"Would you stop yelling this early in the damn morning!" Jody's yelling woke Bryce up, his shoulder sore from the couch. His eyes adjusted, squinting to the light from the door.

"He's got my kid in there!" Daniel LaRussos voice rung.

"Your kid isn't In here!" Johnny yelled back. "Get outta here!"

"Oh shit." Bryce got to his feet, running down the hall, stumbling into the walls as he hurried into his room. He gently shook Sam. "Sam, hey, Samantha. Wake up, your dads freaking out."

Sam opened her eyes, immediately shutting them again with a groan. Bryce sighed. "I know, but you gotta get up."

"He doesn't have your kid! She's here!" Jody shouted, pushing the door open some to give full view of Bryce helping Sam down the hallway. Daniel took one look at the Moskowitz boys arms around her, her lack of pants, messed up makeup, and was glaring daggers at Bryce.

"It's not-" he began to make an excuse.

"I don't care. Sam, let's go." Daniel sighed, encouraging her to follow him. Sam frowned, looking to Bryce a moment before following her dad.

"Sorry." Jody looked to Bryce, lighting a cigarette. "That man makes me angry."

"Yeah, you aren't the only one." Johnny spoke, Bryce looked out the door to see Robby standing there, giving his dad an annoyed look.

"Sam was here all night?" the Keene boy looked to Bryce in disbelief. "I was searching all over the party for her."

"Why didn't you just call?" he shot back with a stupid look.

"Because the last place i'd thing she'd go is somewhere with you." Robby said back with a dumbfounded look.

"Okay, enough." Jody cut in, coughing on her cigarette. "It's too early. Get in here."

She pulled Bryce into the apartment more, shutting the door. "Man, that girl brings as much drama as her daddy does."

"Sams not the drama." Bryce defended her, popping his neck. "And now her dad hates me and is never gonna let me back into karate."

Jody laughed. "Karate? Why would you do karate?"

"I don't know." Bryce sat down on the couch as she followed.

"Damn, you have it that bad for this chick?" she rose one of her eyebrows his way.

"No! I just want to be able to, I don't know, fight without the real fighting." Bryce tried to explain to his dumbfounded mother. "What's your problem with Daniel LaRusso? Refuse to give you a car."

"Long story, kid." she waved him off, blowing smoke infront of her. "And a long time ago."

Bryce leaned back against the seat cushions. "He's probably gonna be so mad at her."

Jody laughed. "Don't worry about her, worry about yourself. Karate teacher verses teenage boy? I love you, son."

Bryce looked at her in disbelief. "Mom, seriously?"

"Seriously." she confirmed, looking at an invisible watch. "When does school start?"

Bryce groaned loudly. "I forgot school was today."

"I'll let ya skip next monday if you go all week." she promised, reaching over the pet his head. "Wear the purple shirt, I like the purple shirt."

Bryce was setting up his books in his locker when he heard his name called softly. Looking to the side, Sam was at the opposite end of the hallway. He gave an odd look, waving her over. Sam walked his way. "Why are you calling for me at the end of the hallway?"

"Didn't know if you want me to come over here." she said back, exhaling and rubbing her head. "Sorry about this morning."

"On a scale of one to ten, how much does your dad hate me?" Bryce leaned against his locker when he shut it, a cheeky smirk across his face.

Sam gave a minor snort. "Whatever number gets him to having the safe talk with me."

"Woah, so, definitely a ten." he hummed in response, staring down at her. "How's your head?"

"Better, just tired now." she confirmed with a small nod. "Thanks for letting me stay at your place last night. I know I was probably a lot."

"Definitely." Bryce agreed with her. "But, it's cool. It was fun getting to see you not so stuck in your good girl bubble."

Sam nodded her head with a half smile. "Next thing you know, i'm gonna get a nose piercing."

"Well, lucky for you, I know a guy." Bryce confirmed, giving her a tiny grin as the bell rung. "Well, I better go apply myself so I don't have to ask nerds to do my homework."

"You'll find it extremely satisfying." Sam agreed, the two going their separate ways to their classes. Bryce walked into his, scanning over the desk to try to see if he knew anyone. Moon gave a wave, having him walk over.

"Moon, dig the hippy look." he complimented her, sliding into the seat by her with a long exhale. "No bitchy blonde today?"

Moon gave him a knowing look. "Get rid of your negativity, today is positive. But, no, her flight got delayed so she won't be home until tomorrow."

"Lucky us." he cracked a grin, listening to the announcements while digging in his bag for a pin, he winced slightly when the speakers screeched.

"Samantha LaRusso." the voice of Tory Nichols came over the speakers, making Bryce pause as he looked up. "I know what you did, and now you're gonna pay. I'm coming for you bitch."

A chatter went over the classroom, everyone scattering into the hallways. Bryce shook his head. "Nope, not today."

He shoved past a few students, making his way to the end of the line to see Sam and Tory circling each other. He looked oddly, looking across the hall to see his brother. Bryce watched Sam, stepping forward. Tory scoffed. "Come to save the day?"

