Dear James,

I think Lily's warming up to you. I can see it in the way she bites back a smile after she rejects you every time. She doesn't seem to roll her eyes out of annoyance and spite anymore. It's like a flower blossoming through the cold harsh frost that remains surrounding it, and I think that it's beautiful.

She's slowly falling for you James, and you deserve it. So does she. When you finally get her, don't let go, James. Hold on tight, to love. It might be the only thing left now.

I've been thinking a lot now. About a lot of things. The summer, our last year, our graduation, Reggae, my missions for the order, my engagement, the future. How fast time flies by. Like the landscape is the time and the train is your life. It might go right on track, or get off the rails. Its fate.

Reggae's life is going to change very soon, very fast. Once he turns of age, he'll be going about, doing things. Things he wasn't supposed to, even though he was born for them. Things he won't be able to handle. So I'll be there. I'll always be there. What else will I do if not?

Siri's been quite off since I mentioned Regulus' case to him. He's been incredibly upset, and blames himself for not bringing us along when he ran. I told him to not wallow in his misery. If there's one thing I learnt, wallowing about won't help. I've convinced him to try and reconcile the broken threads between him and Reggae. They both need it. Yes, they might have me, but a sibling is always a sibling, and you'll be surprised how fast one puts bad blood behind when it comes to someone they love.

Hopefully that'll be something you'll need to know in the future. Hopefully not.

Love,

Cassie
