PLOT

Averly and Ben Beast were as close as two siblings could be. They worked extremely well together and were a team that couldn't be beaten. No one was more excited than Averly when the time for her brother to rule Auradon had finally come. She was more than ready to help him whenever and with whatever she could to make sure his visions to make their kingdom a better place came true. That was what the citizens of their land needed.

At least, that's what she thought.

Averly didn't know what to think when she heard about her brother's idea about bringing children from the Isle to Auradon. She knew what happened throughout history and didn't trust what happened on that island. The Beast girl had a feeling that nothing but chaos would follow if Ben went through with his plans. And for the first time in her life, Averly found herself questioning her brother's decisions for the first time.

And she didn't like that feeling.

The time had come for the four children chosen to arrive in Auradon. As usual, Averly was by her brother's side even though she'd rather be anywhere else. Her nerves were on overdrive as she thought about what could happen with villain kids in Auradon. Averly knew it wasn't going to end well for anyone, but she had to support her brother. Because if she didn't, who would? Everyone in the country seemed to be against Ben and his decision, so Averly knew she couldn't abandon him now.

She just hoped she was wrong.

NOTES

▻ Averly and Paisley are both 15 years old.

▻ Averly doesn't like Ben's idea but she still tries to support him. After the Family Day incident, she is stuck between still supporting her brother or siding with the rest of the Auradon Kids. What she decides to do is up to you.

▻ Averly and Jay should have a conversation sometime after Family Day that makes her see that the VKs really aren't that bad.

▻ Averly and Jay will have a slowburn relationship. I wouldn't have Averly and Jay officially get together until maybe the end of Descendants 2.

▻ She will get kidnapped with Ben by the pirates in Descendants 2. Harry uses her to push Jay's buttons.

▻ Averly and Paisley have known each other their entire lives but their friendship didn't start until Ben and Audrey started dating. Even though Averly can't stand Audrey, she and Paisley are as thick as thieves.

▻ The only thing Paisley has in common with Audrey is that they're both on the cheer team. Other than that, they don't really like spending time with each other.

▻ It is up to you to decide Paisley's love interest. You can create another character for her or pair her with a canon character. You can even leave her without a love interest if you'd prefer that.

▻ It's up to you if you want to keep all the movies in one book or create a series.