"No." he said back, taking Sams backpack off her shoulders. "Just making it as much of a fair fight as it can get with you."

He backed up again, watching how it would play out. Tory stared at Sam. "I saw what you did at the party. You kissed Miguel."

A string of 'oohs' went over the crowd of students. Bryce figured that's what Sam was trying to tell him yesterday when she said she did something bad. He kicked himself for not asking her sooner. More importantly, seeing the shocked look on Miguel's face, it seemed perfectly clear that Tory hadn't bothered to deal or fight him, despite it taking two to tango. That alone annoyed him more then he had already been.

"I- I-" Sam was looking for words, being cut off by Tory swinging at her. Bryce winced as she dodged it, ducking under her arm as Tory yanked her around again, giving a harsh kick to the gut. Bryce winced again, watching as his brother shoved Sam back in. Tory punched her, Sam blocking it with her forearms before doing the same with her kicks.

The Nichols girl grasped her shoulders, kneeing her a number of times before slamming her into the lockers. Bryce wasn't totally sure what he could do in this situation. One, he hadn't been in Miyagi-Do long enough to know more then a few blocks and kicks. And two, he wasn't gonna hit a girl. Robby on the other hand was a better guy, shoving Tory off of Sam before she tried to shove him, getting pushed into the lockers.

Bryce leaned over, pulling on Sams arm slightly to get her to look back. She still looked cut and bruise free, which was good. Another boy from Cobra Kai came to Torys rescue, getting a kick to the gut.

"Hey!" Miguel yelled, charging his way and yanking Robby to the ground.

Bryce gapped. "Why is this happening right now?"

"Oh, it is on!" Hawk yelled out as Tory grabbed Sam again, two fighting going on at once. Two kids ran at him, getting their heads shoved to the side. He fought off three other boys before he set his eyes on Bryce. "Gonna run away from me like a little bitch?"

"You gonna fight like one?" Bryce asked, getting swung at as he ducked to dodge it, a punch to the gut to go with it. Hawk stumbling back, latching onto Bryce's arms and yanking him his way, a toss to the lockers. They passed Miguel and Robby, who were both swinging heavily and fighting just as hard.

Bryce grasped Hawks wrist before he could hit him, a kick to the side as he stumbled backwards. Before he could react, a kick was thrown right into his jaw. Bryce winced as he hit the lockers, a pain flooding his right jaw. He ducked done quickly as his brother tried to punch him again, his fist colliding with the locker. Bryce took the opportunity to wrap his arms around his waist, taking him down to the ground as they both huffed in pain.

"I can't believe you joined Miyagi-Do like a pussy!" Hawk yelled at him as he rolled over, getting ontop of Bryce and punching him in the nose. He did it again, holding the collar of the purple shirt.

Bryce grinned, blood from his nose staining his teeth. "I can't believe you spiked your hair up like a fourth grader."

It angered Hawk again, punching him in the nose once more before Bryce grabbing his wrist, twisting them over to get to his feet. Hawk was with him, going to punch him again before Bryce ducked down, a hand reaching over and yanking Hawk away from him.

Demetri.

It resulted in the pair taking off, Demetri running for his life before Bryce had the chance to thank him. He looked around for any sight of Sam, pushing through the fighting dojos, coming into the cafeteria to see Sam and Tory going at it on the stairs. He was cut off by being tackled by one of Hawks friend, Dough Rickenberger. He got a punch in the face again, shoving his other fist away before he could get him.

Bryce held onto his wrist tightly, spinning backwards and yanking him over his shoulder. Doug hit the ground with a wince, making Bryce grin. "Yeah!"

He looked back to the stairs, seeing Migeul and Robby had escalated up there as well. He found Sam again, Tory grasping a spiked bracelet in her hand and cutting her arm. Sam cried out in pain, hitting the ground as Tory grabbed her, holding the bracelet out like she was gonna cut her face. Bryce sprinting up the stairs, grabbing Torys wrist with a hard yank, shoving her back as her back hit the staircase, Sam stood up and kicked her in the face as she stumbled down the remaining stairs.

Bryce was frozen in shock for a second, coming back when he heard Sam give a minor cry of pain. He turned, seeing the blood on her forearm as she clutched it. Bryce held her shoulder, clasping his hand on the wound as she winced. "You gotta keep pressure on it until we can get to the nurse."

Sam nodded, letting Bryce lead her down the remaining stairs. A boy from Cobra Kai was coming for them, Bryce, being high on the stairs, had the advantage of kicking him in the face before he could touch each other of them. He placed his other hand on Sams back, leading her away again. She paused to look up, Bryce doing the same to see Miguel and Robby still going at it. They stilled a second, seeing how it would end and if Sam needed to interfere.

Bryce frowned his eyebrows in confusion as Miguel let Robby go, making the mistake as Robby got to his feet, giving a harsh kick to the chest as Miguel flew over the railing. Bryce's eyes widened in a panic, Tory yelling out Miguel's name, the boy hitting the railing below harshly as his limb body laid on the stairs. Robby ran off, Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do putting their differences aside for the first time to crowd around the limb boy.
