two weeks later.

The police had a story, a lie. Jake left the country because Addy found chats with Simon on his phone. Nate was nearly free, and things were suppose to be normal. The police left them alone, but Allison wasn't normal.

She needed help.

And she got it, going to a mental health facility a few minutes from school. The first week she was meant to be free of everything, but she got her phone the second week. Now, sitting in the sun with a book and deep breaths, her phone rung.

"Janae?" Allison answered the phone with a smile. "Hey, thanks for calling."

"So, how's the psych ward?" she joked on the other line. "You planning a break out yet?"

"It's fine." Allison smiled, marking her book page. "It's helped, a lot."

"That's really good, Allison." Janae spoke from the other line, listening to her talk. "I'm glad you're doing better."

"I don't want to remember him like that." she admitted, because she'd told her friends, the same night she almost murdered Jake before someone did it for her, what was happening. "I know it wasn't him that I was seeing, and hearing."

"No, it wasn't." Janae agreed. "I know you know that too. He loved you, Allison. Remember the good parts."

"All the good parts in my life come back to him." Allison smiled slightly, the sun down on her as she inhaled. "It's good to hear your voice, Janae."

"Yours too." the blonde inhaled. "When are you getting out?"

"Two more weeks." she nodded, despite her not being able to see. "But, for now, i'm talking to a lot of councilors and finding the right medication for me."

"Good luck, Allison." she said from the other line. "We'll talk soon?"

"Yeah." Allison smiled. "I'm glad you called, Janae."

Hanging up the phone, Allison went to grab her book again before her phone dinged. Not a call, but a message. A pop up.

Simon Says: Do as I tell. Or everyone will know what you did.

i'm so sad this is over but it's
been so much fun talking with
you guys. when i started this
book i was like nah i'll probably
get 50 reads per chapter but
there was so much support and
i was shocked! you guys are so
much fun to talk to in the comments and i can't wait to
do so again when season two
comes out, whenever that is.

of yourself, be gentle with your
health and feelings, and ask
