside of your small balcony to feel the fresh air. Soon, he picked up the call. "Hey, Harls."

"(Y/n)! Thank God!" You heard his voice full of concern. "We did everything you told me to do. We moved out and will lay low for a few weeks."

"How's the suit?"

"I hid it," Harley replied. "Police wouldn't know that I was there, right? I mean, who else saw that I was there with my suit on?"

"Me, Peter... and maybe a lot of people." You lightly chuckled. "I heard in the tabloids that most people think Tony Stark faked his death because of you showing up."

"Shit. I fucked up, didn't I?"

You shook your head. "No, Harley. Dad wanted you to have that suit, and I know he would've been proud that you have finally used it." You smiled at the thought of Tony smiling proudly and confidently. "It's just the wrong timing, I suppose."

Your eyes darted down, and you found a few police cars parking outside the building and a few federal agents entering. You shakily sighed. "(Y/n)?" You heard Harley ask.

"Yes, Harley?"

"Keep yourself safe, please? I don't want my sister getting hurt."

You stifled a laugh. "I like how you view me as my sister now."

"I always do, and I always will."

You ended the call the moment you heard multiple hard knocks right outside your door. "That's fast." You glanced at the moon shining above and caressed the lily pendant of your necklace that was given to you by Peter. You turned around and approached your door. As you opened the door, you smiled at them. "Easy, no need to point your guns at me."

Agent Albert Cleary smirked. "Charmer just like her dear ol' dad."

"I didn't kill Quentin Beck. The drones did." Peter defended as Cleary walked around his table. Cleary moved the photograph of the drones towards Peter. "The drones that are yours."

Peter sighed in defeat. "No... Well, look... Nick Fury was there the entire time. Just ask him, and he can explain everything."

Cleary stood behind Peter with his arms folded. "Nick Fury has been off-planet for the last year."

Peter's face fell in shock. "What?"

"Peter!"

Peter looked outside the room to see you, May, Michelle, and Ned being escorted to the interrogation room. "(Y/n)!" He immediately faced Cleary as he pointed his finger at you, his friends, and his aunt. "Uhh... they had nothing to do with it, sir!"

You shook your head with Michelle and May. "Don't say anything without a lawyer!" The three of you told Peter in unison.

You got inside the interrogation room and saw Cleary entering. You looked away as you crossed your arms. "I want a lawyer." You shrugged. "My lawyer, my father's lawyer, any lawyer will do. I'm not saying shit without a lawyer."

Cleary sighed. "Ms. Stark..." He sat down at the other side of the table and opened your file. "I just need you to answer my simple questions."

You scoffed as you shook your head. "Simple? I highly doubt that."

"And why's that?"

"You're going to question me about Stark Industries' involvement with Peter Parker until you dig in further with the drones, the glasses, my father and mother's connection to Peter... I know there are too many questions you want to ask, Agent Cleary."

Cleary smiled. "If you have nothing to hide, why choose to hide Spider-Man's identity to the world and be involved with him?"

You shrugged. "Easy. Mostly no one wants their identity to be exposed in public, especially if you're a superhero or a vigilante."

"Your father seems to be comfortable with his identity being revealed, though."

You glared at him. "My father didn't have the easiest life when he publicized and announced that he was Iron Man. Nor did the Avengers. Peter isn't Tony. He's just a kid, like me, like MJ, like Ned."

"Don't you think it's a bit dubious and cowardly thing to do?"

"It's for protection and safety, Agent Cleary." You snapped. "To protect himself and the people around him from the dangers he faces. You wouldn't really know that, would you?"

After a few minutes, it was Michelle's turn. "I want a lawyer." Michelle looked away from Cleary as he looked at her file.

"Ms. Jones-Watson..."

"Jones." Michelle corrected. "I don't go by Watson."

Cleary slowly nodded. "Ms. Jones..." He cleared his throat. "Why do you want a lawyer if..."

"I have nothing to hide?"

Cleary nodded. "Exactly. Unless..."

"I'm actually guilty of something?" Michelle shrugged. "I'm very aware of your tactics and my rights."

Michelle turned to the one-way mirror and gave a small wave to the officer she couldn't see behind the glass. Cleary sighed. "Just answer my questions." He scanned more of her file. "I've seen your file. You're a smart, young woman with a bright future ahead of her. Why would you risk it all by getting involved with a vigilante like Peter Parker?" Michelle observed Cleary as she clicked her tongue quietly.

Soon, it was Ned's turn to be questioned. Cleary entered the interrogation room to see Ned nervously looking at him. "So sorry to keep you waiting. Can we get Ned a snack, please?" Cleary asked an officer.

"Absolutely!"

"He's been waiting."

"I got you! I got you."

When the other officer left, Cleary lightly patted Ned's arm. "Dude, I'm so sorry about that."

Ned kept his eye contact with Cleary. "I'm not supposed to say anything to you."

Cleary shook his head. "No, Ned. Not even a thing. I just have one question..." Cleary took a deep breath and leaned against the wall. "When MJ told you that Peter was Spider-Man—"

Ned shook his head. "Woah, woah, woah..."

"What's up?"

"She said that? I knew way before MJ did. I was Spider-Man's guy in the chair."

Cleary smiled as he nodded. "Oh, I know about those. I mean, half my guys have guys in the chair."

"Exactly!" Ned gasped. "You wouldn't know... I literally helped him find the Vulture."

Cleary widened his eyes in surprise. "I didn't know that."

"And I helped him hack his suit once, and kinda helped him get to space."

"So, in Spider-Man's illegal vigilanteism, you were his main accomplice."

Ned immediately shut his mouth close in realization as he gaped at Cleary. "I would like to have my words strictly from the record."

"With all due respect, and I mean that very insincerely unless you have some real specific charges to throw at us, legally, you can't hold us here." May let out a breathy scoff as she faced Cleary when it was her turn to be questioned.

"You should definitely lawyer up," Cleary suggested.

May blinked her eyes in bafflement. "Excuse me?"

"Child endangerment is a nasty rap. The boy was entrusted to you, and as his legal guardian, essentially his mother, you not only allowed him to endanger himself, but you actually encouraged it. Who does that?"

May leaned closer to the table with her fists clenched. "I wanna see Peter right now."
