Kyler was met with a forceful grab the next day, Sam still not back at school yet. He hadn't expected to be shoved against the lockers, his face grasped in Bryce's hands. "Woah, man, what the hell?"

"Don't talk." Bryce squeezed his face tighter to keep him silent. "If you come anywhere near Sam, i'll snap you in half, do you hear me?"

"What are you-" Kyler began, his shirt behind grasped again with another shove to the lockers.

"I know what happened at the movies. You can say whatever you want, but I know. And i'll always know." Bruce nodded his bead, a look in his eye that Miyagi-Do would never approve of. "If you try that shit again with anyone else, i'll know, and i'll come after your ass. Yeah?"

Kyler avoided his eye as Bryce gripped his face tighter. "Believe me, Kyler, you do not want to see what i'm capable of outside of karate. Because it's a lot more then a few kicks and punches. Okay?"

Kyler wouldn't meet his eye, despite Bryce being right in his face. A new voice rung before Kyler could say anything. "Mr.Moskowitz, come with me!"

Bryce turned to see Councilor Blytt at the end of the hall with a pair of new students. Bryce let Kyler go with a friendly shrug, walking her way. He looked at one of the twins, taking a dramatic bow with a grin across his face. "Welcome to West Valley High."

"I'm really glad your dad started to train all of us again." Bryce said honestly after picking up Sam from the town hall meeting. "I was getting tired of Sensei Sam."

"Ouch." she looked his way in disbelief. "I think Miguel and I did really great in there, getting the All Valley back on, and all that. I think there might actually be a chance of us working together somehow."

Bryce glanced her way slightly. "Miguel?"

"He was fighting for Johnny, I was fighting for my dad. We kinda just mashed together." she explained honestly with a little shrug. "You like Miguel, don't you?"

"Oh, yeah, sure." Bryce hummed, taking a turn. "So, does that mean, like, you two are friends again? Or, trying to work stuff out?"

"What? No, we're just on the same page." Sam laughed in the slightest, realizing they were no longer on the route to her house. "Oh god, where are you taking me now?"

"You're gonna get mad." Bryce flashed her a smile. "But, know that it's not a common thing anymore."

"Uh oh, what does that mean?" she looked over.

"You do know this is illegal, right?" Sam gapped in disbelief, hugging her jacket closer to her body. "Like, extremely illegal."

"Relax. No one comes back here." Bryce spoke in return, leading Sam down the little alley. "So, what do you think?"

She looked up at the wall of graffiti, different things spray painted with different shades, mainly green though. "I like it, but it's still illegal."

"True." he hummed, pulling a can from his bag. "Wanna do something?"

"Are you crazy?" Sam gapped in disbelief. "We could get arrested."

"I told you, no one comes back here." Bryce said i'm return, shaking the bottle as he dropped his bag. "Okay, i'll do it for you."

Sam stepped back and watched Bryce make A large circle with a little arrow coming out of the top right side. She gave an odd look. "What's that suppose to mean?"

"It's the mars sign." Bryce said in return, passing her the spray paint. "Do you never get the urge to do something you know you aren't suppose to?"

Sam stared at him as Bryce narrowed his eyes slightly. "Something you know is so wrong?"

She exhaled, looking back as the wall as she stepped forward, spraying a circle with a arrow at the top, just as he did. Bryce grinned as Sam smiled. "Mars."

"How do you feel?" he nodded.

Sam gave a questionable look. "Is there gonna be a life lesson behind this?"

"Not a life lesson." he chuckled slightly. "More of a, what would you call it? A taste of my world."

Sam nodded. "I don't know how I feel about your world."

"Well, it's not all spray paint and drunk parties." his hand grasped hers,
giving her a slow spin. "There's also dancing. And night drives. And long showers until all the hot waters gone."

Sam gave a little grin as he spun her back around, dropping her arm, put their fingers stayed locked. Bryce gave her a small blink. "And now there's you."

