If things couldn't get any worse, Lauren's heart froze as she saw the bubble up of the water opening a new vent, and by the placement and size of it; it was the monster Skull Crawler. "Run!" Lauren screamed out at the others hoping they'd clear as the Skull Crawler the size of Kong splashed out of the water. The Skull Crawler's eyes locked straight onto Lauren knowing who she was, a roar left its jaws and Lauren immediately got pulled back from Kong's view. "We need to go!" Jack called out as they all backed away from the sight of the Skull Crawler. Lauren's eyes were locked on Kong, Kong's eyes watched as she was pulled away despite reaching for him.

"James!!" Lauren called out knowing that Packard was a lost cause, the tracker sighed before following behind the others in an attempt to escape the wrath of the Skull Crawler and the chance of Lauren trying to come back for him. Lauren watched as Kong crushed Packard under his fist, she smirked before it fell as the Skull Crawler turn its attention to the still heavily injured Kong, the Skull Crawler pushed Kong to the ground. James wrapped his arm around Lauren and pulled her away, "Kong's down, we gotta go!" Lauren watched as the Skull Crawler's eyes locked on her as the two rushed into the jungle.

The sun was rising in the distance as the survivors rushed through the jungle until they reached a marsh, Lauren looked around the area and smirked to herself. "I've got a flare gun sitting up on those rocks, I'll send one up for Brooks," Lauren told James who nodded, the knowledge that she'd be out of harm's way eased him. "There should be a bag stashed to the east ship labeled 'Shelia Delights', it has homemade bombs that just need activators," Lauren told the soldiers who nodded knowing exactly how to handle those. "Be safe, I expect to see you all on the other side of this," Lauren told them as she ruffled Slivko's hair before making her way toward the mountain.

"Come on, every second counts!" James told the soldiers, Jack quickly found the bag and pulled them out with a chuckle. "These will stick to its hide and do some nice damage," Cole said with an impressed smile on his face. "Mate, if you don't marry her, one of us will," Mills teased James who rolled his eyes at their comment. "Hope you boys got some good throwing arms!" Marlow told them as the Skull Crawler came their way. "Activators are on!" Slivko told them as he and Reles finished up with the sticky bombs. "Let's get pitching!" Marlow called as they all activated the bombs and threw them at the Skull Crawler.

"Slivko, you were supposed to aim for the large target--" Mills' teasing was cut off by Slivko's bomb exploding in the path of the Skull Crawler knocking it momentarily off of its feet bringing a smirk to Slivko's face. "You were saying?" Slivko asked Mills before Jack spoke up, "Fun's over, boys!" They all raced off into the marsh around the shipwrecks while the Skull Crawler tried to flip itself back over while ignoring its painful wounds from the explosions. Meanwhile, Lauren was still scaling the mountain to reach the placement of her flare gun, her attention had been taken momentarily by the explosions before she focused on her task.

Lauren turned her head at Kong's familiar growl, she watched as Kong slammed a boulder into the Skull Crawler's head. With her newfound boost knowing Kong was back in the ring, Lauren pushed herself to get up the mountain; not just for the flare gun but her last line of defense should she ever need it. While Kong and the Skull Crawler battled, the soldiers and James rushed away from the fight in hopes to clear it into safety. Lauren however, has finally reached the top of the mountain; she pulled the knapsack out of its hiding place and pulled out the flare gun, loaded it before firing it into the sky.

Kong ripped up a tree and tore off the branches to make it a weapon as the Skull Crawler snarled at him readying for another round to claim the King title but Kong wasn't going to back down from this fight. The two titans rushed each other, Kong using the tree to bash the Skull Crawler across the jaw with enough force to send it stumbling back. "Yes, Kong..." Lauren muttered to herself as she reached back into the knapsack before pulling at a single-shot homemade crossbow that would fire one bolt that would explode and blind the Skull Crawler; she had made it in case this situation ever happened while she was on the Island.

The Skull Crawler charged Kong, the large ape grabbing it by the throat however it used its tail to wrap around Kong's torso, and both of its hands connected with Kong's as it screeched in Kong's face. With the force of its tail whip, the Skull Crawler threw Kong into a pile-up of shipwrecks where he got chained up by old rusted anchors. The Skull Crawler prowled towards Kong, pressing down on the ship lying across Kong before taunting the prehistoric ape with its tongue but before the Skull Crawler could taunt further; gunfire rained on the large monster.

Lauren watched as the Ploat appeared on the river firing the gun at the Skull Crawler protecting Kong and allowing him a better opportunity to find a way free. The soldiers and James made their way toward the boat, each of them pulling themselves into the safety of the ploat. Unfortunately, the gun on the boat had overheated and stopped working causing Marlow to shove Brooks aside, the Skull Crawler's full attention on them. Kong pushed himself up from the chains, roaring as he used all of his strength to pull himself free from the chains holding him down.

Lauren dropped to one knee as she adjusted the dodgy crossbow to rest by her shoulder, clicking in the arrow that would explode at impact; with a deep breath and awaiting the Skull Crawler to step in place, she fired the bolt. The bolt managed to be in the precise location by the Skull Crawlers' eye, the explosion blinded the Skull Crawler and sent it off of its pathing towards the Ploat. "She's a major badass," Cole spoke up as he watched the Skull Crawler pat down the flames across its flesh and bone. Lauren turned her eyes to Kong who had decided to use the ship propellers as weapons, flinging the right ship propeller straight into the Skull Crawlers' shoulder.

Dragging the beast back before using the chain to restrain it, giving Kong the upper hand to toss the Skull Crawler around. Kong punched the Skull Crawlers' jaw before lifting the titan lizard up and tossing it into a mountain, however, he didn't account for the fact that Lauren had been standing on that cliff's edge. Lauren's footing stumbled before she was thrown off of the cliff, a scream leaving her lips in fear pulling Kong's attention before the Skull Crawler distracted him. "LAUREN!" James screamed from his place by the ploat, his eyes wide as Lauren landed in the river by the Titans; Kong's own whimpers leaving his lips as he fought harder.

Kong ripped the ship propeller from the Skull Crawlers' shoulder leaving a large cut behind before roaring as he sliced the sharp weapon across the Skull Crawler's throat. As the Skull Crawler drops, Kong approaches the river and reaches in to pull Lauren out of the water, his saddened eyes focused on the small body in his palm; the sister he had. But before Kong could check on her further, the Skull Crawler clamped its jaws on the arm leaning on the mountain causing Kong to enclose his fingers around Lauren in hopes to protect her from the beast.

The Skull Crawler, knowing that Lauren was in Kong's enclosed fist stuck its tongue out and wrapped it around Kong's wrist pulling the fist into its mouth. Everyone was watching in fear from the Ploat, Mason's heart was racing as she stood with Slivko; James standing ahead of them with his eyes focused on the fist containing Lauren. "Come on..." Marlow whispered with full faith in Kong. Kong growled before using all of his strength to pull his fist out of the Skull Crawlers' jaws bringing out his tongue and insides in one fell swoop leaving the Skull Crawler as nothing but a carcass; finally defeating the beast that took his parents.