Sam flushed slightly, grinning as she broke off their eyes contact. "Maybe I like your world then."

"I like it too." he agreed, pulling her in closer for a moment. A noise at the end of the alley made them hurry to look over, getting sight of a figure storming off immediately.

"Can we go?" Sam gave a worried look.

"Yeah, i'll take you back home." Bryce said quickly, wrapping a protective arm around her as they went back to the car.

"I'm not coming with you!" Bryce had gotten into a massive fight with his dad after dropping Sam off, coming home to see him on the couch.

"Bryce, the court order is for you to come every other weekend. You haven't done that in over two months." he said back with a shake of his head. "We want to see you."

"Okay, well, I don't want to see you." Bryce said back in annoyance.

"Bryce." Jody spoke from the kitchen. "Don't be cruel."

"You wanna know what's cruel?" Bryce looked back at his dad in disbelief. "Why don't you ask Eli why I don't want to come back?"

"So, it's a fight between the two of you?" he followed him as Bryce stormed toward his room. "Bryce?"

"I'm seventeen years old, i'm so sick of being told where to go on the weekends." he called, slamming his bedroom with with a forceful lock. He yanked his phone from his pocket, finding Sams name and listening to the line ring. "Need some company?"

"I feel like every time we leave each other, we end up right back together." Sam spoke as she opened the door, Bryce standing there. "Aren't we suppose to all hang out tomorrow too?"

"Well, you're my only friend, Samantha." Bryce hummed, walking inside and shrugging his jacket off. "You sure it's okay that i'm over here?"

"My mom loves you." she said honestly, taking Bryce bag for him. "Is everything okay?"

"Just don't really wanna be home right now." he said honestly, forcing a smile as she nodded. "I'll be gone before you wake up tomorrow."

"Don't worry about it." she said back, going up the stairs and leaving Bryce down stairs. He peaked his head around the corner of the kitchen, seeing Amanda stirring a mug.

"Hey, Mrs.LaRusso." he greeted her with a half grin. "What are you doing?"

"Oh, good, come here." she waved him over, holding the mug up. "Try this. Tell me if it's too bitter."

"What is it?" he gave an odd look, taking a sip.

"It's suppose to be a peanut butter hot coco but i'm only getting dark chocolate." she shook her head, seeing Bryce's panicked look. "Oh, god, what?"

"I'm allergic to peanut butter." his eyes widened while staring at her.

"Oh-oh my god. Okay, hang o-" Amanda stopped as he started to laugh.

"I'm just messing with you." Bryce laughed, setting the mug back down. "It's good but I think if you add a few marshmallows the chocolate won't be so over powering."

Sam walked into the kitten. Amanda shook her head. "Take him before we throw down in this kitchen."

"Oh god, what did he do?" Sam gave a crazy look.

"Nearly gave me a heartattck." she said in return as Bryce continue to laugh, following Sam. "Stay in the living room!"

"You should have seen her face." Bryce laughed slightly as Sam flopped onto the couch first, he followed. "Where's that parasite brother of yours?"

"Probably on his gross Ipad." she gave a disgusting look. "You wanna talk about what happened with your dad?"

Bryce shrugged. "He just doesn't get it. They don't understand."

"The karate thing?" Sam asked, making him nod. "Have you told them about all Eli has been doing?"

"I'm not gonna snitch on my brother." Bryce exhaled, leaning his head on the couch slightly but holding eye contact. "I know they expect more from me and I just can't give it to them."

"What do you mean?" Sam leaned on her elbow.

"They expect me to be a good roll model for Eli and I just never was. And, that's probably my fault, but I just couldn't help it sometimes." he admitted honestly. "I'd just get so mad at my dad and i'd act out so much. It was like these rages of....jealousy."

Sam blinked. "Of Eli?"

"Of everyone." he nodded with a shrug of his shoulders, shaking his head. "But, no one really bothered to ask me any of that. Not until I met your dad."

Sam reached over, waving Bryce over as his head fell onto her lap.
